Went here for a Saturday night and it was great. Played pool on their table, drank some nice beer and lagers and listened to the DJ belting out some bangers which a lot of people were up dancing too so they were doing a good job. Then a nice tipsy walk to McDonald's for the anti hangover munch. 10/10

Perfect spot for a lovely coffee! Great food! Excellent customer service!! Well done to everyone! Ignor customer that they come there and pay 4,50 for a coffee and they think they own you for that money. They should be grateful that someone weak up at 5:00 a clock to be there for them and make them food and coffee.Thank you all for your effort.

There are two choices of cafe in Hookwood but we only ever go to Harris & Hoole - we generally go for breakfast on a Sunday just as the store opens when it's not too busy

might be a small Waitrose yet it is perfectly formed and has most of what you require. Great cafe and bakery

Lovely coffee shop with great view of the Dorking high-street. I regularly get drinks here from salted caramel frappes to English teas! Very family friendly as there’s a lift for push chairs/ wheel chairs so is easily accessible) with dogs welcome too. Staff are extremely friendly, always welcoming and homely. Easy and safe space to be in and know I’ll always get the service I want/need :) Would recommend!

Great lunch. One of us had the sausage and mash, delicious and generous portion size . I’m a picky gluten free vegetarian, wonderful choices for me, fig dish as a starter with local figs was a great combination of flavours. Will definitely return.

After changing many landlords, trying to be a posh restaurant, a pizzeria, a sports bar and just the village pub-which is what this establishment was most successful at (in particular during lockdown it provided a welcome chilling opportunity with its large beer garden and kids area) … this longstanding local pub has closed down. Bookham locals will miss its familiar band nights and outdoor summer time drinking

Very friendly pub. We visited on a weekend away. The landlady and landlord we’re brilliant. Told us what places to visit locally, where to eat and put the jukebox on for us with all our requested songs. Great night especially the cherry rum!!!!

I've visited this cafe many times over the years. The staff are always helpful and friendly, there is a good range of cakes and meals reasonably priced, with gluten free and veg options, and the coffee is lovely and hot! It's a pleasant place to sit looking out over the vegetation!

I wouldn’t stay again. Hopefully the pub is alright but the rooms just don’t do it for me. Cobwebs on the walls, dirty hand prints around the light switch, crumbs on the floor. Pillows were maybe as old as me and had no substance to them and whilst the bottom bed sheet was clean there was no top sheet, just a duvet which I felt had not been washed since the last guest, it didn’t smell fresh. At under £40 for a single room it could be considered good value but it’s not a place I will return to.

The manager, Mel, is amazing. She is so welcoming and efficient, and has trained her staff beautifully. She knows my regular order without me even having to order it! She manages a great team and should be highly commended for great leadership and customer service. Always a pleasure to visit.
