Ordered 2 coffees, it was ditting on bar while staff served alcohol drinks. When it came one was a mess,toq much milk had been put in and was overflowing into saucer. Young lady didn't say sorry or anything, just put it down and went. Doesn't seem to hive options for photo to be left.

Having read the reviews I wasn’t too sure as there are plenty of places in Ringwood to eat. But we went and the welcome was lovely, so that is always a good start. Menu was great, we were told it was new so great to see that they are making more on their food offering. Food was great, portion size good, flavour great, I had a burger and my friend a pizza and the pizza is so good and homemade which is so nice to see in a pub environment. We shall be back, we found it a great price for the quality and the team were attentive and polite. Apparently they are starting roast dinners soon, we shall be in for one of those. Thank you

Slightly overcrowded ( for obvious reasons). Pricey enough , eg an omelette on a plate with no garnish. Adequate service but no 'panache'. Good venue if you have a Blue Badge.

Went with a friend and its a very nice restaurant. I had a breakfast & mate had a roast chicken & bacon toasted sandwich. Food was nice and really liked the place.

How we wish Ringwood had a 'Wetherspoons '.-- But It hasn't so for the second time this year we had lunch , tea ,coffee. at Framptons. The venue looks nice from outside.........., nice big windows at The front, and large cosy areas leading to a back yard...........BUT, the food is poor quality , and expensive for what it is .......service isnt great and the staff appear 'casual ' hands rather than professionally trained workers. ------We spent over £40 , but felt we wasnt welcome. They couldnt be bothered even to hunt out some white sugar for my girlfriends tea. (brown only ).

Nice visit to Framptons for a delicious Saturday breakfast with friends. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Booked in for breakfast and service a bit stretched to begin with but then picked up. Food was great although sat next to the kitchen and the pizza cutter tool obviously hadn’t been washed since the day before with the remains of last nights pizza still on it.

We visited for brunch on a Saturday morning. There was a small error with one of our orders which resulted in our food not arriving at the same time. However, when it did arrive it was delicious - as were the drinks. Atmosphere was relaxed - fewer than half the tables were occupied. Prices reasonable given the quality of the food served.

I've returned you star rating to 5* An update...3 months on...still upside down despite the rest of the street now flying Union Flags the right way up. Months ago I reported to your manager that you are flying the union flag upside down. On my return visit on Friday it is still disrespectfully inverted. You wouldn't do it to a US flag! Stop doing it to yours!

A friend and I went to Framptons on a Thursday early evening. We were told that the menu was either burgers, pizzas or salad. We opted for chicken Caesar salad. I’ve had some wonderful chicken Caesar salads in my lifetime, but this was definitely not one of them. They consisted of a few lettuce leaves, a small flavourless, cooked chicken breast, cut into pieces, some very large, rockhard, croutons, and the whole thing was smothered in a fishy dressing, which tasted awful. I was with a friend and didn’t want to make a fuss so I ate the chicken and left the rest. I did say to the server that the dressing was really fishy and unpleasant, and she said they always use an anchovy dressing on a Caesar salad. I suggested perhaps they would offer a different dressing for those who don’t like anchovies. She reported back that the chef said they don’t offer an alternative dressing, but in future, they will tell people that this salad has an anchovy dressing before they order it. Salads were £15 each. I’m sorry, but it was awful. And to say that if you don’t like anchovy dressing, there is no alternative is ridiculous. This is a restaurant. There are some wonderful Caesar dressing is available without anchovies in them. How difficult would it be to buy a few bottles in? I have had nice meals here in the past, but I must admit it was a long time ago. Clearly things have changed. But someone definitely needs to get a grip here.

Ordered 2 X Ham & Cheese Toasted Sandwiches for lunch. Cost £9.00 each. It took over 30 minutes. When it arrived it was nothing spectacular at all, we thought at £9.00 it would have been quite fancy,. But no it was nothing but 2 pieces of thin white standard sliced bread, hardly toasted, a bit of hock ham and a little cheese (hardly melted) with some sad watercress with olive oil!!!! Very disappointing, waste of time and money, will not visit again. Definitely do not recommend.

Waited almost an hour after ordering food and the food never arrived we left without food as we had to be somewhere else. We came for someone's birthday too. Not the best. Ruined our Sunday morning!!!

Lovely spontaneous afternoon with my bestie and lovely friendly staff. I came here before a few months ago and havent had a chance to revisit this establishment since but since I have today I thought it deserves another review. I came here with my bestie today on a Wednesday and was pleasantly surprised how busy it was and realised they also have a whole outside area and little shack that they play music too. We have been on every part of the bar and garden/shack and it is literally a one stop shop and whether you want food or drinks it’s sorted. I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely staff Ross and Dan tonight who were so hospitable and friendly and really made the local warm friendly pub and experience that little bit better. Restaurant staff are so underestimated these days and sometimes they are so much more kinder and interesting than most people. There’s nothing better than having a lovely warm pub topped with kind warm staff. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

Went on exactly opening time for breakfast, no one was there at all apart from 1 young man working there, he stated that we could not sit inside the warm area as he said later on he will be getting very busy, we didnt want to sit outside in the cold area by the gully drains so we was forced to leave and go to another resturant for breakfast. This claiming to be getting busy at sometime in the future sounded ridiculas as it was not later and no one was there, anyway there are lots more places to go else where if they dont want the money someone else will.

I like this place for the vibe and friendliness of the staff but the food is so hit and miss. Eggs benedict came with 2 boiled eggs. What a fail and just to be told: "Oh well, I am sure it will be just as nice as runny eggs" is not really acceptable

Have been to Framptons a few times now and it never disappoints. Staff are accommodating and friendly and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the breakfasts/brunch. 5 stars for me

If you're looking for a venue for a function then Framptons is the place. We wanted to book their upstairs room for my girlfriend's 25th birthday dinner party, which Amanda helped us organise - she sat down with us in the bar and planned everything out to our liking. We were given freedom to decorate, put on our own music, set up karaoke, the works. They also provided us a set dinner menu to our liking and covered vegetarian options for those in our party needing it. Amanda was a star when it came to communication, organisation, and just overall a massive help. The price of throwing the function was very reasonable which included 14 two course meals, 6 bottles of prosecco for the table, a private bar, private use of the whole upstairs room, and unbeatable service from all the staff - running up the food and serving us drinks all night (shout out to Lee, we'll pay for his therapy after having to listen our karaoke all night 😂) Being allowed to get down early in the day and decorate was also a bit help and they had the tables, chairs, cutlery, etc all ready for us which made everything a breeze when we started to add our decorations. Again, the team could not have been more helpful. The night was perfect and we had a lot of fun, we all loved the food for not just the flavour (which was incredible) but the portion sizes too, absolutely spot on. Lee was great on the bar and went above and beyond to run drinks up and down the stairs. All in all Framptons provided us with a night to remember and we're all very thankful 🙌

We had a wed lunch burger meal deal with a glass of drink £12 each the best burger I have tasted and lovely tasty fries.

Absolutely superb Sunday roast, it must be one of the best in the area (probably the best)

I pre-booked a table for a sunday lunch, when I arrived I was greeted and taken to my table. I already had in mind what I planned to order a roast beef dinner, and told the waitress immediately. Looking around the room still had a few traces of the old shop that it used to be many years ago which was nice. When my dinner arrived the plate consisted of a large Yorkshire pudding, a slice of roast parsnip, a slice of roast carrot all lying over 3 roast potatoes with a spoon of cabbage and 3 slices of beef. All of which was cooked perfectly. As I still felt a little bit hungry I ordered a sticky toffee pudding, which was nice. When I received the bill, I noticed that a service charge had been already added which annoyed me as I would far rather be asked if I woukd like to give a gratuity, I would have probably given more than the 4%. If they feel that they need the 4% just add ut into the initial price. All in all though a good but not great experience.

We stop by regularly, the service is always good, friendly and attentive. The food is your typical pub grub with some great pizzas. Good drink selection, although could do with a few more real beers. Highly recommended!!

Booked the upstairs room for a leaving party. Good communication through the process. On the night the room was set up as I had asked. Delicious pizzas started to arrive at the stated time. At 8.30 when the dj downstairs started we had Framptons iPad and could then select our own music from Spotify which was great fun. Big shout out to Lee our barman for the night. He was the greatest, friendly, fun and nothing was too much trouble. I have no idea how many times he went up and down the stairs!

We hired the upstairs function room for a birthday party, Framptons internet went off-line meaning that we were unable to play our music for most of the evening. So a party without music - not great. The cost of the room hire with the barman was £300. Barman and manager were aware of the issues. I personally went in and spoke to Dan the manager to discuss our complaint and a phone call was promised to my son to discuss. Dan didn't phone so an email was sent and we are being COMPLETLY IGNORED. Avoid this company if you want any level of service.

Nice bar to meet in Ringwood for drinks

We had an office celebration dinner last night. Nice surprise to have mid-week specials on classic burgers and pizzas! The food was all good, and friendly efficient service. Oddly we also had a dog barking a few times which got irritating at one point. However, really nice atmosphere as we were sat around the corner and not near the bar area. Would recommend.

This was my first time at Framptons and unfortunately I wont be returning. The menu is very limited - no starters and only pizza, burger, fish and chips and salad. I struggled to choose and reluctantly ordered the Korean burger. When the burger arrived, between some lettuce was a plain battered chicken breast with no sauce. The batter had what looked like soy sauce on it, just in the middle which had soaked in and had no flavour. The batter itself was greasy. I questioned the lack of sauce and the splash of something on the batter but the waiter couldnt offer any explanation. I was told that it was definitely the Korean burger and a few people have commented on it's lack of flavour. I have felt ill ever since. Really disappointing.

The whole experience was completely faultless. We booked for the bottomless brunch for a birthday celebration and simply could not be more impressed. The service was exemplary, the food wonderfully tasty and filling and as for the cocktails - WOW!!! Great value at £35 per head with the staff making sure we were kept topped up with drinks and so friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough

This was our first visit to Framptons to eat although we we have been in for drinks and coffees many times. We chose pizza as there is a great Friday deal and we have not had pizza for some time. The pizzas are large with good topping so great value. Staff are very good and the only downside is the lack of real ales or even good craft beers so not a place to go for a beer any longer.

Lovely ambience and a genuinely nice place to meet with friends or for a business lunch. Highly recommended.

Me and my wife really love this place. We go for breakfast haven’t been close any other time as we aren’t really local. One of the few places where you actually get a hot breakfast really recommend!

Disappointed with our experience here for brunch. Coffees came out cold and the food was way below average for the price. Each of us had a different dish and none of it felt like it was freshly cooked but instead reheated to a warm (not hot) temperature, the bacon was burnt (not crispy but burnt), the ‘avocado ’ and ‘sun dried tomatoes’ with the poached eggs were not fresh and the avocado tasted like processed guacamole. It was also not reassuring to see the chef scrolling on his phone in the kitchen whilst preparing our breakfast, somewhat unsanitary. Sadly overall a disappointing experience and wouldn’t recommend for breakfast.

But the star of the show is their pizza, which is made in their own pizza oven. Their pizza is so good! You can't beat a Framptons pizza. You can enjoy a selection of beers, wines, and spirits, or try one of their cocktails. Their cocktails are made with fresh ingredients and expert skill. They are so good, you will want to drink them all! Framptons also has a great meeting space upstairs, where you can host your events and parties. I've used this for a number of business meetings. You can also order food and drinks from the downstairs menu. The space is perfect for any occasion. Framptons is a place for everyone. It caters for all ages and tastes, and has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You will always have a good time at Framptons. Keep up the good work guys!

Had a late staff Xmas party. Had room to ourselves upstairs n waiter, Lee, was very hospitable n joined in the party games. If you're wanting a venue where the staff aren't in your face, framptons is the place to be

Wow , myself and my wife went for breakfast at Framptons this morning and we are glad we chose to go there. I had a full plate & my wife had the light plate . It was so lovely and the nice with Frampton they let me change my mushrooms & tomatoes and swap it for 2 extra eggs , that made it for me . Amanda and chloe were so polite and friendly. Also we'll done to the chefs that cooked our breakfast. We will definitely be back and recommend to ours friends. 👌👌👏👏

Visited for breakfast and had good service and food. Only complaint is I ordered the pancakes without bacon but could oddly taste the bacon still whilst eating. I’m not a vegetarian so was ok with this but not a good idea to do.

Excellent location for a Christmas do - relaxed and stylish. Great vibe, friendly waiters - attentive and chatty - serving delicious food. Chocolate brownie with ice cream was a favourite!

Fantastic Christmas Party in the Function Room for Charity Christmas Team gathering. Huge thanks to the Framptons team for a wonderful evening, attentive bar staff, nothing too much trouble (thanks Dan) and servers (Chloe and Lee). Food was outstanding. Menu was interesting and catered for all dietary requirements. Cannot recommend more highly - everyone had a great evening.

Called in ' on a whim ' fantastic bar and restaurant. Very lively night but, all the staff were outstanding, food was first rate. If its a quiet night you can spend an hour browsing the quirky decor, would highly recommend calling in. I will be back next time I am in the area.

The food was good and staff freindly, nice place. There is a but, £50 for 2 cheese burgers with fries and a couple of beers is just too much in my opinion.

Booked the use of Framptons function room for an engagement party as we loved the locality and rustic charm it offered. Our barman/host for the evening was Lee and he went above and beyond to help us on the night. Super nice man and very efficient. All the food was great and a fantastic evening was had by all ❤️

The service was great, however the Korean chicken burger was incredibly watery and didn't taste of much, just fried chicken with a teeny bit of a spicy sauce, which was a shame, it looked delicious when it arrived.

Recently moved to the area and met a friend for lunch. Wasn’t sure where to go but to be honest there weren’t many options on a Sunday so we ended up in this lovely bar/restaurant…. although they had sold out of roasts at this time (the roasts looked bloody amazing by the way and will be coming back!) we were very impressed with the pizza and sides we ordered. The lady that served us Sophie was so pleasant, friendly and accommodating and it certainly added to the lovely experience we had. Will be back for sure x

Took my father for Sunday roast. We had a beef and chicken. I have to say they were first class. The food was absolutely delicious, plentiful, hot and presented impeccably. The service team were polite attentive and professional. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a really great visit. From opening the door and confirming the dog was welcome, the table service and attitude of the staff was 5 star. Dan, Josh and Amanda were so friendly and helpful. The food was really good quality and great atmosphere. Recommend the club sandwich if you’re hungry and vegetarian food my buddy had was awesome.

Ordered peach rocket and caramelised pecan salad. What I got….. soggy lettuce and watercress with burnt walnuts! The peach was there to be fair! Would rather have been told half of the salad was out of stock so I could order an alternative. If I did this in my business, I’d be had by trading standards. Staff were very pleasant however. Don’t think I’ll be returning any time soon.

Had Sunday lunch last weekend. And completely blown away. I had the beef roast with Cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets sides. Hands down best roast ever. Can’t recommend enough. Staff and atmosphere were perfect. But the food every bit on the plate had a lot of care and detail. Best roast ever.

We were in Ringwood for a lecture that started at 2:00 pm, so I tried to find a refined, pleasant lunch for noon. The Framptons New Forest website led me to believe that this was that type of place. Nothing was further from the truth. It was a grotty old pub with a, shall we say, less than refined clientele. Although Framptons took a reservation from me, when I got there they said they didn't serve lunch until 13:00, even though the online menu did not state that. Since the chef was in, he agreed to make me a salad (which was very nice, as salads go). But what I had hoped would be a lovely day out for us was a complete disappointment. Thank goodness the lecture was great, because the restaurant was not.

We had our wedding brunch at framptons and it was perfect. Josh was really helpful and made the process of arrangments so easy for us. The food was excellent and all our guests felt so comfortable and relaxed. Thank you all for the fantastic service. the brunch went so smoothly, It was just what we wanted for our wedding day!

Great little bistro/wine bar/lunch place

Great bar in little Ringwood, since the new owners have taken over you can tell the difference. The food is great, service standards are high and it’s a great atmosphere.

Visited for the 1st time yesterday, we stay in the new forest multiple times a year and will definitely be back. We went for a Sunday roast, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Me and my wife have had roasts in some top restaurants over the years and this was right up there as 1 of the best! The meat was juicy, potatoes crispy, and everything else tasty (you even get pigs in blankets). On top of this our daughter eat free. Great place and we will be back

Came with a group and was welcomed by the staff, service was great throughout with continuous consideration for our experience. Food was well presented and tasted great with consideration to allergens or alternative requests.

Had to write another review from one of my many trips to framptons. Came for brunch with my friend. Friendly staff as always. I had The One, it was delicious. Highly recommend. I will of course will be returning and recommend this place to everyone.

I had the pleasure of being the Coach driver for Framptons yesterday for their day out to Salisbury Races. The Manager Sophie was extremely friendly and helpful and exactly as a good manager should be, making sure her customers had a great time (after 10 years as a bar manager, this is sadly a rarity!). The customers attending the races were also a delight, so friendly and polite and making me wish I lived nearer to Ringwood to visit Framptons. There was a spare ticket to the races due to a no-show, so I was invited in with them and, upon dropping them back to Ringwood, I was invited inside the bar. The set up is lovely and definitely worth a visit, I was sad to only be able to have a quick pitstop. I was able to sample their delicious pizza too as they insisted I take a slice for my return journey. I'd definitely recommend visiting to anyone wanting some lovely food in a bar with a great atmosphere and friendly staff and locals. Thanks for a great day! Emily (Mortons Travel)

We stopped in for a bite to eat and a drink, the staff were friendly and the place was clean. The food was good, and the cocktails were great. The only downside was another customers dog kept barking, which became annoying.
