Great food, great service and lovely staff in a charming setting , full of character .

This is the second time we've popped in here, and it's still just as good as before . Good selection of food and cakes, including a good selection of gluten-free food,plus it's dog friendly . This, at present, will not be the last time we visit

Super cute little cafe off the High Street, lovely ambience. I had a cappuccino and a tomato, mozzarella and basil pesto panini with coleslaw. My husband had the full English breakfast. Very tasty food! The panini need some salt and pepper (I like my tomatoes to be seasoned within a sandwich), but was otherwise great!

Beautiful location, and very sweet coffee shop, such a shame that it was terrible coffee and the staff were miserable.. I wouldn’t come again.

Great, friendly, warm and with plenty of historic character. The Full English Breakfast was very good. Personally I'd like mushrooms too, but I was happy and will return. The Cappuccino was better than most and everything was served quickly.

Lovely little dog friendly café - and thankfully very friendly to humans too! Double shot cappuccino recommended, cake excellent and good value for money.

Tasty food and lovely drinks. Very rarely go out for lunch but this lovely local cafe is the best in Lymington 5🌟

It's a gem I should rave but . I don't think anybody who goes there once needs reminding to tell people of it's existence.

Visited twice last week. We sat outside on both occasions as the weather was warm. Really nice courtyard area to sit and it is very dog friendly. The waitress even brought out some biscuits for our dog. We had lunch on one day, sandwiches and tea and just cake and tea on the second visit. Very good quality food, service and nice surroundings. Will visit again and would recommend.

Tasty full English breakfast and very good value.

Delicious food in a sheltered setting away from the hustle and bustle of the high street. The young man that served our table was friendly and polite which further enhanced our visit.

finished off a long walk from Brockenhurst to Lymington at this cafe. We had been planning to go to another place, but we were happy to find this spot. It was a nice day so we took the seating outside. Seemed to be lots of space inside as well. We each had a toasted panini (mine with pineapple!) which was very delicious, with crisps and salad side included. The milkshakes were delicious, and the meal overall wasn’t too expensive! The cakes looked very nice however we did not sample!!

The location is very handy, next to the car park. Service was polite and helpful. The lunchtime menu was not large but adequate. The food, which arrived quickly, was very good and plentiful. The fudge cake will keep you energised for a week.

A really friendly welcoming place. We pop in for breakfast about once a week: sometimes a virtuous granola with yoghurt, sometimes an indulgent egg-and-bacon roll. Always fresh and tasty, with good quality coffee.

Sat outside in the sun this morning for a coffee while in Lymington. Fast, friendly service and special treatment for our dog. Recommended.

A warm welcome awaits you at this perfect little tea room. A great menu with many enticing choices. I had a cream tea and enjoyed every last crumb!

Good place to stop for cake and coffee.

The food amazing, service was efficient. Staff unfriendly, didn’t see any friendly interaction with customers the half hour we were there and not one smile given to a customer in that time. A real shame as if the staff were as amazing as the food, the atmosphere would be worth returning for …

A pot of tea and two lovely slices of home made cake. Young Sunday staff were polite and helpful. Reasonable prices as well. An independent worth a visit.

Unique little cafe which serves a very good lunch in a building that must have been built in the 16th century.

We had a lovely experience here.We both had a sandwich which was one of the best we have had in a long time. Lots of flavour & good presentation. The chocolate fudge cake was a delicious. Staff were very friendly. It was our first and will not be our last visit. Thank you.

Everything you could want. ! They don't do fast-food, however " Lounges" does prepare and serve freshly made food in a very comfortable atmosphere. 10/10.

We didn’t get a very friendly welcome which put us off straight away. Manners cost nothing, especially if I’m the one buying drinks in your establishment! All in all a bit flat and I wouldn’t be going back.

Stopped in for a hot chocolate and cake. The hot chocolate was immense, so smooth and tasty. Lovely gluten free lemon cake too. It's a little cramped in there, not much of an atmosphere. Polite staff.

Been coming to Lounges pretty much every week albeit except during COVID for about 5 years. Every time the food is great and the staff are always very friendly, would highly recommend! 😊

Visited here twice during our weekend stay, Saturday breakfast and Sunday brunch, and very good experiences on both occasions. Serving staff were youngsters yet very friendly and efficient. Despite being non-locals we appreciated the little professional touches. For example, the poached egg on my avocado on toast split, so they brought me an extra egg (not that I expected it)! Good food, great service, highly recommended.

What a great atmosphere in this small place that goes on and on back to seating outside behind. Staff super attitude and helpful start to finish. So much so it runs off on everyone to create a buzz. Food cooked perfectly and ingredients clearly not chosen by cost saving, but flavour. Brilliant way to keep customers coming back. Prices spot on well done. Will be back. Thanks to team.

The staff are always polite and genuinely seem happy to see you the coffee is really good the food is what I would call real food not pretentious with gluten free and vegetarian options you will be glad you popped in

My husband and I and two friends went here for lunch on Saturday I had the tuna, sweetcorn & red onion panini it came with coleslaw and leaves, 20 minutes after we left, I began to feel cramps in my stomach and sick, this continued until I went to bed, I woke up during the night rushing to the toilet which continued for 3 hours with hurrendose pains in my stomach, I do believe it was food poisoning from this Cafe, as I had not eaten anything before going there that day, my husband and friends were ok.

After a long journey to Lymington for the ferry to Isle of Wight a place to relax and enjoy a breakfast before we joined the queue to board the ferry with parking outside a lovely place to stop

Had coffee cream tea. Fabulous. Coffee was top notch and the scone and cream tea were soo yumm. Such a warm welcome including for our beloved pooch.

Lovely coffee shop. Friendly staff. Good coffee but amazing gluten free cake!!!! Fabulous - in fact it tasted like cake! Take away containers perhaps could use review as coffee leaked and polystyrene box for cake is perhaps not in keeping with the current demand for ecologically sustainable materials BUT in fairness I didn’t check in their recycling abilities.

I am 53, travelled to India and Africa and I have to say that I had the best pot of tea ever here! So much so I have just rung them up to ask the name! This was accompanied by afternoon where they even ask you what jam you would like with your scone!

Stopped off for a coffee and cake, quant and friendly. Quick service with a decent array of cakes, breakfasts, sandwiches and drinks. Been there on our annual visit's before, we shall return again 👍

The staff were friendly and the service was quick. However the café itself was cramped and the sandwiches were not particularly representative of the cost! (I could make better myself) my son's cheese and ham toastie was dripping in grease. It's not bad - but it's not worth the money either.

Hidden gem off the High Street. Very oldy worldly plus good food.

Lovely little restaurant in the Lymington high street. Made up of smaller cosy areas, so quite large without appearing to be. Friendly and quick service. Had a full English which was warm and tasty and a good Americano. Great prices. Busy but not full, everyone was happy in our area. Loved the snuggle corners with cushions. Good for a quick bite or lingering over a coffee or smoothie.

Very reasonably priced English breakfast and dog friendly.

Four of us had tea and coffee there. Our friends had a dog and it specifies it's "dog friendly"so that's why we selected it. It's snug and the staff are very helpful and good service. We only had teas and coffees but they were extremely good and we sat chatting for ages without any hint whatsoever of asking us to vacate the table once we had finished. Very nice place and we will go back.

Always good service and food and latte I travel down from Salisbury just for the experience, well worth a visit.

My husband & our dog Ozzy had a lovely time at Lounges of Lymington. Even though, it was busy the service that we received was excellent & we would certainly return when we're in the area again. It's great to find a dog friendly cafe with a cosy atmosphere.

Service was excellent. Cream tea was good but not outstanding but then I'm a cream tea lover.

There are definitely plus points to this cafe. It has tables outside that get sunshine. The staff are friendly. However the coffee is quite average and there are places close by that do a better cup. The cake is clearly made with vegetable oil rather than butter which makes it springy in a rather stiff unpleasant way. Not to my taste, but good if you're vegan.

We missed the crab sandwiches which sounded lovely but were sold out. We enjoyed a baguette and some interesting Panninis including Mozarella ham and pineapple which felt like a bit of a 1980s flashback!

I live locally and this was my first visit since lockdown - I like to support our local businesses. It was busy so we had to sit in the back room. The tables had been cleared but were covered in bits of food, as was the floor, and a load of sauce sachets had been swept into a corner. Yuk. It was beside the kitchen, which I hope was cleaner - we couldn’t talk when the blender was in use. I had a crab sandwich containing mashed crab, which was ok. My friend had a BLT. We won’t rush back.

Just popped in for coffee. Lovely service, friendly. Coffee was flavourful and hot. Food lunches looked lovely, toasties with salad and crisps. We didn’t eat but others looked happy. I always support local cafes.

Visited this teashop which is tucked away off the High Street. It was delightful. The food was nice and we sat outside in a little courtyard but inside looks nice too. Would recommend.

We stumbled across Lounges because it was near the car park, and I'm so glad that we did! I'm gluten intolerant (amongst other allergies), and I've never had the pleasure of choosing between so many different cakes that are ok with my dietary restrictions. There were at least seven different gluten-free cakes/flapjacks/scones!! I chose a GF and dairy-free chocolate fudge cake (pictured -- although the photo doesn't do it justice because I was too interested in eating it to focus on a photo). Lounges also offers gluten-free bread, so most things on the menu can be adapted to a gluten-free diet.To top it all, we were amazed at how reasonable the prices at Lounges were. They could easily charge more with the quality of the food and drinks, and very speedy service, but we were pleasantly surprised to get two lunches, a milkshake, pot of tea and a big slice of cake for under £20.If I'm ever back in the New Forest, I would travel to come back to Lounges!

Had occasion to visit here for the first time during a short visit to the area. Olde worldly, beams everywhere, service was good and staff were friendly. Would recommend.

This old tea room is very popular and we visited on a couple of occasions. Had coffe and cakes. Seating little bit too close for comfort but apart from that can thoroughly recommend

Due to no breakfast at B&B we had breakfast here everyday. Excellent fresh produce and value for money. Sunday seamed to be very busy so recommend you get there shortly after it opens.

Enjoyed our coffee time in the courtyard last Tuesday - thought about lunch later and returned to enjoy delicious sandwiches and salads inside. Lounges was beautifully clean, really friendly staff - felt safe in every way.

Tucked away in a pleasant courtyard, Lounges’ pleasant staff made a very positive impression. The food was simple, tasty and good value for money. We had bacon and egg sandwiches (it was breakfast time) - they hit the spot. Highly recommended.
