The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Castle Hastings South East

I had the Chef’s Special sandwich (bacon, halloumi & avocado) which was really delicious. And my cappuccino was just perfect too.

I have visited several times and keep coming back because it can be relied on to be great tasting food, great service and atmosphere - great price too. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

The Coffee Pod is one of several coffee stops on Hastings seafront open from 8am (see also “Goat Ledge Café” and “Starsky and Hatch”) but has the disadvantage that it is exposed to the elements (wind, rain etc). After seeing a lot of good reviews online decided I must try and visit. In the end we visited twice: once of an early morning coffee, then again for an ice-cream one afternoon. The Coffee Pod seems to be part of Goodmans Barbers and Coffee Spot which is situated in The Courtyard nearby and also on St Leonard’s seafront.

It's been a long time since our last visit and it has changed so much. The plants were very well laid out and easy to find particular types. A large selection of all was available. The Restaurant was something I did not expect. The quality of food was outstanding. Large choice and quickly ,freshly prepared. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. We had 2 rounds of sandwiches which came with chips and a side salad. It really was a main meal. A good selection of drinks were available including alcoholic drinks. I'm sure we will visit again soon.

Food was cold when we received it

Great old style cafe/bakery foods good and at a decent price also got some tasty treats to bring home with us very yummy .Definitely recommend we always come here when in Hastings.

Freezing cold in resturant so sat with my coat on, so did every one else! Burger was ok nothing special, small burgers. Had no potatoes tots so ordered french fries but all you could taste was the thick layer of salt.

Our freshly made drinks were up to the usual good Caffe Nero standard. The staff were friendly enough. The seating was comfortable enough. However, the toilet facilities could have been cleaner (water on the floor) and there were quite a number of people apparently "working from home" and were having loudish telephone conversations.

Went in today and found it to be very dirty with extremely sticky floors and toilets full and not been cleaned! This then put me off purchasing anything in here including the beer! If they can’t clean the toilets and stairs then do they clean behind counter and their lines!!

Fries were raw, jacket potato with shrimp still frozen on the inside. En pie was tough and barely warmed up in the microwave. Glasses dirty and tables sticky. I've never had such bad food.

I had a very good experience. Food was absolutely spot on and was absolutely delicious, couldn’t fault it what so ever. The young man was very polite and always served with a smile! Handy to have a date issued newspaper everyday to read too! Must better atmosphere and food since this young man has taken over! Keep doing what you’re doing! I will be back, all the best!

Disgusted by Lee Murphy's behavior tonight, a complete disrespect to this company. As someone who has spent a lot at this club, you have lost my business forever.
