Sofia was a fabulous waitress and her service was amazing. I had the salmon from the special board which was AMAZING thank you for a fabulous meal and excellent service

Fantastic breakfast, so good I returned same day and had a brilliant mixed grill in the evening

My family and I come often to the Boulevard especially for breakfast always great service and food we not disappointed today was delicious thank you to our server Sophia great hospitality

We have used the boulevard for years and always enjoyed it however we had a awful experience with a waitress being very rude and quite frankly not very nice towards us. We wasn't made to feel welcome from the start. She was very unwelcoming and treated us like we shouldn't have been there. From the moment we walked in she told us there was only 2 members of staff on and asked us to all sit together. Completely out of order wouldn't return.

Had a great dinner tonight at the Boulevard and chose from the selelection of the specials board which we were thoroughly impressed with. Both waitresses were constantly checking on all tables and Sofiya made sure that our meals came out as quickly as possible and ensure we were satisfied throughout our meals. Thank you to to all staff members who maintained a positive experience

Cracking brekkie, nice friendly service

There were 13 of us and the staff were so organised. The food came out hot and at the same time. Food was amazing portions were large. Fish, chips, burgers, mixed grill and cottage pie delicious

We came here on a very busy Sunday , Gemma out waitress was just amazing , one of us is vegan and nothing was too much trouble , good selection available and everything was served very quickly and food was delicious

It's hard to be transparent because my meal in comparison to my sons was a stark difference. So, I will rate on Customer service- girls are very friendly but delivered food without cutlery and napkins, I had to get up and get my own, then was questioned why I had so many napkins. 0 Ambiance 1 Veg food selection a dismal 0 Veg meal -0 (bloody awful) Price is fair for my sons burger 1 and looked good, his comments were it was delicious. He had the The Boulie.

Always loved the boulevard but there portion sizes are crazy for the price, used to go in and get a plate full of food but no longer, sad days

I have visited this venue before and was pleased with the visit. Went today Sunday 5 January. Sunday Carvery best I have had and that includes very good hotel and venue restaurants. The rost beef was absolutely spot on and the selection of veg was excellent. What for me makes this venue so good is that contrary to others on here, I find the service excellent, the staff all work seamlessly together and clearly know their jobs and you can see their eyes darting about ready to clear and check for any further requirements. I am hoping to move to Selsey soon and look forward to spending more time in the Boulevard.

I came into the Boulevard Selsey on Sunday 29 December with a couple of friend for drinks and food. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast and half way through it I ended up with bacon gristle in my mouth which was in with my mushrooms. To which the chef had said it's from the Vegetarian sausage. If anyone know's vegetarian sausages they are soft as they come and do not contain gristle at all. All I can assume is that the mushrooms had been cooked the the same pan as what the bacon had been fried in, to which I am really disappointed and wondered what else on my plate also wasn't vegetarian. I must say though that our waitress was an absolute pleasure and was so apologetic about it all, However, I do fell this should have been the chefs responsibility to sort as this was their mistake not hers. I would come back for the staff but not to eat the food not knowing if I would be served Meat again.

Probably one of the best Sunday carvery’s we have ever had. The meat was succulent and beautifully cooked. The veggies fresh and tasty with excellent variation of choice. Finished with the homemade sticky toffee pudding which was fabulous. Great food, great service, great place!

Fantastic find and will certainly return - I'd googled gluten free in Selsey and found Boulevard Selsey. We were greeted with friendly, attentive and efficient staff. They have a seperate gluten free menu (always a good sign that they "get it") They confirmed the gluten free chips were fried separately too. Food was delicious, great atmosphere and staff made it a very enjoyable visit. Have no hesitation in recommending as a restaurant, and especially as a gluten free gem.

Yet again we had amazing service and the best servers anywhere. Always friendly and helpful.

This place is an absolute gem! The food is great and reasonably priced. The amount of choice on the kids menu is remarkable. We went twice at the start of the October half term and the service was great on both occasions. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We had the Sunday carvery on our second visit and it was great . We will be coming back!

Good Choice of food which was tasty! I was Disappointed that the "Only" fish (& chips) that was available was Cod; as this place came up as a "fish & chips" restaurant in Google Maps! I had the Thick Nutella Milk Shake. It was Delicious!! Friendly Staff. Was busy for a Tuesday afternoon!

Friendly staff and great lasagne. Kids loved their burgers and milkshakes and said they wanted to come back tomorrow.

Busy eatery in seaside town. Food is fine and what you would expect. Several of the staff are young and it is nice to see them out working for their living. The place has been there for years and they know what their customers want. Very good carvery at the weekend.

The beef carvery roast was spot on , tender. Plenty of fresh vegetables, which could be topped up. Excellent service from staff..Would re visit with out hesitation.

In the world of shrinkflation, this place missed the concept - kids fish n chips (and we had 3yr olds) were adult size. Fries with meals were double the necessary. Parisian burger, mussels, grilled plaice and chicken pie were all good, beats usual holiday cafe fare by far. Bathrooms and booths all clean. Lovely staff. The only oddity is it shuts at 8 on a Saturday (maybe it's a surfer get up early town?!) as that is the busiest time for restaurants in my home town!

Surprisingly decent cafe diner food for a reasonable price. Wait staff were a bit slow but polite and friendly when we finally got their attention. A good range of meals and drinks, perfect for after a day at the beach.

I first visited this establishment 13 years ago when I got engaged to my now husband and have visited a few times since and each time the food has been incredible, the staff and service very friendly and fast ! This restaurant was great 13 years ago and yet again tonight it has impressed us ! Their roast is delicious and the menu very affordable. We highly recommend a visit. Thank you and well done to all involved in making this establishment great.

Always love a meal here, been coming here for over 30 years and the quality has never changed. Food is great and the service has always been outstanding. Five of us visited on 11/08/24 in the afternoon for dinner and drinks. Although they were busy and short staffed our order was taken quickly and on the table shortly after. Absolutely worth the visit every time we are in the area.

Waited to be served for twenty mins then they serve somone else went bk in and ask if anyone is serving another ten mins so I left and went somewhere else

Staff lovely. Chicken and ham pie nice but uncooked pastry. Salmon lovely but potatoes very black and overcooked. Apparently we should have said at beginning of meal

It was a lovely day, and we sat outside. It's a busy spot. Our food was nice, I had a small breakfast and the mushrooms were delicious. My daughter had the pancake, which were very dence and heavy, but she ate them. My husband had the ham eggs and toast, which you could get with chips either. Handy spot for a quick bite.

Where do I start. Been here a few times over the years but today was a massive disappointment. The staff are great restaurant is nice, but the food is now terrible We both had the full English which turned up around 5 minutes after we ordered. It was warmish and the bacon and sausage dry like it's been pre cooked, fried egg with a hard yolk, under cooked hash brown ordered black pudding at £2.20 and got one small slice off the end and wasn't cooked enough and cold. £2.20!!!! When the bill cam we had been charged just under £6 for 2 cans of Diet Coke and were charged for tea and coffee even thought their sister restaurant the tea and coffee is included. Avoid unless you like eating overpriced undercooked food

Best food in selsey and probably the whole peninsula. Love the homemade pies and the carvery on a Sunday can't be beaten. Ask for the head chef/owner and he will normally come out and say hello and regale old local folk tales.

Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Food is simple but tasty, and that’s always a winning combination. My daughter had pancakes and hash browns, I had the ham and eggs and the wife had the full English. Plates were cleared and we left satisfied. It was about £32ish for the lot including teas and coffee so it’s definitely value for money.

Food is alright, not as good as it used to be years ago… Gemma G does more talking than they do working.. Rude to their younger coworkers too.

We were due to go here today after being recommended , when we arrived in the carpark a member of the kitchen staff was stood in the big bin out the back, with a kitchen apron on. Very disappointing. Shame, as we had heard the food was nice, but hygiene is obviously not a priority.

Went to the Selsey boulevard with my family for Breakfast today. After being a regular at Bracklesham we was very disappointed with everything. Tea was cold, orders was wrong, fried eggs hard. Wont be going back.

Went in told it was table service and take a seat. Waited 10 minutes no one came to the table or was waiting on table to ask. So walked out.

Great selection on the menu. Very generous portions and great value. Busy for breakfast but the staff were on top of things.

Great carvery and great service. My husband and I are very particular about our roast dinners and have to say this was up there with one of the best we've had in a restaurant. We also had the breakfast on a separate occasion and that was also great.

Well presented restaurant with helpful, welcoming staff. A good range of family favourites and more interesting recipes. The salmon in chorizo sauce is absolutely delicious.

Visited the restaurant/cafe for my birthday lunch as a walk in, ordered the chicken burger and when bit down onto the burger boiling liquid squirted from inside the burger and burnt my mouth blistering my lips, the waitress told me this wasn’t the first time this had happened 🤷🏻‍♂️ I asked the manager for a phone call the next day as he apparently was unavailable on the day, he phoned the following day with a very abrupt rude attitude with no apology and blamed me for not checking the heat, I raised this concern with environmental heath which visited the site and they have told them that they need to press the chicken down to squeeze out the excess hot liquid, be warned if they don’t you will be burnt, hopefully they have changed the process of the way they cook chicken

First time visiting and really enjoyed it. HUGE portions, good value, large menu - its almost like a harvester. Saw they had a carvery on the Sunday which looked good from people passing. Fish and chips for me and partner had the mixed grill. Food was enormous and the fish was delicious. Took two desserts home with us as too full. The server with the short brown hair and lip piercing was on the ball, friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoyed the service provided. The only small problem was the chips were a little on the cold side but we didnt complain so we didnt give them a chance to correct it. Will be recommending to others and will be back.

Delicious food, great portions and perfect service, I got the bbq brisket burger and it was delicious with the bbq sauce. It was massive! The staff were very nice, the only problem was we had to wait a while as another table had a large order but that isn't the restraunt's fault. Would and will dine there again as it is the best place for food in selsey.

Popped in with my little boy for breakfast. Asked the girl if I could swap my tomatoes for a hash brown, was told no and had to pay extra Same waitress served the table next to us a short while afterwards, same request from a gentleman, and he was told that's fine. Need consistency im afraid. Wouldn't return

Went in for Sunday lunch all food fantastic loved the carvery even tried a battered parsnip! All portions generous, service with a smile ,lovely restaurant! Went back for breakfast on the Monday before journey home! Def recommend and return if in area

We stopped by on our trip in Selsey and ordered Spicy American burger + Plaice served with some salad etc. Unfortunately my food was just not *it*, the combo was really weird. Maybe my mistake that I ordered in rush... Burger was average. Staff genuinely fine.

First time in Selsey. The restaurant on the main road. It was reasonably busy. However, the service was excellent. Waitress Gamma is a gold star. The meal plates are very large for cheaper than usual prices. Tasty foods and well prepared. This place is worth a 5* recommendation.

Great place to go for some great food with super friendly staff! I even made a special request for a mint aero sundae (which wasn't on the menu) and they absolutely smashed it! Best sundae I've ever had! Update: Went back and ordered the California burger from the specials board and think that it's quite possibly be the best burger I've ever eaten!

A mediocre restaurant serving cake that artificial & sugary, and undrinkable coffee. The staff were nice. Not a place to go back to. I must point out I did not have a main course here so cannot pass comnent on this.

great food ...great choice ...huge amounts...not too expensive... table service..starters ...main..desert..drinks hot cold salad bar... and alchohol cannot recommend high enough

Pictures don't do the food justice. Literally, the biggest piece of cod I've ever seen and needed a box to take some home. Fabulous service, very friendly waitress and a lovely clean restaurant. Would happily come back 💕
