The general manager was very unprofessional, sloppy appearance, I did not get their name because they even had their name tag upside down and when I asked them to fix it so I could see the name they kicked me out of the store for the franchise owners information she refused. Very poor customer service From the GM. There was one employee in there that was absolutely 10 steps above the general manager, who should probably be in that position.

Always enjoy going through the drive through. Employees seem to be in a generally good mood and not all growly at the world for what ever reason!!!

This is a great Taco John's! I've never had a poor experience with the food, it always comes out quickly, the place is always clean, and the staff always friendly. Highly recommend this place.

I'm a long haul trucker from Canada, I had one of those days where if something could go wrong it would. Day started out with going for fuel, the company card wouldn't work at first but did after 1/2 hour on phone, then I couldn't get my paperwork to come into Canada to print from an email. By the time I got back into Jamestown I was 5 minutes into violation and was done for the day. I walked over to the restaurant and ordered my food....YUP my debit card didn't work (Canadian Card). The two individuals working the counter Steven and Miles said, don't worry about it, we have issues with it. Steven grabs his own wallet and paid for my meal. I had 10 US in my wallet and he refused to take it. 2 tip notch employees. I was embarrassed about the whole situation, but came to realize that there are young individuals who have HUGE HEARTS and we shouldn't paint the "new generation" kids with the same brush. So just to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to Miles and Steven. Thank you once again

Taco John's Jamestown has set itself apart with stellar customer service, delicious (and fast) food, and a welcoming atmosphere. This is a top tier Taco John's in their chain.

First time ever eating here, and I was not disappointed. The staff was super friendly and made recommendations that did not disappoint. I'm hoping to see one in my area now.

Delicious Wildberry lemonade. Angel, the drive thru operator, was awesome with enthusiasm regarding our order.

Great service and smiling faces. Taco Johns is a Midwest institution. A fast food delicacy if you have the privilege to indulge. Vegetarian? No problem sub beans for meat and everyone is happy-- and be sure not to forget the potato oles!

Looks like a brand new taco johns in Jamestown. Greeted promptly by youthful staff. Everyone looks busy and looked like they were working hard. I had driven up from mesa az to follow my grandsons baseball ⚾ travels. Mesa does not have a taco johns but I have eaten the cuisine before. I only ordered the large Tator Ole and a soda as we were traveling through. They were hot and fresh just like I recalled. The new place was clean and staff was friendly. I am sure if I ordered my usual soft shell and beef burrito they would have been prepared properly as well.

The place was clean, the people were friendly and the food came quickly. We had gotten #7 the street tacos. My husband had gotten all steak, and I had gotten a mix of 1 chicken, 2 steak. I must say the steak tasted better than the chicken. We upgraded our meals to large. The potato O'lays were good and crispy. The nacho cheese sauce tasted like Velveeta, and the guacamole just tasted strange like it was fake. They had a special on real fruit lemonade, so we each got one of the flavors, they were really good, they should have them all the time. This was our first time eating here, I'm glad we stopped in. We'll have to do it again!!

First time at the Jamestown, ND location. Good food & great customer service. Potato Oles was seasoned perfect. The inside was very clean and kept up by the staff. I would eat here again.

One of the worst. Feels like staff has contempt for you when you go there. Ask simple questions and they bark back at you. If you don't like working with people do something else.

On Super Bowl Sunday 2024, around 9:30 at night, I decided to try this place on my way to Walmart. I passed it so many times since October, when I moved here. My God, am I disappointed I didn't stop in sooner!!!!!! I thought this place would be like a certain Taco establishment that is popular on the east coast, something to do with a bell. Wrong. I was completely wrong. So I roll in off the main road, turn into their lot, navigate behind the building to the drive-through area, and get in line behind 2 other cars. I navigate over to the Google Play Store on my phone. I got anxious about the menu and my personal ability to choose without making the guy behind me mad at a new to me drive up menu. By the time I got to that speaker, I had my rewards app open with my QR Code for rewards ready to go. I am greeted with "Welcome to Taco John's, my name is Justin, I'll be right with you." I glanced over the menu. I spotted a fish taco, and I despise fish tacos simply out of my belief that tacos are meant to be be made of ground beef or chicken, and whoever brought fish into this was out of line. Justin came back over the speaker, and I said, "Justin, this is my first time at Taco John's, and I want to know what you eat on break while you're working." Without hesitation, he told me it's a steak something or other burrito. I said I'll take one, a fish taco as well, and a diet Mountain Dew. I pulled up, waited like a minute behind the car at the pickup window, pulled forward and waited another minute or so, and received my food, with a smile, from one Justin. The weight of the bag was the first clue. This was nothing like Taco B___. The smell that filled my car was fresh and had a hint of onion and garlic. As I pulled into my spot in Walmart next door, I could hardly wait. So I pick up the burrito, and this thing is no joke. I took 2 bites and knew I could not pass this place again without stopping for this item. Even if I'm not hungry, I'm getting one for later. It's that good. It's as good as any "Fresco Mexican" trendy named joint on the east coast, if not better. And then there's the fish taco. Crispy, hot fish is cut up and placed inside a warm flour tortilla with a zesty sauce that's just so good. Even the napkins are gently laid in the bag, not shoved in angrily by some disgruntled employee. God bless the owner and staff of this particular Taco John's, I wish them much success. They deserve it. Unlike the Walmart employees I interacted with tonight. But that's for another review. Thanks for reading, and as always, have a blessed day!!!!

Hats off to Amber M.! Such a positive and uplifiting attitude, top not customer service, great knowledge of the menu and just an all round 5 star experience! Food was delish so cudos to the staff as well! If only every fast food restaurant had someone like Amber and today's Taco John's team.

1st time here. Nothing to brag about and I don't think I will return either.

Terrible food as it was cold and the meat was slimy and I don't know how to explain it but I don't recommend this place at all. The lady I spoke to didn't even seem to care, I always get names but didn't catch hers so I don't know exactly her name but she was just very unbothered and that was worse then the food being bad

Every morning when I go there they are more than great with their service and social skills. by far one of my favorites for breakfast!

It was taco John's... Hard to mess that up. Actually, they've never messed up an order for us at this location. Also, the bathroom being very clean was a nice surprise with a 2.5yo boy who needed to go 👍.

We had a couple of mains, coffees and pastry's. Food had very little flavour, sandwich with cheap flavourless cheese and the coffee was bitter. Chocolate pastry was good but pistachio was again disappointing. Not recommended.

They make a good chicken taco salad

Got into town later than expected, they were open at 9pm, so happy! They were friendly, courteous, and my food was fresh and flavorful . Haven't had Taco John's in over 4 years and I missed it so much...i will be going back numerous times before I head back home.

We were visiting for the day and this was the first café we saw and took a chance... The coffee was 1st class, the staff were so friendly and helpful and the rear garden was a lovely location.

Had a great breakfast and very fast. $11 for 3 items though.

Food and service were excellent as always.

At 1pm they'd already sold out of soup, brusque woman serving waved her , arms at other options, little courtesy, no eye contact unfriendly. Asked about vegan options, 1 little portion controlled individual orange cake vegan out of aporox 10 veggie options, salad bar looked nice but any dressing/ mayo options were not vegan. We opted for saag alloo pasties contents were flavoursome but alot of pastry with small spoon of content in the middle. No have a nice day, thank you etc niceties. Disappointing experience.... With so many vegan options available in mainstream cafes i think they'll need to improve to keep people coming back. We'll likely give it another go to support independent business but 1st experience was poor.

We often walk past here and decided the other day to pop in for a light lunch. My husband had a huge slice of quiche and lasagne for me - both with salad. Delicious and huge scones with home made jam. Sunny green space out back. An independent worth supporting. Recommended.

We had lasagne and quiche (x2) with a choice of salad. Garden was ideal setting. The sun helped. We would go again.

Over the many years we have been eating here the food, service and ambience is reliably excellent. Thank you Café Paradiso. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

I live in Fargo, and I can say personally that Taco Johns is usually the last place I would choose to eat. Today though, I decided to try the TJs in Jamestown. The food was fresh and didn't take 20 minutes. Thanks to everybody working. So far, the best TJs I'm ND.

I looked in the window to view the food. Every time I have done so the lasagne is black on the top which puts me off going in and eating there which is a shame as great to have a vegetarian cafe in Chichester.

We’ve been going to this cafe for years and it’s always good. Their hot vegetarian food is superb. Salads are great, portions are generous and it’s value for money.

We were enjoying a long weekend in Chichester and were attracted by a splendid looking cake display in the window and the opportunity to sit in the attractive garden at the rear of the cafe. However, it was a disappointing experience all told. Service was a little off-hand to say the least but the biggest disappointment was the poor quality of the cakes, My bread pudding was a generous slice but was dry as the proverbial bone; how long had it been standing there? Even worse was a slice of orange and polenta cake - tasty but undercooked, full of white pieces of the orange and effectively inedible. Sitting in the garden was a pleasant bonus on an October afternoon but I sincerely we caught this cafe on a bad day, it would be a huge shame if this was the normal standard.

Went here with my Mum and ordered food from the ‘hot’ counter - there was a sad looking vegetarian lasagne and some quiche. I went for the vegetarian lasagne as the quiche looked sad aswell. My Mum went for the quiche. The food was served in an old fashioned type vegetable dish and I was served with literally a teaspoon of each of the 4 salads that was offered with the ‘hot’ food. The portion size overall was derisory and was charged around £10 just for mine. I say around £10 as there were no labelled prices but with 2 cappuccinos the bill came to £27.60. When I got to our table the food was literally stone cold and was pretty tasteless. I don’t like to complain but I spoke to the manager and explained that the food was cold and tasteless and she said that she would microwave it (along with the salad!) and regarding taste she said she had found it tasty but to me it was like rubber. She offered me a slice of the quiche. I thought ok let’s see what the cakes are like and we decided to take away the raspberry sponge and a couple of cup cakes. The raspberry sponge looked inviting and I asked the server to just cut the block she had in two to take away but she said there are 3 portions and cut it into 3 portions when I just wanted the whole block cut into 2 portions - I had explained this I thought quite clearly but she said that she couldn’t put the cake back together - pretty exasperating! As one reviewer has said this place could be so much better and likewise maybe I got this place on a bad day but the place really needs to improve - prices need to be shown, customer always right and 3 can go into 2 !

I feel like this cafe has so much potential but seemed to be cutting costs unnecessarily. The food itself was handmade and original. The side salads were nice but could have been more generous and seemed purposefully served on a small plate. I ordered apple juice which I expected for the price to be in a glass bottle or at least cloudy - it was just standard carton, very wholesale.The whole vibe was very cafeteria for no reason. Stressful, fast paced ordering with no labelling on the food (or prices shown) so could only select then and there. No tray. Cheap cutlery in pots - help yourself. Pvc tablecloths.The window is really nice with pretty pastries and attractive signage but somehow didn't translate to the interior or atmosphere. This could be a trendy vegetarian cafe but needs to be a little more upmarket.

There is no way that burrito is in any comparison with Chipotle's as thats who they are aiming for. Comparatively Chipotle does not use sub par ingredients, and when they make, it they will make it correctly. The order taker had it down, but the cooks still put whatever they wanted on it. As my receipt reflected my order stating no beans. But to my dismay, after opening the poorly wrapped foil encased burrito, i see beans :/ thanks for effing up my lunch

Boyfriend ordered 2 different meals for us. They gave us both 2 completely different/wrong things than we ordered, and didn't even give us cheese or sour cream for the potato oles. The only thing they got right was the sodas. We don't eat there often, but 2 out of 3 visits have been bad experiences.

The super burrito has always been my favorite. But I just realized something today. The lady who made it has been there for awhile now. And the first time I ever said, "Wow, this is even better than it used to be!", was the first time I ever saw her make it! Coincidence? I don't know. Maybe they just improved the recipe around the same time as she started, or maybe she has the special touch. Either way, she makes a mean burrito!

Freshly cooked, healthy,full of flavour, exceptionally well cooked food. The best food in Chichester by a country mile.

Providing quality vegetarian food I was disappointed that the potato dish was lukewarm. The Americano coffee was reasonable.

Although very busy we got a seat and enjoyed lots of choice of salads and delicious quiche for lunch.

My sister and I stopped here for a coffee and cake, mid-morning. When asked what we would like I asked for a large flat white as indicated by the menu - £2.95, expecting a large cup/mug, a normal size tea cup was picked up. I questioned the size of the cup as not being large and expensive for £2.95, compared to Cafe Nero/Costa etc, to which a girl ( I say girl as she obviously hasn’t grown up and learnt any manners yet), jumped in and answered -“we are an independent, we have to make money” I looked at the poor server, who seemed lost for words and while thinking - do I really want to stay here. The rude girl ( who was on the phone says to the caller loudly “ sorry am just dealing with a customer who is moaning about our prices” My sister and I obviously left immediately. Here’s my advice to the Cafe - you can’t compete on product, on price or service it seems, so why bother!!! The reviews say your coffee is terrible anyway (bitter and horrible) so why don’t you just stop pretending to be something you clearly are not and serve your obvious Nescafé in a mug at £1.40 and deliver it with bloody smile and lose the attitude.

Taco tuesday they were ok not very much beef very full of lettuce's.

Visited the Cafe Paradiso as it had appeared as a dog-friendly location when checking where to eat. Lovely pastries in the window, decent menu, what is there not to like? When we arrived we were told that dogs were not allowed in the cafe but could be in the garden. The weather was cold and miserable so no thanks.

Stopped by for lunch just as the staff were getting freshly cooked food out from the kitchen. I opted for soup at £5 and a roll at £1.00. Soup was reasonable although a little salty. Steady stream of customers showed how popular the cafe is, but inattentive staff being ‘too busy’ putting the hot food out also lost 2 sets of customers who were left standing at the serving desk unacknowledged.

if any one knows what a del taco is, that's what it reminds me of. Nothing to write home about, but moderately accurate.

We stopped here on a Sunday visit to Chichester for lunch. I had a slice of home made quiche and selection of salads. Delicious! This is a very pleasant cafe with a garden. They serve only vegetarian food, including cakes and pastries. Good coffee too.

I have not been to Chichester for some time and was surprised to see that this Café has moved. I only had coffee and a sandwich but I was not disappointed as the sandwich was really good. it is so rare to find Vegetarian cafes/restaurants and with so much emphasis on vegan/dairy free/gluten free diets we vegetarians seem to be bottom of the list again, so I was glad that it is still operating. Long may they be successful

Fab veggie food that is so tasty my meat eating friends wouldn't think they were missing out; nice one. Very enjoyable lunch with the wife, a great antidote to the lethargy caused by being dragged around the shops :-)

On a beautiful summers day the chance to sit outside with a cup of tea and coffee is not to be missed. And Cafe Paradiso has a lovely outside space with a dozen tables and chairs at the top of North Street - if coming from the Cross.

Pot of tea for 1 with two decent tea bags and plenty of water. Could not drink it all so my wife had a cup as well. Apparently Americano one of the best she has ever had

Visited with the expectation of having coffee and cake in the morning. The coffee was fine, but the cake ! A chocolate and hazelnut twirl - hard icing, dry contents. Not sure if the cake was stale or badly made, but if you do come here, avoid this cake ! The tables felt like they were covered with ageing plastic tablecloths , and the one that we were sat at still had debris on it from the previous customer - which considering the number of staff, and that the café was not busy, would be so easy to keep on top of. I don’t enjoy giving a low mark, but these are fundamentals that can easily be addressed. I suggest that you look elsewhere to spend your hard earned cash.....

This café is well situated between the top end of North Street and the big Northgate pay and display car park coming out of the centre of Chichester, about five minutes walk from the Cross, and two or three minutes more to the Northgate car park. Up to about three years ago, the café was situated across the road in the Boardwalk, but now even that site has been redeveloped.

My husband and I popped in last week for a late lunch and found the experience a bit disappointing. The staff were friendly and helpful but the overall cost was too much for what we got. We both had jacket potatoes and salad, plus a cold drink each and this came to £23. For that type of meal in other cafes we have paid around £15. Cafe prices are usually more on the 'cheap and cheerful' side, particularly when you are not ordering expensive cuts of meat...........perhaps you could reconsider the pricing of the menu?

Having two vegetarian guests from Italy staying, I decided to take them and my mother to this restaurant for lunch yesterday before their flight home. The restaurant was fairly empty . I stood at the counter and asked what each of the dishes was, so I could translate to my guests. The girl rudely answered “I am busy serving a customer”. It made me want to turn around and leave. After that each question was answered in a very offhand way, which was rather embarrassing as my guests then insisted they pay. I have never been spoken to so rudely in a restaurant in my life. The food was tasty but I certainly didn’t enjoy the experience. I won’t be returning again. Sadly.

Food seems a bit more standard and expensive compared to how it used to be. Portions seem a bit smaller, menu not imaginative... disappointed as we used to love coming here for lunch out.

It is a great way to sit and eat with your family. Or alone! I am such a fan of their cruncy chicken. It is great evvery time. And for dessert it is always a churro. Maybe two! Taco John's is good place to eat.

This used to be a vibrant welcoming place for lunch. The portions are smaller, especially the salads. With so many veggie/vegan options now in the city they need to up their game regarding flavours and menu. There's a large garden, a rarity in the centre, which needs colour, texture and care- not expensive to achieve.

This is a very informal. very busy little restaurant serving the most delicious vegetarian dishes. I am not a vegetarian, but thoroughly enjoyed the meal I had. There is a wide variety to suit all but the most determined carnivore!
