Exceptional Sunday roast. Best I've had for many years. Every bit of it faultless

What a fantastic pub! Great Beer and the food is a surprise! Singapore inspired food which is a mix of Chinese, Thai and Malay. This is my new fave pub as it has everything.

The food....amazing. Very very very scrumptious and delicious. I don't normally eat pork ribs but that coffee sauce...omg...bit orgasmic. The cloudy cider is something else! Worth every penny, and those penny's are valuable these days.

Nice quiet pub just off Hastings sea front. People were nice and helpful. Would go back.

Cool pub, good drinks and yummy food

Top tier Guinness accompanied by a classical pub atmosphere, paralleled with great food makes for a great surprise in Hastings. Don’t be judgemental go to Hastings… beach first seadog second. Maybe avoid the dog friendly crime museum. Unless you need the loo.

Poped in for a quick pint on route to the station. I was a bit doubtful as I seem to remember this place used to be a bit grim, but if it was, it's not anymore. Nice and cosy with a back room with a real fire. One real ale and one real cider on cask, others on keg. Didn't have food, but the Sunday roasts looked good. Most of the tables in the front were reserved, so it must be popular.

Magnificent little pub with the most amazing Thai food.

What a lovely place to spend a winter birthday or any day, with the fire and friendly atmosphere. Couldn't have been better.

Great little pub, the Seadog lager is good and the food is phenomenal. Staff are all friendly and helpful and the vibe is local. Dogs welcome too.

Epic Sunday lunch, by far the best in Hastings and St.Leonards. Beautifully cooked food, gravy to die for and all serviced with a smile. You have to book, because it’s so busy now. But do book, you won’t be disappointed!

A great Hastings pub! Definitely recommend booking on a Sunday, as the place was rammed. Service was great (despite the dishwasher flooding the kitchen and causing a bit of a delay on food). A great range of craft beers too, and affordable!

Booked here for a lunch and it was gorgeous. We booked a table in the back room and it was really cos and quiet with a fire on. Our dog loved it. We had both types of wings, both types of dumplings and loaded fries and it was all so delicious. The portions are huge too. Wonderful hidden spot!

Cannot begin to explain just how good the food is here. If you’re a fan of SE Asian flavours and want a cosy and friendly atmosphere - this is the place. One of the best pubs in the new town.

Absolutely amazing food!!! Had the singaporean cereal prawns, malaysian chicken wings and butter chicken with rice. I would happily eat it every day! Loved the atmosphere ❤️beer was good too :) You have to order your food at the bar.

I came here yesterday and the food is incredible. It's a little hidden gem that I only just found. The place itself is unbelievably clean and even the toilets are gorgeous. I will definitely be back thank you

Nice, cosy, welcoming pub, visible from Hastings railway station. There’s a decent range of craft beers, ciders and lagers, including a sour. Next time will have to try the food (appreciate the name Orchard Road - Singapore’s main shopping mall district - as it’s pan-Asian food with a Singaporean influence)!

I've enjoyed a drink at The Seadog a few times now, and the atmosphere there has always been fantastic. Its location also means that it's really easy to get to the train station afterwards. I'm yet to try any of the food there but will aim to do so on one of my next visits!

Gorgeous little pub we just happened to chance upon. Didn't stay long but loved every moment we were there. Super dog friendly, great atmosphere and omg, one of the best local Pilsners I have ever had. Wish we'd eaten there too as the food looked amazing.

This pub by the station in a previous incarnation used to be a bit rough. It's now totally transformed and a delight. A fantastic range of beers, lovely service and an interesting food menu, which I will definitely try next time I'm in Hastings.

We were walking around Hastings without a plan, basically just passing through, and as if by chance we found this wonderful pub. Beer on tap to try out, in abundance, something for everyone. The taste of the food was hard to describe in words. Just lovely. The entire crew was also extremely friendly, courteous and attentive. We wish this pub continued success and always nice guests. At the end there was even a live band playing...it couldn't be better. Saying goodbye to England/Wales is now even more difficult.

This place was recommended by friends and it’s absolutely brilliant. A great mix of people from all walks of life which I really like. Toilets are very clean.

Very good food stopped by chance and will definitely be going often. Bao buns where amazing and the best roti I have ever had!

Great, friendly place that welcomes dogs! Has a lovely food menu. The only thing is, if they could expand the gluten free offer because it's always sold out! (So it must be good eh?)

Simply THE best roast in town. Superb meat from beak and tail down the road. All the veg is flavored to perfection, portions were ample and the staff a delight. Go now, you won't regret it.

We enjoyed our final drinks in this lovely place before heading to the train station nearby. What a perfect place to say goodbye to Hastings (beautiful city) with a pint. Good choices of ales and drinks, served by a nice staff behind the bar. We didn't try the food but the smells of meals being cooked were very tempting. Thanks

What an incredible pub, must be the best in Hastings. Food was immense, incredible quality Asian Street food. Chicken wings, Baos and dumplings all excellent but highlight was Singaporean Cereal Prawns. Really good beers, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Can't wait to return

Always a good selection of craft ale with a couple of cask on. All well kept although a tad pricey.

We came across this place just walking around the town. The smell from outside was enough for us to book a table. I can certainly say we wasn't disappointed with the food it was super tasty, good portion size. Definitely value for the money and a great atmosphere. The next time I'm down there I will definitely visit again

A great like place to either start at or finish at when getting the train into Hastings.

This is one of the most underrated pubs in Hastings. Definitely should be on the radar of many more people. I'm in my 50s, and the younger punters are so friendly. I remember it when it was Frank's front room . Definitely hasn't lost its quirky cool charm . I always pop in when I'm anywhere near the station. It's such a shame. Hastings isn't all like this! . It's all downhill to the town centre!!! From here . The staff are friendly and cool 😎

What a great place this is. You can tell you're on to a winner when the punters are lovely people who are very comfortable chatting to newbies. The food was delicious, I had the noodles with char sui pork, my wife had the rendang. Spot on. A great beverage selection too. Overall a very pleasant experience. Cheers 🍻

Food advertised on menue was not avaible and a place with the name Seadog, would have more traditional british pub food.

Exellent pub with great Sunday roasts and a variety of food menus. They have a pub quiz on Mondays and do the best bao buns in Hastings! Very warm and welcoming with lots of tables and chairs inside and some outside seating too. Good selection of drinks and its a real traditional pub very close to Hastings Station. Perfect if you need to wait for a train

The wine was good value and a nice drinking every day house white starters where good and tasty - my chicken curry was void of flavour watery- oily sauce quite disappointing I told the server to pass it on to the COOKS , we where sitting next to the service hatch and heard in a very loud vice " some people don't appreciate good food " well if you give me tasty food I would have appreciated it " Work on the curry sauce boy's and you might get a better review in future . All in all a wast of my money .

Great pub near to railway station.. Has it's own brew larger... Nice comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff and generally a pleasant place to sink a few pints which cost around £5 each.

Easy 5 stars. Great service. Really well thought out ever changing and adventurous beer menu and all as fresh as a daisy. Nice to see beers at both ends of strength spectrum with a cracking alcohol free alongside a great impy stout.

Absolute cracker of a pub just opposite Hastings station so a great first stop if you’re visiting. It was recommended to me by a local who knows I love good craft beer. A great small selection of keg here. The food was amazing too. I think they use long stay pop ups. The Asian street food was amazing. The loaded fries were something special.

Really impressed with the authentic dish black pepper King prawns. The chef added noodles and turned this starter into a main dish. So contientious and personally served. I can't ask for any better. Would recommend with out any hesitation. Will come back to this cosy friendly place. We'll done !

Excellent brunch menu and the beer selection is top notch, with plenty of cask and keg options as well as a very well stocked fridge. Highly recommended.
