The coffee here is lovely.. We were going to buy some chocolate tarts but there were many tiny black flies on them. We told the barista who said that the managers knew this was happening, kept the goods on sale and the flies were worse in the summer. This has dampened our enthusiasm for a previously favourite place.

Can't comment on food only really have hot drinks. The staff are efficient and friendly, drinks are well made with a good range of seasonal drinks.

I recently visited The Barn in Chichester for breakfast with some guests, and it was an amazing experience! Although this wasn’t my first visit, it was just as wonderful as before. The atmosphere is so charming, especially with its lovely garden and quirky, outrageously fun shed seating in the courtyard. It was such a unique touch and made the experience even more memorable. We all loved sitting in the shed, which added a fun and playful vibe to our meal. The food, as always, was delicious. The Barn is an ideal place for both breakfast and brunch. The service was exceptional, with a sweet waiter who made us feel right at home. The whole setting, from the china teacups to the knick-knacks in the decoration, created a wonderfully unique and cozy atmosphere. Every little detail added to the charm of the place. I ordered the Welsh Rarebit, and it did not disappoint! Rich, flavorful, and perfect for the setting. My guests were equally impressed, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend The Barn for anyone looking for a cozy spot with great food, a fun atmosphere, and a quirky touch that you won’t find anywhere else. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Lovely pub if you're looking for somewhere for a quiet meal. Good variety of food (decent sized menu plus specials) which all tastes home cooked and decent quality at a reasonable price. Pub is a little on the chilly side at winter but completely understandable given how ridiculous energy costs are nowadays and how much it must cost to attempt to heat large high ceiling rooms with single glazing - just make sure you wear a jumper in cooler months and you'll be fine. Friendly service and nice decor.

Dreadful inedible sausage butty - bap was very cold and sausage very poor quality. Toasted teacake was flat as a pancake. Staff uninterested and bored. Won’t ever go back here.
