Splendide petit déjeuner. Je recommande l’avocado splash, un toast avec un avocat surmonté d’un œuf poché et servi avec des tomates cherry et des graines de courges sautées et cuisinée. L’egg Benedict est aussi incroyable. Le café expresso est savoureux. L’ambiance et l’atmosphère est une immersion délicieuse dans la vie d’un petit village anglais. Cosy and vivid!

We wanted to say a HUGE thank you, to Jamie, Krysia, Nikky, Steph, Sarah, Gill and the whole team for making our wedding the best day ever! From the moment we chose Pangdean we felt relaxed and nothing was too much trouble. We had so much fun, and our guests are still raving about how great the food and staff were and how stunning the venue looked! Such a joy to find this little place. The food has that home-made nourishing feeling to it – really tasty and satisfying. The location, right by Devil's Dyke, is idyllic. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Lovely to sit outside and soak up the sun in its laid-back atmosphere.

Great place with gluten free options. Feel like they are missing a trick with the pizza selections. Had to customise. Some beef / chicken pizzas without pork would open up to more customers who don't want to compensate and go veggie. Apart from that. Great experience.

On a recommendation, we had Hampers cater for our 40th wedding anniversary. Bob came and set up the food for us that time and everything, the quiches, the sausage rolls, the scotch eggs, the sandwiches, the salads.........., everything, was perfect. Ten years on and who could we possibly ask to cater for our Golden Wedding? Luckily Bob is still the friendly and professional person he was for our 40th. The quality of his food hasn't changed either. Every one of our guests, without exception, remarked about just how nice everything was, not just in appearance but in taste, texture, everything. He even opened his shop especially on a Sunday morning so that I could go and collect the it.

What an amazing find. Came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Mum & I had the most fabulous afternoon tea. Kathryn was a fabulous host. The sandwiches were freshly made, the scones & cakes absolutely delicious and the mini trifle was beyond delicious with endless amounts of tea! We will be returning soon!

2nd time in one year we have gone to the Tea rooms having checked the website saying it is open only to find it shut. Would helpful if they updated the website. Thank goodness for Halfmoon and Balcombe stores for sustanance for our walk.

Had delivery for a lunch meeting at work in Haywards Heath today and the food was fantastic, thank you to Go Gourmet. Will definitely recommend and will use again.

Enjoyable visit and friendly staff. Opted for the full English breakfast which was excellent. Good choice of hot and cold drinks and a varied menu to cater for all.

I was disappointed in the Crown Inn as a place to stay overnight. I wanted to be close to Horsted Keynes railway station (5 minutes by car) in order to be there by 6.30am for an early morning photo charter. So, I arrived at the inn around 5pm on Sunday night to be told 'we don't serve food after 4pm on Sunday'. And apparently other pubs in the area didn't either. 'And we cannot do breakfast as early as 6 am.' It would have been good to have known because I would have stayed somewhere else that had more flexibility. My room was small. clean, recently refurbished with a comfortable double bed, flat screen TV, small bathroom with shower, tea and coffee facilities, small wardrobe, hair drier and two bottles of water. But nowhere to use as a desk. The guest wi-fi was non-existent and I had to come down to the bar for another wi-fi connection. That one did work in my room but was quite slow. I paid £103 for bed only. I did not feel this was good value. I was annoyed that the lack of food wasn't highlighted in the information provided when I booked. And I thought the room was at best average and not worth what I paid. It is rare for me to write such critical reviews, and I don't like doing it. I think the management need to make their information much clearer.

Great toasted breakfast ciabattas in the February sunshine. We had some time to kill on a sunny afternoon in Haywards Heath before our B&B opened. We wandered in to the park after seeing a sign for the cafe. There was some outdoor tables in the sunshine, we never noticed an in door space. The quality ciabattas with fried egg, sausage and bacon hit the spot that was needed. The tea pot with its knitted cosy was amusing as we took in the gentle sunshine.

Lovely food, helpful and friendly staff. It was a wonderful experience with a fabulous variety of options
