We had a gorgeous meal here. The food was wonderful, very fresh and tasty, and we were given lots of help choosing wine. Would really recommend. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Last evening in the UK tomorrow we return to Syracuse, what a joy

Amazing food, with generous portions and incredibly delicious. Beetroot salad with horseradish and dill was a revelation! We needed a side order of bread at the end in order to mop up all of the beautiful sauces/juices 😍

Delicious food and service. The chef forages a lot of local ingredients and we learnt about new wild ingredients which was a lovely bonus.

Found this place completely randomly by just walking past it and after a long cycle ride from London this was exactly what we needed. Fresh, creative and delicious food that is made with high attention to details. The Panna Cotta was out of this world. Highly recommend this place! Go go go!

We went as a group before a wedding and it was honestly spectacular! The anchovies were amazing. Really great food and natural wine at a very reasonable price for what you get. Will definitely be back thank you!

Really stunning food in Hastings today! Wavey Bar served up beautiful plates of Huss fillet, Huss crudo, Steak and pickles that were all delicious with a real depth of flavour. Steak perfectly seasoned. Sat in the sun with great company. A must visit.

Such a hidden gem in Hastings/St Leonard’s. Incredible food with some of the best flavour combinations I’ve ever tasted. The Huss in particular was stand out. Plus wonderful service and a chance to chat to the chef in the open kitchen.

Wavey bar is the spot! Great atmosphere and outstanding food. The menu is curated to offer something for everyone from fish and meat dishes to vegetarian only. The produce tastes extremely fresh and you can tell a lot of love goes into each dish. We had great hospitality and the wine selection was great. Thank you so much guys.

Gorgeous small plates and great drinks options

Whenever I meet people visiting the area, this is the first place I recommend to them. The food is exceptional and Kasper and Misha are a delight. They always have great wine, cider and beer and if you're lucky, vodka shots! We're lucky to have Wavey Bar in our town. A must visit.

Really special food, made with care and passion, plus interesting wine and cocktails. Knowledgeable hosts in an intimate setting. Look forward to returning for the ever changing menu.

My boyfriend and I have been to Wavey before and after having lunch there today, it's confirmed as one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is not only delicious, but fresh and creative. The menu changes to reflect seasonal produce but Kaspar and Misha's flavours and style persist. I also love the vibe of the place; With bright colours, funky tumbler glasses and cool music, I feel like I'm getting the whole Wavey experience. It never fails to feel like a special treat and yet it's affordable and unpretentious. Please venture out and try Wavey bar for yourself!

Came for a beer. The lady was cooking, I asked for beer promoted of the board outside and she literally laughed at me and said they didn’t have them… she didn’t wash her hands, got 2 beers out of the fridge, offered us glasses we said yes but she didn’t get them for us. £11

What a great little restaurant putting out small plates of lovely flavoursome food in the court yard…. Beef with buck wheat was very nice, hispi cabbage was amazing, heirloom tomatoes so tasty. Plaice was ok, not sure it went with beans. Will definitely go back!

Came here a couple of weeks ago, singularly failed to take any photos of the food, as we were so busy stuffing our faces. But check out their instagram- they have a constantly changing menu of small plates- locally sourced ingredients, cooked with love, (with a Baltic/Slavic influence?), and expansive, original, imaginative flair... I guess the only drawback is that if you are like me and like to try *everything*, having lots of small plates does add up- so maybe go with lots of friends and be prepared to get stuck in! If these guys did a tasting menu/ supper club I’d be right in there. Also, final bonus point- they are genuinely dog friendly and really love dogs, bringing them treats and water (& giving strokes). Thanks for a great meal! We’ll be back.

Been here twice recently and the food is outstanding. We're blessed with so many wonderful restaurants in Hastings, but the food here is something quite special.

Small plates, incredible flavour combinations, quality, local produce all put together with care and attention to detail plus fantastic service. If you love food, this place will not disappoint! Go!

Knockout food and drinks, tucked under Hastings promenade. The chef has been staring in various venues throughout Hastings and has finally the opportunity to showcase his capability in his own restaurant. Sampled a variety of dishes and all were something to write home about. A must visit 👌🏻

Food is great, everything we’ve had over the last few visits has been so good. The owners forage or grow a fair amount of the ingredients they use, and are really passionate about the quality of food they serve

Incredible experience! Amazing testing dishes and lovely welcome. We had a lot and it’s difficult to pick the best… sea bass crudo maybe? Or tomatoes and bottarga? Or chicken piccata?! Too hard to decide! Highly recommend!!!

I’d give this place 6 stars if I could. The food is incredible - they do small plates using fresh local ingredients, with vegetarian and vegan options. They also do these snack things called Gildas that you have with a shot of super chilled polish vodka, which is a must-try. The staff are lovely too - good vibes all round!
