Welcoming owners, nothing was too much trouble. What could be better than sitting practically on the beach on a very sunny day sipping our lager & prosecco! Music was pretty cool too. Thoroughly recommend

Lovely coffee and chilled brazilian music vibe

By far the best all-round venue along the Hastings / St Leonards coast... Great variety of entertainment including great resident & guest DJs & bands, pop-up food stalls as well as their own excellent local menu catering for all, with a huge variety of food & drinks, cold glass of measure-displayed wines or beers served by friendly staff & a cheeky smiling owner, and great novel touches with service that always goes beyond expectation. Blessed to have them on our doorstep :)

Regularly visit here. Food is great, staff are friendly and helpful and music is fab.

Stopped for a small bite but really enjoyed the vibe and the service was 10/10. Can't wait to go back and try something new.

Chilled St leonards seafront shack cafe and bar selling unusual pastries and good coffee. Colourful seating gazebos some with deck chairs, great place for breakfast on a sunny day.

Had a lovely coffee seated on the beach chair for a break. The food looked delicious but the diet wouldn't allow it. Really polite lovely fella serving. Wll definitely go back on my next beach walk.

Found this place this morning, absolute fantastic little place right on the beach front. Lovely coffee and very tasty breakfast sandwich called “the full shack.” Jeremy (the owner) was very friendly and had a lovely chat. Will definitely come again when we visit Hastings. Lovely little gem of a place and well worth a visit

Lovely food, great product, haven for those of us that need sourdough. The price is ultra reasonable and the coffee blend that they produce is just perfect.

Has become part of our pub mooch home along the seafront. Fantastic weather, which is always a bonus when drinking outside. I'm sure if we were a big group, then 2 the atmosphere would be a 5*.... no offence, wifey 😉

Probably the best outside seaside spot, it says cafe but they also serve beer , cider and wine. The pastrys were excellent, beer cold and sunshine warm, their Neipa ale perfect, the silly moo cider goes down well. They had some nice tunes playing but at that perfect not to loud we can chat volumes. Some days they have a DJ too. Nice outdoor covered areas to eat or drink. Dogs are very welcome, they even have a wall of photos of the dogs that visit. This is my favourite of the venues along this stretch of beach. Family run and always friendly.

So... I've just had a early morning dip in the sea, feeling refreshed and sereen. To complete this, a lovely coffee with avacado on sour dough bread looking out to the sparkling sea.... The music soothing my soul.... At a reasonable price. Thank you BEACH CAFE!

Being gluten intolerant, i recently discovered that I could eat Sourdough bread. Much to my surprise and glee I have just enjoyed the best lightly toasted cheese and tomato Sourdough sandwich ever. This is an amazing place, the food and drinks menu are substantial for such a small place Seating outside is of benches and deck chairs and there are clean toilets next door.

This place is fab. Staff, DJ's, seating... it just Rick's what lazy sunny afternoons are about. I love it here. Grab a beer (or cocktail, wine, coffee) and sit back and relax into summer.

Love it! Brilliant location right on the beach. Limited food options, but plenty of tasty snacks like sausage rolls to accompany your beer! Wide range of drink options from coffee through to ale and lager. Staff are great.....I managed to knock my beer over, and one of the Beach Cafe people topped it up with no charge, which is a lovely gesture in this day and age! The tables and benches are sheltered from the sun, so all-in-all, the Beach Cafe is the perfect place to stop for a while when you are out walking along the beach front!

Cracking little spot for coffee and a home made mince pie in December. We even had Carol singers in traditional costumes to entertain us.

Had the broccoli beat smoothie. Unfortunately the beast had left the building and a rather small smoothie unloaded £3.50 from my wallet. There are far better places to go, some very nearby.

Our first time to walk the lower promenade at St. Leonards and found the Beach Cafe. We had a cappuccino and a black americano and the coffee flavour was outstanding. Shared a lemon and poppy seed muffin - fantastic. Loud but really good old rock music. Will be going back.

This is the second time I have been here and its absolutely brilliant!. My partner and I are both Vegan they have a great selection of vegan foods which tastes amazing and importantly the pricing structure is perfect compared to other local estbalishments. The owner is very nice and friendly will definitely recommend and will continue coming back.

This place has to be my favourite spot in St Leonards. You're right by the beach so you can look out to sea as you drink a delicious pint and enjoy the excellent music. When the sun is shining, there is no better place to be. It's also fantastic value for money. The food and beer are top notch but the best thing about it is the owner, who is super friendly and makes you feel very welcome.

Great to be able to sit and look at the sea whilst having a great cup of coffee. Very friendly staff and great to see new outdoor seating areas coming along. We'll be back 😊👍

Best coffee in Hastings & St Leonards. This quaint cafe is directly on the seafront between Hastings and St Leonards. The coffee is by far the best in town! Lovely bacon bap too. Great space to have a cocktail in the sun 🍹 their mojito is a must try! Tables and benches to sit and listen to their great music. Highly recommended
