The best restaurants in Castle Hastings South East

Dropped in on a whim and were so pleasantly rewarded with cracking food and generous portions. The beetroot, apple and smoked eel salad was a stunner and we loved the perfectly cooked asparagus and garlicky spaetzle too. Really glad we went - recommend

Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing service, amazing decor, amazing...Everything! Will definitely come back here again! Giving this cafe a 5 star review feels like an insult! It deserves more than a five star! 10 out of 10 experience and i will definitely recommend!

Fantastic! This is our go to breakfast place when we visit Hastings. Food is delicious and well presented. The staff are kind and polite. We look forward to visiting Yaaze Cafe again and again!

Really lovely family restaurant with delicious home made food. A great find!

We were blown away by the Courtyard, it’s an uncut gem! We explored the old Roman bathhouse within where we found the mosaic plunge pool and the refurb-in-progress back room. I will be coming back again soon to see what Brewing Brothers have done to it, as well as to enjoy the locally made craft beer and fresh pasta. Bellissimo!

We had a delicious 4 course meal, beautifully presented by polite staff. We will definitely be back and will recommend Coast restaurant.

As a wheelchair user I find access a problem so was delighted to spot this cafe. I went in placed my order without bashing into furniture, my smoothie was brought to me outside & it was the best smoothie I've had in years.... Owner came to ask if I needed anything else which was really nice.... 100% be returning for lunch very soon. Helpful, friendly, clean, good value & my fav MANGO Smoothie.

Has started to become a little expensive , it really bugs me when the baguettes are over filled with lettuce and filling just laid across the top .

Victoria's Novelty Birthday cake made a 4 year old little girl very happy, it was excellent. The chocolate sponge was to die for, all the guests loved it. Would highly recommend her services

Great pizzas, Awful staff. The staff were making unkind comments about customers. We were instantly met with a poor attitude by one of the female members of staff. The male members of staff stood joking around at others expense instead of serving.

Beautiful and loving cafe. If I could I would give 10 stars. Caroline and her team were my personal highlight in Hastings. Homemade cakes, wonderfully delicious teas, incredibly nice people and a wonderful ambience. We were there twice, once just tea and cake, banana bread, oat-berry cake, Maltese cake, ... warm sandwiches. Then the next day - you have to reserve at least 24-48 hours in advance - an afternoon tea. With homemade small cakes, scones and savory slices of bread. Even the toilets are unique, with a collection of old mirrors. Caroline & team, we thank you!!!

Very slow serving of food and drinks. Food was very dry and not flavoursome. Everything was very expensive for the quality. Staff was on their phones and shouting to one another across the resturant. Will not be visiting again.

Delicious oven baked fish dishes! Service was great.
