Absolutely outstanding great service and wonderful food definitely worth a visit you will not be disappointed

Don’t bother if you have any dietary restrictions. There were five of us looking for brunch, walked in to an almost empty cafe, to ask about whether they offer gluten free options. As soon as I said the word gluten there was an immediate shake of the head and a “no”. Totally uninterested in accommodating dietary needs and clearly didn’t want our business. There are many regular breakfast items that are GF, (bacon, hash browns, eggs etc), but presumably they just couldn’t be bothered with any hassle. If you’re looking for somewhere that will cater, go to the Grumpy Cook just round the corner. Giving two stars as seems unfair to give one when we didn’t actually eat in there.

Asked for a cheese salad baguette I’ve got yesterday’s warmed up chewy soft baguette, cheap packet, white tasteless cheese, one slice of tomato and a shredded piece of lettuce no cucumber no onion no anything that would contribute towards the salad not good quality at all

I went alone and it was my first try. The food was delicious. It was the best coffee I have ever had in Hastings. The staff was very polite, helpful and friendly. I am thinking of going again with my friends.

Fantastic breakfast, good portion size and cooked to perfection. The Weiner was very impressive!! Perfect for a Sunday morning hangover. Will definitely be back on my next visit to Hastings.

Sooo delicious! The service was Uber quick and the food did not disappoint.

Disappointing experience today, will not be returning. Previously received table service, cafe is quiet today, sat awkwardly waiting to be served then ordered at counter. ‘Sometime we serve, sometimes not’ she said. Unfortunately I did not have telepathic powers today. She made me get own drink, had to ask for glass. Had lovely breakfast, not cheap though. Then…3 people come in and get table service and a smile! No questions asked. No waiting for them. I am very upset and tbh take this quite personally. Face does not fit. Plenty of other cafes I will go to in the future. Not this one.

The food here is absolutely amazing. If I lived in or near Hastings I'd go here alot. We had 6 different dishes and all were cooked perfectly and quick. Great place

Impossible for words to describe the deliciously scrumptious breakfast these people make. First ordered one to home then went in there to eat. Happy smiley faces quick service beautiful drinks and a right handsome bit of tucker. 10 out of 10 at least someone in hastings knows how to cook properly . Love it

Had a couple of hours to kill by the seafront and literally just google maps’ed nearby eateries and came across this place. So glad we did, food absolutely delicious and service really quick and friendly. Prices were reasonable for the portion sizes, and we even had sunshine which was an added bonus. Shame we don’t visit Hastings very often but next time we do will definitely be back here to eat. 🙌🏻

I wanted to live less than one. Actually had the audacity to tell me, extremely rudely my order is wrong and it's MY FAULT!!! ME!!! I SCREWED THE ORDER UP!! the rudest service I have ever received. STEER WELL CLEAR!!!!!!! DO NOT YOUR MONEY.

Sick as a dog after eating from an apparently nice to eat place only to spend days of regret after. Bad food. Lied about ingredients or very bad at cooking. Neither of us are our meals and the coffee was disgusting .don't waste your time on pretty renovations.

Very poor service we ordered a delivery from them when the food arrived it was missing an entire meal I called the cafe to be asked would you like to order through Uber I then had to explain that I had already ordered and it was missing they then suggested ordering again and they would send it why would I want to give them more money for stuff not to arrive the lady on the phone didn't care and didn't even try to apologise

Food is quite nice. The chicken is processed though, not like nice actual chicken. And could have atleast put in some guacamole with quasadilla or option to add atleast even if I paid a bit extra but nothing, so turned out a bit plain. Was alright though.

Ok food, terrible service. I went in today and the hot chocolate and panini were ok, though I was charged extra for soya milk. The service, however, is awful. It is pretty small and there were at least 2 servers working but it still took them over 25 minutes to notice I was sat with an empty plate, waiting to pay. I was going to have a cake too, but didn't want to give them more money, plus I was a bit worried about just how long it's be waiting. The servers were within veiw the whole time, just stood chatting to each other. It took so long for them to notice, the table of 5 next to me were able to receive and finish their meal. I shan't be returning unless I have an entire day to kill.

What a lovely team at this café. We ordered a takeaway lunch and it was all beautifully packed and tasted great on the beach! Nothing fancy, just good service, good food and good price - we'll be back!

Arrived just after they opened. Warm welcome. Order small English breakfast and it was still huge. Well cooked and presented. Not evenly hot but I prefer not to burn my mouth! Too many baked beans for me & my husband.

Absolutely ridiculous. Dont order. I ordered breakfast that never came, after an hour they said its leaving now when it wasn't 2 hours later when I phoned they still didn't deliver and only gave a partial refund.the woman could barely string a sentence together so not suprised

We stopped here for breakfast before doing some shopping. For some reasons not every cafe opens early for breakfast luckily thus one does. Service was good and staff were friendly. Food and drinks turned up quite quickly and was nice. You don't get a drink included with the price of a breakfast but it's not a big problem. The Mrs loved the fact that they do a build your own breakfast, she doesn't do eggs or tomatoes so being able to choose what you want is ideal.

Lovely Turkish owners/staff who are very welcoming and friendly. A great menu and not expensive at all. The quesadillas are amazing and they do a lovely chai latte too. :) inside and outside seating. what more could you want ( but please please make us Lahmucan haha)

Had an amazing breakfast there with my partner on the bank holiday Sunday. We both had a castle breakfast, which was nice and hot. The staff were very helpful and looked after us. If we are in Hastings again, we will defiantly be revisiting. A nice little gem of a breakfast cafe.

So enraged. This was supposed to be a messy burger costing 7.20, chips costing 2 20 for a handful of chips and a baguette nearly 4 quid. It was all cold, and so dry you cudnt swallow it. Nasty food. Tried to ring them but they won't answer phone. It took one and half hrs to get here as well.. Shocking food. Never again

Nice little cafe, great food and lovely staff

Needing lunch which was something different from ‘Fish & Chips’ we came across this cafe. The menu choice was excellent, with a choice of both filling and lighter options, from a simple wrap to cooked food with fries. The service was both prompt and friendly and the price reasonable. If in Hastings again I would revisit.

a lovely cafe, i sure hope my kids & my grandkids will come here someday (when they are born) and sip the same coffee and EAT!...the same bacon sarnie, that I just had. Absolutely insatiable!

After an hour late I rang the cafe I was told it was not their problem they could not contact the delivery driver?I later found my food dumped in my front garden freezing cold.Imature staff totally unprofessional

First went here 18mths ago with my sister and we had a great meal and laugh with the staff, really dig the retro cassette tape toilets! I come here regularly now. Always great food, good, friendly service and modern music playing...reminds me of being on holiday abroad!

we visited the cafe on a day visit to Hastings we had a large breakfast and a toasties with tea the food was well cooked and the service was great .we sat out side and as the per the cafes name we had a great view of the castle great food and service what more can you ask for

We visited early Sunday afternoon. They have quite and extensive menu. We both had Pineapple and Mango smoothies along with their Messy burgers. Food was prepared to order so there is a little wait, but nothing major. Great portion sizes- burgers were huge and very tasty. Recommended if you are in town and want a tasty snack or meal for a good price.

First visit I had a breakfast which deserved 1 star. Since I have had an Omlette and a couple of burgers which were superb. Must try a burger when you visit here!

Very good breakfast, well cooked and nicely presented and very good value. Only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars is the baked beans-watery and a bit tasteless. Up the quality of the beans to match everything else and it's a 5 star breakfast!We'll be back for sure.

Impromptu decision to have breakfast out on this Sunday morning; very disappointed by our choice of places. While location is great (city centre, slightly off the hustle bustle) and with tables outside (a plus on a sunny day), table service was terrible. Our breakfasts (2 vegetarians + 1 english) took nearly an hour to come to us. Meanwhile 2 smaller tables got to order and be served. We were also told at order time, their toasting machine was out of order and thus bread would be plain. While this was unfortunate and cannot be helped, bread storage however is clearly inadequate as it smelled of mould.

Excellent good quality food. Used several times for takeaway treat during lockdown. Thanks for the little taste of normality. Would highly recommend them and their omelettes 👍🏻

The food was sloppy, disappointing and disgusting the eggs wasn't cooked properly the sausages were cheap and it's over priced for cheap food.

Went here for breakfast today and it absolutely top notch. We both had the Large Breakfast which came with 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, beans, black pudding (which we swapped for another bacon!), tomatoes mushrooms and 2 toast. We went for a Late as well and it was one of the best breakfasts I've had. I'm definitely heading back again and would recommend it to anyone.

We called in for breakfast and an omelette. There was a short wait over coffees for food. However food was good and a very good price.

Just waited 1 hour for breakfast and the order was wrong. When i called to tell the cafe that the veggie breakfast i ordered was a meat one, i was first told by the guy on the phone that he packed it himself so it cant be! I offered to send a picture to prove that he had packed it wrong, im sitting there unable to eat and i made to feel like a liar! He then said it wasnt there fault for the wait its the delivery company. I dont mind waiting but he has insisted i have to reorder through the app and wait again for 1 veggie breakfast whilst my friends eat theres... so i have to wait another hour? He couldnt tell me how long i would have to wait for them to fix the order they got wrong. I asked to reorder over the phone, answer was no only through the app. Absolutly terrible service, such a lack of professionalism and to blame the customer!! Outrageous. Save your time and money and order breakfast elsewhere.

After reading some previous poor reviews for the cafe I decided to give it a try thinking the owner may have taken the constructive criticism onboard and that it may have improved. However it hasn't. The service was great but the food was not good. I ordered the healthy option breakfast but the grilled tomato was barely warm as we're the beans and mushrooms.The poched egg was totally overcooked with a hard yolk. The only thing that was ok was the Avocado and Toast. My partner ordered the small breakfast which she was happy with apart from the bacon which she asked to be well done but wasn't. It's a pity because the cafe looks well presented and the waitress was very courteous and with a bit if effort from the kitchen it could be a winner. Sadly I doubt I would try it again.

Loved the food, great stuff was treated very well and I had my little one with me and while we ate she was entertained by the waitress who was amazing, would definitely eat here again as the prices are really good and quality of the food is brilliant

Whilst walking from the pier, we found this lovely little cafe. Very welcoming and friendly. Had good options for kids and good chips too. Fantastic price and everyone enjoyed their lunch today.

Back in Hastings again had such a good time we had to come back. Started to feel hungry and wanted something to eat and see castle view cafe and it looked very clean and food prices are very reasonable. The staff was polite and friendly and the food was fabulous. Both my wife and myself enjoyed the meals If looking for a place to eat then try here. A good selection to choose from.
