Caffe Nero - Lymington in New Forest

Excellent coffee. Perfectly prepared. Service fast despite being busy. Coffee style playlist also good. Well and warmly attended to by Neto, Phoebe and the rest of the team.

These days every time I visit this place the coffee machine is broken. Seriously, it's a coffee shop that you can't get coffee from! This used to be my place to go as I was a regular at Nero's for years before moving to Lymington. What this poor experience has done though is open my eyes to some of the AMAZING independent coffee shops in Lymington 😀☕ I won't be going been to Nero's anytime soon

As clean as ever, polite and respectful staff and a great coffee. For me personally, they have the edge over all the others. Service second to none, coffee as good as ever. It's popular and I'm not surprised.

We had a flat white and a chai latte and the drinks were well prepared. Good quality

From a design and decor perspective the Caffè Nero in Lymington is unremarkable, although it is clean and tidy and has a nice outdoor area to the rear. Service was good as were our coffees.

Nero’s been here many years and serves good coffee. The place is in desperate need of a refurbishment. The seats are disgusting and you shiver when go to sit on them !

Friendly staff. Relaxing chairs. However, despite being 6°C outside the air conditioning was still on and caused an unpleasant draught meaning coats on throughout our stay. This seems to be a Caffe Nero thing. Latte was 1/3 froth and more like a cappuccino. Overall it was OK but unremarkable.

Bit disappointing as non dairy/gluten free, 2 packet cake options, and no Almond milk so not top of my list, nice and clean though with comfy seats, husband had the Amaretto mince pie said it was nice

Drink was ok but the environment is very dirty, especially the armchairs with disgusting upholstery, the floors, door and windows .

Lovely place to have a coffee, food if you fancy, and just sit and relax.

A large cafe ,which is good for getting a seat, but all of the seats could do with being replaced

Nero normally better managed but seemed to be limited on staff numbers and waited 20 minutes to be served and get a burnt panini

Some of the comfortable seats down the back are stained and the seat cushions where my colleague and I sat were covered in food with more under the cushions. Not been cleaned for some time by the look of it!

Bitter and undrinkable coffee - straight in the bin!

Love the coffee, staff always friendly but....the cafe is in need of a proper cleaning, especially considering the times we are in. The armchairs are appalling, lifted the cushion to shake away the crumbs on it and the wrappers, biscuits, crisps etc underneath were disgusting!! Had to wet wipe the table, the arms on the chairs are filthy so will just be getting take aways in future, which is a great shame.

Love the coffee(decaf), when I get into town, pity it's not easily to get to out of town.

Standard Caffe Nero fare, the environment is a little small and it may be difficult to find a seat. In the summer they have an outdoor area which can be great in the heat.

Cookie and shortbread were decent but not world-beaters, milkshake was lovely

As always the staff were friendly, lively and highly efficient. They always remember what I usually have. The coffee is of good quality and is made very quickly. There is always a positive buzz around the place as the staff are invariably laughing and enjoying each other’s company.

Great coffee , great service and engaged staff Adam, Edie, Jamie, Magyer (not sure if the name is right a young chap very hard working ) and Katherine all very informal but pleasant & hard working with a nice way of engaging. How they remember all the orders and drinks is impressive must be well trained. Only thing to improve is decor is a bit dated, settees and chairs need some refurb or replace and the electric charging points for phones and laptops put at a higher level for ease of access.

The coffee was burn the milk was over steamed which made the taste 10 times worse, the toilets need to be clean and checked more regularly

I know that the Law states masks are not mandatory in hospitality areas, but! Staff this morning are choosing not to wear a mask. The majority of customers, at least 90% chose to wear a mask. Lymington has approximately 20 other coffee outlets. For my peace of mind I will be giving this outlet a miss. Yes I do know the staff have the right to not wear a mask.

Best of the coffee house chains by far. Very pleasant mid morning break at the Lymington shop with a Guatemalan latte and turkey and cranberry lattice. Gentleman member of staff who served us was very pleasant and helpful.

Usual good coffee but tables uncleared and the easy chairs and settees disgusting ,unclean and have seen better days. In need of an update !

Nice shop, coffee is very good at Nero. Food is the same fodder you get in all other chain coffee shops being over priced and pre packed but you know what to expect. Good shop to come and sit for 30 mins or so. Don't plan on being able to work from here with your wifi devices however, the wifi service is shocking and has been for months. At least can piggy back onto the Angel and Blue Pig network from across the road as they clearly have a good solution over there.

Very friendly staff, although fairly busy it was clean and as soon as customers left tables were cleared and cleaned.

Nice atmosphere, great service and reliably great coffee. Sausage rolls are amazing, as is the pizza. My favourite place in Lymington to sit for a couple of hours with a book and a great coffee.

Ok guys I apologise for only one outside picy but I forgot to take some inside . So the inside was ok nothing to write home about but a special little bonus was a nice little outside area to catch some rays from the sun if your lucky 😉, I haven’t seen that before in a Neros and in my opinion more of please 😎..service pretty good , helpful staff with a smile..enjoy x

All good except one of the staff couldn't correctly wear a mask.

Have visited Cafe Nero’s in Lymington many times which is often very good. Unfortunately there is one member of staff (small young lady) who is quite rude with a bad attitude when dealing with customers. I thought this was a one off but have been served by her a few times and received the same service. A smile and politeness goes a very long way and costs nothing.

If you have looked through any of my other reviews you’ll see that Cafe Nero is a family fave. Hot chocs are always great and consistent in taste and we do like a frappe milkshake too. Nice cuppa tea too! Didn’t go for cake today. Inside was clean with plenty of socially distant tables. Staff friendly and service very swift.

I always love coming here because its a lovely cosy little coffee shop but I don't think the quality of their coffee and their selections are that brilliant.

Best place I’ve ever been, booking my next holiday here when rona is ova. Sometimes I dream about this place, my happy place. The comments about the dirtiness and the slowest truly reflect the people of lymo, art. It’s not Buckingham palaces so chill out it’s peng alrightyttyyy. Dis Nero again and I will write another review oooooo come at me.

It is a lot bigger inside than it looks from the outside as there are plenty of seats available inside & out, the staff are polite plus my hot chocolate was very well made & HOT, they sell a good range of hot & cold beverages as well as hot & cold snacks plus cakes.

We've visited a couple of times recently, and not particularly late in the afternoon, but they have always run out of toasties and sandwiches. The coffee is good & the cakes are tasty, but it would be nice to have a savoury option. Not to mention the sales they're missing out on!

Very dirty, where did the training go. to employees!

It’s been a while since we had a Nero fix so the morning after a few beers seemed a good time. Service was particularly slow, there was a bit of a queue but little attempt to pick up the pace which was disappointing. We managed to grab arguably the best table by the window but there were dirty cups and trays on the floor next to us. The coffee was great as usual for Nero but they need to either get more staff in or get those there to sort out the issues.

never been here before so was impressed by the range and in lymington they allow well behaved dogs. had a frappe creme espresso and caramel no cream which I enjoyed. the barista was lovely and explained it to me before I bought. the queue was long but the baristas were working flat out. I will definitely go back and try the tempting vegan deli sandwich next time.

Iced coffees absolutely foul. Not brilliantly clean either

Nice coffee but very few staff to clear and clean tables. Young lady in training did her very best. Unlikely to visit again.
