A really good coffee served here, pokey, small independent cafe. Can be busy but that shpuld be a hint,.its a good place to get a coffee....

We have been searching for great fish and chips since we moved to Chichester and we have found them!!! Super light crispy batter - not greasy at all and great chips. Our go to for fish and chips from now on!

Ella me ayudó a crear exactamente lo que preveía para mi loco tema de cumpleaños de sakura hello kitty, y fue realmente práctico antes, durante y después del evento, que realmente aprecio. We had a lovely time at this cosy, family-run cafe. Brilliant food and friendly service in a wonderful location.

Another stunning meal here tonight, this restaurant is always first class. The food oozes flavour and the service second to none. Highly recommended.

Great soup. Well priced at £5.50 and is served with bread and butter. Delicious!

Visited the George over the weekend to celebrate my father’s birthday and could not be happier. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted by the staff with smiles and they were very accommodating the whole visit. The food was lovely, I had the steak and mushroom pie which was very flavoursome and my father had the chicken thigh risotto which he said was equally as delicious! They even put a candle in his dessert which was a lovely touch. Thank you to all at the George, we will be returning soon!

Visited here for afternoon tea. Welcome was ok, but then we waited for a while to see if there was a free table. Bizarrely no one else was in the cafe and the upstairs service where we were seated was almost unfriendly and you felt you were in the way. When we asked for a spoon for our tea we were greeted with a huff and puff… Gets good reviews elsewhere, but sadly not from us..

No había estado aquí por muchos años, pero sin duda volveremos pronto. Tuvimos una noche encantadora con excelente comida de pub real. Porciones muy grandes, no tendrán hambre hoy! Dave y Sarah son tan amables. El mejor pub en el que he estado por años.

Primera visita, pero se sentía como uno de la familia. Comida casera cocinada, precio razonable, servicio amable, eficiente. Me encantaron los perros en la pared! Gran ubicación, escondido en las calles laterales de Chichester, pero muy céntrico.

For years Crispins was our “go to” cafe when we visited Chichester so having not been for a long time thought we would see if it was still as good as we remembered. It appeared to have changed hands and sadly the food quality was very poor! We ordered a prawn sandwich and a chicken and avocado sandwich / the chicken was dark brown and appeared processed and the bread was not fresh / likewise mine contained mashed prawns with tasteless sauce and again stale bread. The side salad was stale lettuce, one piece of dried cucumber and one piece of hard tomato! Our drinks were fine and service ok but my husband was ill that night and attributed it to his chicken! We will not be visiting again.

Lovely location but the service was not very good. No spoons to eat pasta with, when asked the waiter just shrugged and said they didn’t have any. Ordered a dessert, which unfortunately the waitress dropped part of it in front of us, then said they didn’t have any more. On checking our bill we had been charged for the dropped dessert. Overall food was OK, but so we were surprised with the lack of service. Would not go here again.
