Lovely, friendly staff who always try and accommodate specific requests. Food is prepared fresh and arrives quickly - we’ve been here a lot and also had a positive experience! Great for breakfasts but does t open until 9am so don’t arrive too early! Nice, uncomplicated menu with a friendly atmosphere - highly recommend!

Fantastic food. I had a lovely chicken salad with cooked chicken slices and all was lovely and fresh My partner had the chicken and chips served with salad and coleslaw and the chicken was well cooked and lovely and moist . Friendly lady serving and pleasant gentleman Was really busy when we were there and food was served very promptly. Everywhere was clean and comfy and will definitely be returning. Son's emigrating, last family breakfast, English looked OK, kids and two adults ordered pancakes, what a joke, flat, hard took that long that rest of family nearly finished their breakfast and that the maple syrup was rock hard, my 80 year old mum could not eat that, told them they took it away, when went to till and said this is last breakfast with my son as family due to him emigrating and all they did was not charge us for pancakes, so we had nothing to eat and got told they ran out of ice cream and that is why it took so long, absolute disgrace, should of let us off the whole breakfast never going there again, AVOID

Disappointed-sadly I feel since Nick left this cafe is not the same without him -great his wife is still here else I’d probably stop coming altogether but as both George and Kirsty are still here especially as George left me in fits of laughter as he parked up my scooter (F1 here we come…!!) sadly I feel the new manager is trying too hard to ‘please’ and should perhaps try and relax a bit more around your customers-I feel you are too focused on trying to clean up before customers have finished their meals! To add the food is still 100% and café remains very clean but I feel it’s gone down hill slightly since Nick left but brill his wife remains!

Since I don’t live in bicester but meet my friend Phil in Jenny’s on a regular basis and to be fair I’ve never had an issue with with either the food or the staff-Nick always teases me about my parking skills on a mobility scooter especially if he tries to help me park it to the amusement of staff and customers! Always enjoy a giggle here and food has always been superb! Well done all-Susie

Went here last week for breakfast, walked in about 10am… soulless place, only a couple of other tables taken.. Ordered the traditional English breakfast. No toast included and no tea included so has to order separately.. The sausage was awful, one of the really cheap types - full of rubbish.. the beans were cold and the chips were diabolical, about 15 French fries on the plate and spread out to try and look like it was more than it was - awful. Toast was buttered with margarine - I left it… all I ate was the egg and bacon. The tea was the only decent thing here. Do yourselves a favour and swerve this place - how they call themselves a cafe serving English breakfast is embarrassing!! Dreadful

Came here today with my son and partner. The place is looking run down and looks grubby. The food was average. But whilst we were trying to eat out food their was loads of small flies around our table . It did put us off our food. It is a shame its been taken over as the previous guys were lovely, happy and welcoming. Now that they've been taken over its gone down hill and staff are miserable.

We love this restaurant and used to go there a lot when we lived in the area but always make sure we visit when we are in Bicester usually to take Mum out for Breakfast, Jenny's has such a good choice on the menu, service always spot on and nice and hot tasty food and one of the best places for a good breakfast and a Late which is what we all had. Looking forward to our next visit and we highly recommend.

We were staying at the local Premier Inn but didnt want to eat at Brewers Fayre. We googled cafes and Jennys was recommended. It is a small cafe with a large menu! We ate her on 3 mornings and were never disappointed. All the food is fresh and good quality. No fatty bacon here. The staff were all smiling and friendly. The cafe was clean and tidy. The prices were low and meals good value. I would recommend this place to everyone that wants a well cooked, quality, good breakfast. They do other foods as well, desserts, pancakes, sandwiches, burgers etc but we were always out during the day. Well done to all here.

We decided to meet our friends who live in Bicester on the way on our holiday to the Isle of Wight. They suggested Jennys as a place we could go for brunch as not having gone to Bicester before, was easy to find and a good car park was opposite in the market place. Well first impressions, Jennys was spotlessly clean and we had a warm welcome from the staff. They made a fuss of my sons aged 5 and 1 and we had a coffee whilst we browsed the extensive menu. The latte we had was one of the best ever. They have a wide range of dishes, and deserts and drinks, probably is something for everyone. My wife and i went for the all day breakfast and my elder son had chicken nuggets and chips. The food was served piping hot and was a good portion. The kitchen is at the back of the restaurant so you could see your food being cooked. The food was served promptly and they didnt rush you, was nice to sit around chatting, and the staff joined in, asking about our holiday plans. The food is reasonably priced and i thought it was good value for money. When we paid the bill they gave my sons a lolly each, which was lovely. We would happily come back to Jennys when next in the area. Thank you for a lovely meal.

We stopped off in Bicester for a bite to eat and a stroll while travelling home from a weekend away and at first it seemed as if we had stepped through a time warp. Is that really a Wimpy over there? Yes, there are apparently a smattering of them still operating up and down the country but none near me. And there's another familiar logo and name from the last century - Jenny's, though now it has been upgraded to 'cafe and bistro.' We were there on a Sunday morning and sat down for a leisurely drink and a snack, well-filled sausage roll and tasty eggs on toast, and we had great fun travelling down memory lane as we checked out the menu for old favourites from our youth while noticing some more modern meals. Friendly welcome, efficient service, and plenty of locals seem to agree. Now, can anyone point me in the direction of a surviving Kardmohah coffee bar or the last Golden Egg still operating?

Decided to have a rest here as a family member recommended Jenny's. We had a warm welcome told we could sit where we liked and given ample opportunity to choose from the menue. we both had a cold drink served with a PLASTIC straw (we are adults why do we need a straw?). we also ordered scone and jam. There was a bit of a wait. when they did finally arrive they were small megre fruit scones comercially made dry heavy and clawing they were also pre buttered???? why do we need them pre buttred? The small jars of jam were also warm! I am from Devonshire we know how to bake scones and I am happy to teach the "chef" how to make a basic scone. I grant you I was asked if everything was ok.Resisting as I was with company and needed to be elsewhere..

My bf and I are regular customers here. The staff are very friendly and very welcoming. This is probably the friendliest cafe we have ever been to which is also one of the reasons why my boyfriend and I love coming here! We often go for breakfast here and the breakfast we think is really good! Although I am not a big fan of the taste of the sausages they use, I prefer the cumberland ones. The breakfast is still very good. We have also tried lunch and both had burgers which was actually really nice.My boyfriend and I love coming here and have already recommended it to people to try it out!Keep up the good work

I can only wish this place continued success, they have been in town for years, have been totally disrespected by local councils allowing other burger bars ect to open up, you know what to expect here, they deliver every time, cheap eats, comfortable surroundings and good service, locals should support this place and it’s nice to see they appear to have a friendly regular customer base.

Having looked at the picture in the window of the omelette meal, I decided to go in and try one. What turned up at the table was nothing like the photo and tasted disgusting. It was burnt and full of grease. I took the meal up to the cashier and complained. The chef blamed the cheese and tomato filling and just said that I was to pay £5 because I had eaten some chips, beans and salad. Give the place a miss and try the Wimpey for a good fry up.

I went into Jenny's at Sunday lunch time. The picture of the restaurant on the heading should be superseded by the new bright front. Very clean inside and much brighter than the old. Steady service as the food is cooked freshly, hence a small wait. On my visit the place was well packed but the small wait was worth it. Perfect eggs added to a very tidy and well presented plate with very clean cutlery delivered to the table. Afterwards I saw the black pudding and wished I'd added that but suffice to say I only needed a small meal in the evening as the Baruch I had filled me and I'm no shrinking violet when it comes to eating food. I recommend it. Mid price but when the food is cooked as well as it was and with e generous portion its value for money and tummy

Don't even bother to go there if you want at least a decent meal. It wasn't even average, it was bad! Really bad! The "Spanish" omelette was tasteless and weird and the maple syrup pancakes (if you can call them that, they tasted like cardboard and they looked like cardboard) were just awful. That was not maple syrup, it was just caramelised sugar which became rock hard and obviously inedible. I believe they have no idea what maple syrup is! We were so shocked by the lower than mediocre food that we forgot to take at least one photo. Shocked! The orange juice tasted like feet. At least they didn't charge us for those horrible pancakes. I'll never go there again. It looks really nice inside since the upgrade and the staff are very welcoming and friendly but that's it. They desperately need a proper chef there. What a joke of a restaurant.

Thought we would try the newly refurbished Jenny’s for lunch. First impressions, much more modern and cleaner than before the referb. But that’s where it stops. The place is a bit soulless, very quiet and no background music. Lack of WiFi too which is common place in cafes and restaurants nowadays. The lunch was ok. Panini had little filling, overkill on the pesto and hardly any chicken. My partners roll wasn’t great. The coffees were fine. Overall, you get what you paid for. This place will attract the all day breakfast folk and anyone on a budget. Nice enough but won’t be our first choice next time.

We use to really enjoy Jenny's restaurant but over the years it appears to have gone down hill and with so much compition at the moment quite frankly I'm surprised it's still going! We ate there recently and the staff appeared to be standing around chatting to an apparent friend while we were waiting for our food which hadn't even started cooking! In actual fact we received our drinks before we received our food!! So we're sat there for a good 20 mins before we were taken care of which was a huge let down as the waiter didn't seem to care either when I asked how long it would be he said "just coming" and carried on talking to his friend! It wasn't just coming at all!! The shop was empty also just myself and my two kids and an elderly lady who nearly gave up waiting for her cup of tea as she was running out of time for the bus. It would appear that Jenny's have clearly given up and I doubt we'll be returning.

Biggest thing to compliment this place on is the customer service. I was very impressed with all members of staff serving on the 3 mornings I visited for a pastry and coffee breakfast whilst staying nearby. Friendly, efficient and I watched them acknowledge regulars by name. If I lived nearby this would definitely be my choice of place to go in Bicester. Coffee was very good. Had decaf flat whites, regular flat whites and a lovely piccolo coffee (slightly larger than a macchiato). Tasty range of pastries (I especially loved the raspberry croissant). Totally recommend you give it a try.
