Visited here for afternoon tea. Welcome was ok, but then we waited for a while to see if there was a free table. Bizarrely no one else was in the cafe and the upstairs service where we were seated was almost unfriendly and you felt you were in the way. When we asked for a spoon for our tea we were greeted with a huff and puff… Gets good reviews elsewhere, but sadly not from us..

Visited this place whilst visiting Chichester. Ordered the cheese scone, came in a presentation box with cheese, cream cheese and chutney. Scone was delicious, so much so, had to order some more along with fruit scones to take away. Bet the cakes taste good too. Coffee also good.

Had a really lovely afternoon tea with friends to celebrate a friend's birthday. We arrived a little earlier for our booking and we were welcomed and a table made ready. Really cheery staff from booking onwards. Sandwiches were fresh and delicious with excellent choice of fillings. Scones were scrummy and had to take a few of the cakes home as so many. Extra refills of teapot provided. Would thoroughly recommend and definitely visit again.

Visited here after seeing it on places to visit in Chichester. I can honestly say that this little Tearoom will not disappoint. Outstanding fruit and savoury scones with a large pot of tea, served in a quirky way. The sisters were friendly and helpful, even suggested how I could improve my own baking and shared how to keep them. We would be regulars, but are here on holiday. Well worth visiting.

We had used this shop two or three years ago but not since the lockdowns. Today we called in for scones and tea, and found it under new management. Whereas previously it had been pleasant, but not out of the ordinary, today we were really impressed by the change. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient, both tea and scones were excellent and served immaculately. The Two Sisters have created a truly enjoyable experience which is excellent value. We will certainly return.

This little tea shop is an absolute gem, one of those rare finds that keeps you coming back. The service is reminiscent of a time past, when every customer was valued and given personal service. My friends and I have been coming here for the past year and nothing is ever too much trouble. We are welcomed as friends and truly looked after. It is almost an afterthought to mention that the food, the cakes (oh, the cakes) are fresh, home made on the premises and delicious. I cannot recommend this wonderful family business enough!!

We had an impromptu visit to Chichester last Thursday and I was keen to find somewhere for my mum and I to have lunch. I'd searched reviews on TripAdvisor and it didn't disappoint. The location is perfect, just at the top of the high street so not too crowded, the selection of cakes was amazing and the service was exceptional. We ordered a sandwich and homemade quiche, both were of a good portion size and equally tasty. We really felt like we were getting value for money. We came to check out this place while looking for afternoon tea. We'd seen good reviews online, but nothing like seeing for yourself. It's right at the end of one of the main streets (North Street) and has a tiny shop front. So glad we did. We hadn't booked and they were just able to fit us in (table for 6) as were booked out all day. Inside is like a just big enough dollhouse for adults. Really dainty and prettily decorated, vintage style. Was very clean and welcoming. The young staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The afternoon tea was just delicious. Great choice of (proper leaf) teas. Delicious cakes and sandwiches. This was probably the best afternoon tea we'd had as a group (and between us we've had a few!). I live many miles away but would come to Chichester again just to revisit this delightful place. We were so disappointed with our visit today as my daughter has wanted to try here for ages. However, as other reviewers have very fairly commented, this place is a rip-off. We were shocked at the ridiculously small portions. £34 for 12 minute sandwiches (yes, I know they are finger sandwiches), mini scones and cakes was shocking. It is a finger high tea but the price should reflect that. Small food, small prices. Customers should not be charged extra for the surroundings and crockery which were very ordinary. I wish I had asked the waitress to take the food back but we were stunned at the portion size and the children were starving.

My only suggestion might be that you have some lovely vintage music on quietly upstairs? Myself and my boyfriend were the only people up there but when the waitress came to clear another table it was deadly silent and we felt we couldn’t speak! We had a delightful French couple staying with us for a few days - they wanted to have a cream tea in a typically English 'Tea Shoppe'. Well we found the perfect one for them when taking them back to Chichester Rail Station. It was a bit of a risk for us because we had never been there before and neither had we found the time to read any reviews before our visit. Thankfully, it was lovely - we ordered a very light lunch followed by the delights of cake and tea - we were not disappointed. The cakes were, of course, the highlight for the couple as they arrived on lovely cake stands. We all had the signature odd cups and saucers - really cute. We couldn't eat all the delicious scones and cakes so were able to take them with us.

Great services and good menu with a good selection of food and cakes especially for vegans. The cupcakes look unreal!

I had not been to this cafe since it had changed hands from being the Orchard Tearooms. It has been redecorated nicely and looks very welcoming. We both enjoyed our lunch and drinks and will come again sometime.

A delicious cup of tea and bone china vintage crockery makes for a pleasant afternoon tea. Very friendly staff and good scones. Tiny place and a bit squashed but it's coziness adds to the ambience. Would go again. Recommend the cream coffee eclairs!

Today me and my best friend Emily went for lunch at this pretty cute little tearoom. The staff are absolutely lovely and they greet you with a hello and a smile as soon as you enter the shop. The decor is on point and the atmosphere is relaxing though a little bit of background music would have been nice (just something relaxing and very quiet). Overall I really enjoyed the visit and would go there again and have some food from the menu as I only had a tea and cupcake today. Loved the fact they have lots of vegan options, all very well labelled too. Thank you so much. 5 star.

We reserved a table in advance and chose from the lunch menu (there is an afternoon tea menu too). There is a great choice for veggies and they appeared to cater for other dietary needs as well and had soya milk. The cakes were home made and we sampled several! I recommend the bakewell tart. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and even though they were busy we weren't rushed.

A very quaint little café. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to our 8 month old in a pushchair despite the limited space. The cakes are all beautiful and cater for all the usual intolerances - gluten, lactose etc. The portions are generous. We had hummus and toast, a dairy and gluten free lemon drizzle cake and a black forest cup cake. The only area for improvement is the coffee - I've tasted a lot better in Chichester. That said, they have an excellent selection of teas. Well worth a visit

I first found this before Christmas. It was like an oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping. Wonderful atmosphere, amazing cakes, it was just awesome. I would suggest booking at peak times. Very clean and nicely decorated toilet :-)

Went with some friends and we all opted for the Snowman special, which was terrific. We only just managed to stagger from the table after that indulgent repast, and it was wonderful to take friends to a place that lived up to its reputation. Many thanks.

I have been here twice in the last few months for lunch whilst meeting with a friend and my sister. It's a lovely quirky little place and the welcome is very friendly.

If you like things a little bit traditional, this is the most heavenly tea shop I could suggest. Perfect tea in mismatched superfine china, delicious food and cakes (with good accommodation of gluten free requirements) lovely staff and a very efficient kitchen ninja. It's perfect

Chef Ravi rose magnificently to the curry challenge! I managed to down about half my venison and prawn curries, served with rice and condiments, but luckily my companion finished his grilled skewer and demolished the rest. Terrific to have authentic Indian food available in Graffham (on special request). Bravo to the the White Horse for extending its excellent range.

So disappointed by this place . First visit and won’t be returning! Ordered Avo on sourdough with poached eggs . Asked for the eggs to be well done . It wasn’t sourdough but cheap white bread . Eggs were runny so asked them to redo . 2nd attempt the eggs were still runny so my partner ate it . Large coffees ordered and just a normal sized cheap mug and not very hot . £17 totally wasted . We also ordered a croissant which was the only thing acceptable. Customer service - zero! Young staff who don’t care , smile or make u feel welcome . They need training asap or replacing . Us customers pay their wages - at least earn if . Doesn’t cost anything to be helpful or to smile . Will NOT be returning .

My wife’s aunt and cousin enthused about this pub so we decided to have lunch with them on a Thursday in November. The pub is signposted from the main road and is down a narrow lane to Chidham with passing places at intervals. The car park at the back is not so large so many visitors seem to park in the village. Virtually every table was taken which is always a good sign for mid week dining. The four of us had a variety off of dishes and my seafood tagliatelle was delicious. We were very impressed with the speed of service from the two lovely ladies and lively atmosphere of the pub. The portions are quite large so if you have a smaller appetite we would recommend their small portion menu. My wife’s cousin recommended the mussels which were not on the menu the day we visited so we must return to try them. A very enjoyable lunch catching up with old friends too.

We went to the Potager restaurant last night. It was Locals Night. The menu was imaginative and the food delicious and well presented. The atmosphere and service was dood too. The Locals Night is excellent value and we would highly recommend

This has a great beer garden. The food is excellent. All the staff were so friendly and made you very welcome. At the moment they have a TV in the garden for all the footie fans, very nice touch. Dog friendly pub aswell. Would strongly recommend.
