Lovely place and such friendly staff! Especially the floor manager bless her. The food was really fresh and hot!. The atmosphere was amazing which helped with a little wait waiting for the dinner but it was packed out! The floor manager was so lovely and kept us in the loop with what was happening with our food but no bother they were all rushed off there feet. Will be going there again

The atmosphere in this restaurant was lovely. We had dinner here and had an amazing server and barman, Justin. He was very fast when making drinks as soon as we had ordered them and he was overall very friendly. The food was also delicious and considering the restaurant was quite busy, it came relatively fast.

Absolutely incredible service and good to go with it! Come not recommend enough, will continue to visit with my family and friends.

We came in at 12pm today for a nice Easter Sunday meal with my family! Food and service was 10/10, we will come back again!!!

I've had the most lovely, relaxing lunch at ASK Italian. My server, Charlie, was incredibly accommodating of me being vegan and gluten-free, which I appreciate is an awkward combination. He was very helpful & did everything with a smile. I had the lentil ragu, which was hearty, and their new side of greens with a balsamic glaze. The sarti pink spritz was a free April perk that arrived in my emails and added to the holiday feeling, as I'm currently down for a short break.

Could not fault the food or service waiting to wasn’t that bad either seem to have a lot of tickets up and still managed to get food out at a reasonable pace delicious food at a reasonable price and servers very polite service with a smile

Atmosphere was chilled even though quite busy. Our server Evie was very friendly and attentive but not overly so, just right. Food was yummy.

** editing as the area manager got in touch and was very helpful and understanding, and explained the whole restaurant had to close for a very valid reason, the issue was just that we were not told this*** Today was the last straw. In the past 5 years, they have left me and my partner waiting for our food on valentines night because they forgot about us, we had to remind the waitress. Then me and my partner went in to ask for a table at lunch time on a weekday. They claimed it would be a 45 minute wait when they were practically empty. After this I had washed my hands with them but my grandparents wanted to go and the waitress was incredibly rude to my elderly grandmother who was just asking questions about splitting the bill and after my grandnother tried to give her a 20% tip she took it and walked away rolling her eyes! And she was talking about our table loudly to a colleague!!! After this I was incredibly angry but it had been a couple of years by today and my mother wanted to go for mothersday. I booked yesterday and got a confirmation email, then just an hour ago I got an email saying my booking was cancelled, 2 hours before we were supposed to get there!! Tried to call them twice and no answer, leaving us with only a couple of hours to find another restaurant on mothersday. Absolutely appalling and will be taken to head office.

Rubbish customer service, we came with our 2 year old and the man who sat us down didn't even offer a high chair and colouring stuff for the kid. We had to find the high chair ourselves. We didn't order a kids meal as we shared our food with our toddler so we asked for a separate plate for her but they didn't have the common sense to give toddler cutlery and cup. I ordered a risotto which was half cooked. Nobody came to ask how our food was. The rest of the food we ordered was bland and below average. We won't be returning to this Ask branch again.

Large group visited Feb 2025. Our servers, Justin and Laila, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even when there were so many of us! The food was just as great. Would recommend and will be going again ourselves!

Belated Valentines date for my wife and I after working so much. Superb service and food from Justin and his colleagues. Justin was polite and informative when it came to ordering desserts as there have been a couple of additions since we last came. His service was superb. We never have a bad experience at ASK Chichester and is our go to restaurant. Thank you.

Ubicación encantadora, pero el servicio no era muy bueno. Sin cucharas para comer pasta, cuando se le preguntó el camarero simplemente se encogió de hombros y dijo que no tenían ninguna. Pedí un postre, que desafortunadamente la camarera dejó caer parte de él delante de nosotros, luego dijo que no tenían más. Al revisar nuestra factura nos habían cobrado por el postre caído. En general la comida estaba bien, pero así que nos sorprendió con la falta de servicio. No volvería a ir aquí.

This is the second time I have ordered from Ask Italian via Deliveroo, and the second time they have delivered a meat-filled calzone rather than the vegetarian goat's cheese calzone I ordered. Both times, I have tried to call the restaurant and haven't been able to get through, despite calling multiple times and leaving a voicemail, which they haven't bothered to reply to either. Disgustingly low standards - will be reporting. I can appreciate that mistakes happen, but twice points to consistently poor kitchen management. I am a lifelong vegetarian; had I eaten it by accident, I would be very ill today. I'd advise anybody with a dietary requirement to stay well clear of this place.

We go to ASK restaurant in Chichester at least twice a month. All the staff are so friendly and helpful especially Charlie & Leila who regularly serve us. The last few months the restaurant has been full and the staff are still very attentive. The food is tasty and portion sizes are just right - thank you chef’s :) The decor and atmosphere is lovely and the reason why we keep coming back. Oh and there are always ‘offers of the month’ that we take advantage. All in all we give them 10 out of 10 - Carol & Mike

The food is good but service and attitude is poor. Why put out small glasses for complimentary drinks and then not provide the drink? Also the food was served on cold plates. No coat hooks. Feels about as Italian as Watford. I think this place is probably beyond redemption

I was out for a Christmas meal with my friend and it was perfect. Justin the bartender made us delicious cocktails and our waitresses- Evie and Laila, were very friendly.

We came in last night and had some items from the Christmas menu. All four of us loved our food. The service was really friendly, and the restaurant clean ( yes, we know its not long since the refit). We shall return as its not our normal go to Italian place in Chichester.

From entering this restaurant, no one came to welcome us to a seat bearing in mind the place wasn’t busy at all. My mum went up to the bar and asked if we may be seated at a table to which a lady showed us over. Considering the restaurant wasn’t busy, the service was shocking slow and our food requests and drink requests weren’t acknowledged. Two of my family members asked for additional toppings on their pizzas, to which these weren’t added. We asked for table water, to which this wasn’t given until we asked again. There wasn’t any attention to detail for example ‘would you like any salt or pepper or sauces or parmesan cheese etc’. There seemed a lack of any real direction it felt like some staff were all on a training day or they’d rather be at home. There wasn’t anyone taking a clear direction or lead on the 5 or so tables that were occupied. When the bill came over, we were charged for additional toppings that we didn’t receive. We told our original waitress about this and she went off, got distracted and started serving other tables? We then told another waitress, anyone would think she was volunteering and not being paid, there wasn’t any personable skills towards us? Eventually, they took these extra charges off the bill and we paid and left. Overall, the food was good and tasted fresh. The bar man seemed like the only efficient member of staff and the new strawberry drink tasted lovely. I wouldn’t come to this restaurant again due to the service recieved.

The food was fantastic and the best part was the most attentive, friendly Assistant Manager (Lee Sun) waiting on our table. This is a beautiful restaurant with friendly staff. I think the food could improve. I love lasagna and mine lacked flavour and sauce..... admittedly I didn't go for the pimped up version with extra sauce.

Me and my Parents had a lovely dinner out for my mums birthday today. We left stuffed and content. The service was amazing and we managed to have a good laugh. The new strawberry drink was phenomenal from what I’ve heard from my mum and she ordered two. Would definitely recommend as a nice dinner out!

Sentado esperando para pedir bebidas para edades y tenía que llamar a la camarera. Empieza todo bien. Pedido 3 pizzas diferentes. 2 pizzas se sentaron a un lado durante 10 minutos. Cuando nos trajeron, nos dijeron que la 3a pizza había sido inventada incorrectamente y tuvo que esperar. Las 2 pizzas que se trajeron estaban frías y tuvieron que ser devueltas y permanecer. La 3a pizza salió correcta (finalmente) pero tuvo que ser devuelta ya que las otras 2 pizzas todavía iban a ser hechas! En general, no es una buena experiencia
