Visited for a quick coffee on 6.11.24. Excellent coffee best we’ve had in a very long time. Surroundings very clean. Would thoroughly recommend. Will be back again.

Charming, cozy little coffee shop in a lovely location on the high street. Staff are friendly and efficient but I found the prices to be a bit too high. It's a nice place for a treat, but not ideal if you're on a budget or looking for a regular shop for your daily coffee!

The Cellar Tasting House & Wine Merchant in Lymington is a hidden gem that offers a cosy and inviting atmosphere. The knowledgeable team, led by owner, provides personalised recommendations that cater to individual tastes and budgets. The establishment maximises its space with a well-curated shop, a welcoming bar, intimate upstairs nooks, and a charming terrace. The extensive selection of wines and gins is impressive, making it one of the few bars worth travelling over an hour to experience. For serious wine and spirit enthusiasts, this is a must-visit destination.

We'd heard about The Tinker's Granddaughter through a friend and so decided to try it out for ourselves and booked the Sunday Roast Club - we were not disappointed! The service was friendly and welcoming and the food was incredible. It was our first time trying Juicy Marbles steaks and I have to say, they were the best meat substitute I've ever had. The only downside was that the room was quite crammed. We ordered first and by the time our food was served, people were still queuing right behind us to order theirs - which I understand is unavoidable but did hinder the experience a bit. I also treated myself to a tiramisu to take away, which again was the best plant based tiramisu I've had. We loved the experience so much that we've already booked again for June!

You cannot open to the public when the temperature is SO low that the customers were all despairing and discussing their discomfort, rather than discussing the dining experience. Despite being told that the heating and convection fire were 'on', on approaching the heater we felt nothing. Food was satisfactory: quality ingredients no doubt but main course portions were small. £120 bought the worst dining experience I've had in over 50years of visiting recommended independent restaurants I AM sad to say, but I doubt that last night's valentine's meal at The Lanes warmed anyone's hearts.

Super little cafe with utterly delicious baked breads, pastries and buns. The sourdough loaves on their rustic shelves look & smell wonderful! Enjoyed a perfectly brewed coffee from their own roastery and a vanilla cream bun which was heavenly. The staff were so happy and friendly, I have to mention them all so thank you Harriet, Charlotte & Izzy - what a lovely little place!
