Really nice cafe. Sat outside, very nice and helpful staff. Limited menu as main chef off, but food really nice!

We had a lovely time at this cosy, family-run cafe. Brilliant food and friendly service in a wonderful location.

Male member of staff (possibly the owner) was extremely rude and aggressive in front of a group of young children, shouting at customers and squaring up to them, really poor. At least the woman there was reasonable and tried to apologise for his behaviour (while he was still hurling abuse). Felt quite sorry for her. Needless to say we cancelled our order and walked 5 minutes to Boston Tea Party in town and had a lovely time.

Un miembro del personal masculino (posiblemente el dueño) fue extremadamente grosero y agresivo frente a un grupo de niños pequeños, gritando a los clientes y cuadrándoles, realmente pobres. Al menos la mujer de allí fue razonable y trató de disculparse por su comportamiento (mientras aún lanzaba abusos). Sentí mucha pena por ella. Huelga decir que cancelamos nuestra orden y caminamos 5 minutos a Boston Tea Party en la ciudad y tuvimos un tiempo encantador.

Mi familia y yo paramos aquí para desayunar y aunque el desayuno era bueno, sentimos que era demasiado caro para lo que conseguimos. Además, fuimos atendidos por uno de los propietarios y dejó mucho que desear en lo que respecta al servicio al cliente con un enfoque abrupto y grosero límite. A mi familia y a mí nos gusta asistir a restaurantes y cafeterías independientes en lugar de cadenas, pero desafortunadamente no volveremos a este.

Had 2 very different drinks here today. Very helpful staff. Drinks were great as well. Much better than the large coffee chains. The food looked amazing, but I just bought biscuits as we had eaten at home. Would definitely come back and next time will try some food. Accessible and clean.

In a nutshell the worst eatery I have ever stepped foot into, if only Google had a minus for stars. Avoid and go to an establishment happy to serve you and take your money, here they want to take your money and control you. Plenty of good places to eat locally!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Best place in Chichester for coffee and lunch

very bad service with clients. we were choosing for 3 minutes and waiter said that we have to order or leave. We decided to not order food and leave this place.

I recently visited Fenwicks Cafe hoping for a relaxing time with friends, but instead, I encountered an unwelcoming and discriminatory environment. Despite there being plenty of outdoor seating available, we were told to leave. The staff member who spoke to us was rude and dismissive, stating that she "won’t be able to have us all" without any reasonable explanation. This left us feeling unwelcome and singled out for simply being mothers with babies. It's disappointing to see such a lack of inclusivity in what should be a community-friendly space. I won't be returning, and I certainly wouldn't recommend this cafe to anyone, especially those with young children.

The Best Pizza outside Venice for me ! Also so friendly Hapoy and - delightfully child friendly while catering for regulars singles couples- the whole gambit- so worth a visit great location too!

Perfect spot in Priory Park on a nice quiet Sunday morning. Very friendly and clean, our 'go to ' place for tea and cake when in Chichester.

Had a nice lunch! You can sit both inside or outside. The food came really quick and there is even free wifi. Great for a bite after a visit to the park. Really friendly staff!

I spent a afternoon at Fenwick's cafe, Rob and Dawn are great, the food is good its clean, prices are good and the atmosphere is happy and you feel looked after and cared for, great for. As a disabled user they do everything to make sure I am okay always greeted with a smile and disabled friendly, a delight in Chichester's most beautiful park and great for kids too if you have them as there is a playground within the Roman walls that enclose the park. Rob and Dawn work really hard and it shows, pop in say hi and enjoy the atmosphere and menu and a drink if you want one, unlike big the chains they have a great hands on approach and it shows. Well worth a visit.

Wonderful friendly sunny DOG-FREE corner of Chichester. This is only one of two places left in Chichester where it is possible to relax unmolested by other people’s dogs. Long may it last. The people who run it are very friendly and the food and drink are delicious.

Dawn and Rob are absolutely amazing owners. They are so kind and treat you like family the moment you step into the cafe! Drinks, food and staff are all fantastic! We are from Southend on Sea and we really did travel all the way to go to the cafe- thank you Fenwicks!

Absolutely love this cafe, set in beautiful Priory Park. My family visit Fenwicks regularly for lunch, as the food is always great quality, and very reasonably priced. It's also a great place to visit with young children, with a lovely food choice for them too. Oh and don't forget the yummy cakes! You will always receive a very warm welcome at this cafe from the friendly owner, and Roberts jokes will leave you with tears of laughter and a huge smile! Thankyou and we will be visiting again soon!

The staff were very accommodating and we all enjoyed our drinks. The schmoos were a winner with the children!

The poached egg, avocado on sourdough is excellent. Unfortunately, it has chilli in it, which I'm not supposed to eat. It really doesn't need it. IT'S NOT MENTIONED ON THE MENU. Otherwise, excellent.

Went there today for a slice of cake owner even offered to box my cake if I couldn’t finish it. Was aware of the time being so close to closing but did not feel rushed at all

Love this place. Staff are amazingly friendly. The owner is hands on and things run smoothly. Very relaxing atmosphere and very rarely queues. Just walk in ..get coffee...which incidentally is the best flat white I've had in a while..sit in or out. What's not to like.

The most disgusting Behaviour I’ve ever seen from a manager in the whole of my life!!!! I wish there was a minus star rating!!! We arrived in the cafe on a beautiful day and our friends were seated in the cafe. we thought we would pull up a couple of chairs and join them. One of our friends then decided to pull a table over. Before we knew it we heard the manager shouting “how dare you pick up my table, get out!! Go and find somewhere else to go!!!” He then pointed to the signs saying do not move the tables…(which looked like they were designed for a mouse to read they were so tiny) This was very awkward as the whole cafe of customers were then watching us. I just think as a manager there is a much more respectful way to say please can you not move the table, instead of shouting at my friend in an aggressive tone. Never in my life have I seen such awful behaviour. He was Like a petulant child having a hissy fit. We definitely will never be coming here again. And I think this man seriously needs to have a word with himself about how he speaks to his paying customers.

Lovely cafe and staff. The smoothies are to die for especially the mango dream one. I’m gluten free and struggle to find many gluten free options when it comes to cakes but their gluten free blueberry muffin is to die for! Best gluten free cake I’ve ever had and very reasonably priced.

Cute cafe. Well presented with a good selection of locally sourced food. Also located next to the budgie cage in priory park, so great for the kids and adults

Nice cafe in a lovely park setting, the food's good, and the staff are friendly. Americano coffee at £2.20 is not too dear, but £3.30 for a Latte is just ridiculously expensive, i think someone needs to adjust their pricing policy, therefore instead of a 5 star rating i can only give it 4

Really friendly, lovely food. Vegan options available. A lovely man brought out colouring books and pencils for the little ones, told Dad jokes and made us feel welcome. Lovely soft blankets for when it's chilly. Perfect!

Popped in at the end of the day on a Sunday Christmas shopping outing, almost missed last orders, but thankfully they were still serving (just). I had the tempura prawns and my nephew had a pizza. Lovely food and quickly served. Hope to be visiting again in the near future.

Terrible experience just a few weeks ago. Went there with some friends, lady at the till was incredibly rude as according to her I was ordering too many items and my order was confusing. Ordered a couple of 99p Flakes, was told off that "it is not 99p, it is more expensive than that" so she obviously didn't understand I was just referencing to the traditional name of the 99p Flakes rather than the actual price. Somehow confused that I got so much rudeness out of just ordering a few coffees and ice creams for my friends.

Our favourite spot for a coffee in Chichester. Lovely views over Priory Park, so much history to be seen including the Roman City Wall and Saxon Mound.

Poor. Popped here as visiting friend. Ordered a cheese and relish sandwich, £6:50 I presumed it'd be a nice pub type sandwich. It was just 2 cheap slices of bread, cheese wasn't even grated and just pickle, must of cost all of 50p to make. Service, average. Won't bother again

We stumbled across this place on a stroll around Chichester, and very glad we did. Very nice location overlooking the park and aviary, great staff and some amazing looking cakes that we avoided so not too add to our waistlines! Certainly a place that we'd like to go again.

The service by the owner and her staff was excellent. We very much enjoyed the pizza that we each had. They even provided some live music by Guitars in the Garden, they probably should be called Guitars in the Park. Two tallented musicians who produced the perfect atmosphere in the perfect setting. We will definitely come again and would highly recommend.

The team at Fenwick’s cafe went above and beyond today. They organised fantastic tables for my class of disabled young adults and provided such a delicious lunch. The food is excellent quality and really nicely presented and portioned. The team made sure that all the carers were comfortable and had everything they needed to make our outing run smoothly and the service was fast and super friendly. I would highly recommend! Thank you!! x

A great place to relax with a coffee, nice and quiet away from the bustle (even in Covid times!!) Lots of goodies to choose from at any time of day, bacon roll to sweet cakes!!

My family and I were staying in the area for the weekend and, after dropping in at Fenwicks for coffee and cake on Friday afternoon, decided to book a table for Saturday evening and 'Guitars in the Park'. We had a fabulous evening. Very friendly, welcoming staff, excellent service, and the food was great - the home made pizzas were delicious. Such a lovely spot in Priory Park, and the two guitarists made the evening something a bit different. So glad we booked a table, just a shame we don't live locally - would definitely visit again.

My ice cream melted but it was ok

Whilst this is a fine place for a light lunch or tea there is one person who takes your order who is so surly an unpleasant that it puts you off returning. I say this after two visits this week when the same person took my order both times. Perhaps this message might get through to improve her attitude. I shall try one more time otherwise go elsewhere which would be a shame.
