A very pleasant coffee shop. Full of character staff are very good. Coffees served in unusual glasses but somehow it pretty cool. I had a gingerbread chai latte which was beautiful. Will come again. Thank you

Top notch food in a friendly little park cafe. Honestly above and beyond what you would expect from a small venue. Tom the owner is just lovely. They run occasional evening live music pop ups too which make for a fun evening. Thanks Tom and crew!

Collette and I ran this pub from 2001-2004 from those unscrupulous people at Greene King , who dispute their lack of continued support for us but there enthusiasm to squeeze every last penny out of us , we had a pretty good time with the fantastic locals and friends who were the most supportive and helpful people to have as customers and idiotic lunatics , especially if we had Karaoke on !! Ps. Thanks to Funky and wife

We come here for breakfast regularly with the company the young girl Emma is very helpful made us feel comfortable explained how it all works and explained my wife’s gluten allergy very clearly and was able to make her feel relaxed about what she can and can’t have and bring out cleaned cutlery for her, the food was hot and very good £10.99 for a buffet is amazing price for an all you can eat buffet, she went above and beyond for us and made us feel valued and also was happy to help with our questions with travel towards Oxford. Lovely, friendly staff who always try and accommodate specific requests. Food is prepared fresh and arrives quickly - we’ve been here a lot and also had a positive experience! Great for breakfasts but does t open until 9am so don’t arrive too early! Nice, uncomplicated menu with a friendly atmosphere - highly recommend!

Part of our Christmas tradition is a walk into town with our dogs and treat ourselves to coffee and cake on Christmas Eve. The staff are what make this place so good. Adele the manager is a fantastic leader and the interactions we had with her, Caleb and Drew were great. Nothing was too much trouble, service with a smile despite being very busy. My only real gripe is that the company don’t allow the team to accept gratuities which is such a shame as we do like to reward great service. I own a hospitality business and the new laws surrounding gratuities to add a layer of admin but it’s not too tricky and the staff deserve to be rewarded for good service so please, head office, sort this out. Thank you for making the start of our family Christmas lovely again this year.

Without doubt sadly the worst Costa latte I’ve ever had and I’m told by my wife that the milk was burnt. Sadly the service was slow, unfriendly and the drink was very poor but at least the baby chinos were free anyway!

Esta es mi cafetería local y paso horas aquí, pero el personal siempre ha sido un éxito o un fracaso hasta que recientemente hay una joven encantadora que se ha unido. Ella es excelente. Servicio al cliente increíble, siempre sonriendo y preguntando cómo estoy, etc. Ha hecho que el ambiente allí sea mucho más agradable, ya que ella siempre sonríe y hace una gran diferencia. Workers are rude , sausage rolls are either undercooked or hard , tables are dirty , stuff just left laying around , and it’s not cheap . This company also has it hands in other pies too , that have a bad name , so watch out , and keep away .
