The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Mid Sussex South East

What an unfriendly owner for whom everything seemed to be far too much trouble. They moaned all the time they were making our drinks & just about through it at us when they eventually brought it over after leaving it behind the counter while a member of staff was being chastised. Never going there again!

I have visited Somers a few times now and every time the service, food and drinks have been perfect! I will definitely be making more visits in the future.

Amazing toasted sandwich and scone with fab flat whites, served by really good staff members Emily and Izzy, who made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be returning to try rest of menu 😋. 10/10

Do you struggle to find gluten free and/or vegetarian meals. Purple Carrot is the place to eat. Friendly welcome, good food. Reasonable prices. Coffee taste good too.

Always quick, great staff, good prices, great portions, tasty food. Never disappointed. Great breakfasts, omelettes, chips.

I think this place deserves more stars! The food is lovely, the staff are super friendly and the vibe is nice and chill. As a hgv driver it's hard to find decent food and I found this place by accident, I can sit at a lovely table and eat my meal. if I am ever in this area again...I will be back. I highly recommend it

The views are wonderful. It's clean and comfortable. We only wish they'd had more than just pizza on the menu (it was the afternoon). We will come again

The food was brought out quickly, it was hot and there are no complaints at all, the price for quality of food is really good. The staff were lovely, I wasn’t able to catch their names but they were friendly, easy to talk to and very welcoming ,both were woman, I believe one of them was younger with blonde hair, the other had brown hair and looked in her 30s - 40s, thank you for the good service :)!

adam pickard was great with serving me water i specified for melted ice and not water and that is what he gave. the lengths he went too to give great service was awesome. i really recommend coming here as he was the best u could get😉. never the less he is a awesome bartender and shows great work behind the counter. quick service and efficient in the work he produces. We LoVe YoU aDaM !!!

Excellent service, large hospitable village pub. Only pub in centre of village. Friendly locals and very kindly staff. All year round Badger beer on tap, with seasonal offerings. Much overlooked for more glitzy contemporaries. Needs more Patrons. Come support it or it will close.

Very pleasant cafe. Reasonably priced. Very high quality smoothy.

The roast dinners served were either overcooked or uncooked. The beef was far too tough to chew, the vegetables were either burnt on the outside and dry in the middle-over -cooked or uncooked. I specially said I was coeliac which the waitress made a note of. They specifically brought my food down the stairs instead of using the food lift, which was considerate but sadly I have had a horrible reaction, meaning my food either had gluten in it or it had been cross-contaminated with foods which have gluten in. So disappointed as the service from the waitresses were excellent and the decor and atmosphere of the pub is friendly, clean and warm.

Banging Buffalo chicken burger and chips for reasonable price! Friendly, helpful staff, lots of different seating options indoors and outside. Very close to East Grinstead / Bluebell Railway station.
