Torino Lounge in Cherwell

I ordered a burger for my son who can’t eat tomato’s and we asked to take out the lettuce And add cheese they came with a burger 30 minutes after I ordered it and they came with a burger with tomatoes lettuce and no cheese so I tell them I wanted it without the lettuce and tomatoes and the cheese they bring over a burger with nothing but a patty and bun and I ask them for cheese and then they disappear for about 10 minutes and so I go up to ask where my food was and they said they never had that order so I had to order it again and pay again it eventually came fries where nice wouldn’t come again nor recommend

Lovely place to eat with some different brunch selections on the menu. I had Shakshuka which was very flavorful. Good, pleasant service, I had not been sitting long before a server came to take an order but I opted to order online via a QR code. All in all a relaxed visit .

The new manager has changed the place. I think his name is Wiktor. Great fella. Customer service was absolutely amazing and the place was clean. I ordered bang bang chicken. Will definitely be returning for it.

Lovely place, friendly staff, good menu, will definitely return! The menu is vast and plenty of choice, clean space and a bit of gem in the area.

This does what all "lounges" do up and down the country. Perfectly good food at a reasonable price with a nicer environment than a Wetherspoons.

Stopped here for breakfast with my darling hubby who is a connoisseur of the traditional Full English Breakfast. He was a bit sceptical, but the friendly QUICK service, coffee and breakfast won him over. I have only one suggestion, please offer the option of extra eggs

Women on the till yesterday 10/09 needs to brush up on her customer service skills! Food and drinks were nice shame she’s letting the place down

Food was OK, and didn't have to wait long for the food... But waiter/waitress service absolutely appalling. We were a party of 11... We mostly ordered on the app, but no one came over to check if our meals were OK, and no one emptied our dirty plates or glasses, walking past the table with empty trays, it wouldn't have harmed to have cleared the dishes. In fact, they cleared dirty plates from empty tables in front of us, although clearly leaving ours. Our plates sat on the table for well over an hour before I beckoned a waiter and a waitress over to clear the table, which they reluctantly did so. Although I had to keep asking them to continue to clear. At one point, I believe they were talking about me at the end of the bar. As a customer service facilitator and a previous waitress on the past.... Come on guys, where's your manners and customer service skills!! Your managers need to get a grip on this and train your staff!

Sorry Torino, it was all very average and food and drink was a bit disappointing, staff were lovely and I had no problem with them at all.

Hit and miss. Have been 4 or 5 times but on two occasions have ended up going elsewhere as the wait has been too long. Fairly busy, but not full and told 45 minute wait for lunch. Not a reliable choice, probably won’t be a first choice in future due to uncertainty in whether you’ll get served in a timely manner. Shame, it’s pretty good otherwise.

Pleasant spacious surroundings with plenty of seating and interesting quirky decorative style. Had a lounge breakfast. Too much really, I had thought of a light meal only, but this was a heavy meal. However they don't warm the plates. The thick plates take any heat out of the food which is luke warm at best. Shame really.

My wife has been off work for the last 5 weeks due to illness, which, she is still awaiting answers and tests from Doctors. On the day of our visit it happened to be my Wife's birthday, and this was the first time in weeks we had been in a public place to eat, her anxiety was through the roof, literally scared to eat in case it made her illness worse, but did not want to spoil her big day! As we arrived, we chose a table and sat down. The music was a tad too loud, but we remained where we were as the only other tables were in the middle, given my wife's anxiety we felt best to sit at the side. My wife and I ordered via the app and waited for our food and drink. During this time, the "casual" non uniformed staff seemed to all just be having a laugh at a mates, rather than being at work. Staff seen drinking red bull, coffee's etc at the bar, whilst food sat on the pass going cold (the chef had rang the bell). Minutes later I was disgusted. Our order had now gone on to the chef's screen and as he looked at it with all the special comments and requests, he just stood and shook his head and then looked right in my direction as he saw which customers were asking for so many requests. He then seemed to be talking to another chef who did the same, totally disgusting. On your menu it states that you take allergies etc very serious, yet the chef's made it look like it was a big problem. My wife has been advised to eat "bland food" whilst she has this illness whilst tests are carried out, so naturally, wanted no butter, nothing fried or any oil. In addition no hollandaise either. It really took a lot for her to even eat out so these simple requests should not be an issue, yet the chef's made it clear from their body language and gestures that we were a nuisance The drinks arrived, yet I had ordered the freshly squeezed OJ at a ridiculous cost of £5.50. It had so much ice in there was a layer of water on top by the time it got to me and tasted no different to low quality supermarket juice. As we waited for our food, what became my breakfast (pancakes with extra sides) had been sat under the lights for a good 8/9 minutes before it came to me. Prior to the food arriving, the waiter (black t-shirt, shorts, chain around neck) put the dirty cutlery on the table and said nothing Moments later he put our food down and said nothing and just walked off. I looked around to attract some attention as we wanted sauces and maybe another drink. Eventually one of the two girls behind the bar came over and asked if we were ok as we were looking around - to which I asked for some ketchup, which seemed to take an age! My breakfast was naturally luke warm at best as it had been sat under the lights for so long, bacon was greasy and cold, sausage was acceptable and hash browns were just ok. At just under £35 it was not of a standard that I would expect for that cost. I could go to the local 4 star hotel and have two breakfasts for the same price and that would include unlimited drinks, cereal, fruits and pastries along with a fresh cooked breakfast and limitless toast and jams. In addition at least we would not see the chef's shake their heads and staring "glares" when we ask for simple requests! We used to love Torino Lounge, yet think it will be a long time, if ever, that we use one again. My wife did not know about the Chef's behaviour until we left, when I told her she burst into tears. Not great on her birthday at all!

Accidentally stumbled into another one of these places (last one was Abingdon) Over the moon - amazing service, amazing food, amazing value! 5*

Called in on spec and was pleasantly surprised. We decided on a late breakfast/brunch. Our granddaughters were happy with the colouring/quiz sheets and crayons, even happier with a tuna melt, chips and milkshake. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the place has a nice, relaxed feel about it.

Certainly highly recommended, first class.

Surly waiting staff who need to be trained in what hospitality means. Not at all welcoming and didn't explain that you have to order at the bar or use a QR Code. That's in tiny writing on a card tucked behind condiments. Appears to be a place to take small children. Beer came short measured. See photo. Place could have great atmosphere if the staff were more smiley, welcoming, friendly and informative. Filling in the tomato and mozzarella panini is stingy and the sweet potato fries portion small so not good value for money. Miami Brunch was tasty and better value.

The best place in Bicester for breakfast/lunch - great choice, if not a tad expensive.

Ordered 3 adult meals and 2 kids meals. When the food arrived, the waitress took my meal back straight away due to there being raw egg on it. I’m thankful for this, but then the food never arrived throughout the entire time it took everyone to eat. Including two toddlers. I then requested a refund due to the fact that the chef hadn’t even started making the meal. Only making other tables food. I was compensated with a free dessert and got a refund for my meal which I’m grateful for. But the poor experience of sitting there watching everyone else is eating and you are waiting to receive your food and it not arriving, is very disappointing!

Fantastic food and service. Very happy, fast, and energetic service with a smile. The maple barbecue sauce and brisket were fantastic. I'll definitely be returning to try the Tapas menu too!

A tad expensive for what we had. Mind you, our sandwich and bap were tasty. Still, hospitality must make a profit. Quite loud music all the time, which totally spoilt the experience. If places must have music, please make it BACKGROUND music.

The food was really delicious, they have a big selection and also many vegan/gluten free options. I definitely can recommend their lemonades. There is not really a personal service, you have to order online and also can't pay in cash unfortunately.

Great place, amazing vibe, cool music, friendly & helpful staff, yummy food and very reasonably priced and even though it was very busy when we went (Saturday lunchtime)the food wait was not at all long. A real nice mix of people and ages too which I liked.

Big menu, covers pretty much all you'd want (we were there for breakfast). Decor is really well done, nice atmosphere, staff are really attentive and happy, really good vibe. Food was really good, served quickly, all nice and convenient through an app, though you can order the old fashioned way too! If you're in the area, I'd really recommend it for breakfast.

The staff couldn't do more for us and our nervous rescue dog. This meant we were able to relax and enjoy our food and drink knowing Rosie (the dog) was also relaxed and accounted for. We did think about maybe going for our last drink on the walk home but we thought with how relaxed Rosie was and how nice it was for us to be able to relax we ordered this pudding.

Great place and good ambience. Have been multiple times here and we all love the food and food options. It’s a kids friendly place with enough high chairs and toys to accommodate them and keep them occupied while we can have food here. We are always well received and seated at the requested table. We get a great menu option which is detailed and labelled clearly which helps. Having a vegan menu helps the vegan community. Highly recommended place in Bicester!!!

Lost a customer today, I am going to change my rating from 5 to 2 as the waiter that was on 12/05/24 at 10:30 was vary rude to me and other customers banging the please wait to be seat sign down and not vary politely. I am shocked as this has the best breakfast in Bicester.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food was lovely and children are very welcome. They have a vegan and a gluten-free menu which is brilliant.

I've had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Torino Lounge multiple times and each visit has been delightful. Great food and service!

I like Torino. It's walls are covered in paintings,prints,and mirrors. There is a small book drop. It has a sort of Bohemian French atmosphere of years ago. The result is it manages to attract a wide variety of customers which is lovely. You will see mums with their kids, elderly people, some LGBTQ+, couples etc.On the whole its prices are reasonable. It does tapas plates at £3.50 each with reductions on multi buy. It sells burgers. All day breakfasts including vegetarian. There seems to be quite a few vegetarian options.It also has interesting main meals. I love the fresh orange juice. The staff are friendly and helpful if a bit chaotic when very busy, which is most lunchtimes. They also have serious concerns about allergies and try hard to be helpful. They do special offers on various days of the week. It can get a bit noisy.

Every time I visit Bicester, this is my location, very friendly staff, my husband loved this place too, all our German friends and neighbors knew about it because it was just our happy place.

Very nice and local experience after shopping in the outlet. True locals here and half of the price as in the shopping outlet at (very) decent portions - the big lounge breakfast (served all day) feeds three, deducting one star only as the mushrooms arrived cold on that dish, but beef brisket chilli is highly recommended!

I love that place. It's a very cosy and warm atmosphere. Very often, change waiters but always very polite and friendly.

Tasty food, wide choice, QR-service

Visited twice during a weekend stay for our breakfast. We enjoyed the Pancakes, Poached Eggs & Lounge Breakfast. All were delicious, service was very quick and staff friendly. Only slight niggle was cold mushrooms at both visits but still edible and didn't stop us coming back again. Dog friendly throughout, providing water bowls for each pooch. Love the touch of the blankets being provided if you're sitting outside. Can either order at the table using a QR code on your phone or order at the bar. Lovely little place :)

Good service and dog friendly. Nice Americano but the smashed avocado with a poached egg left a lot to be desired. The ciabatta base was cold, untoasted and rubbery, like it was uncooked. The tomato and avocado was tasteless and cold. The warm poached egg was fine but sat on top of everything else that so cold, the combination was unpleasant. Not sure we’ll be going back in a hurry.

This was my first time here, and it was a great experience. The food was good, hot and fresh. The workers were very friendly and helpful, and the service was very prompt. I recommend this spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Torino is a nice location to relax and enjoy a meal or drink.

Had a meal on Saturday , Torino Lounge was busy and there was a nice atmosphere. I have given the food 3 stars as the portions were a bit on the small size for my son and myself but the meals were tasty. We found the restaurant cold from the draft from the door , dont think the heater above the door was working or if it was not correctly.

popped in on way past Bicester, very warm, cosy and friendly restaurant with great flavours for both drinks and food. Chocolate milkshake was so good we had two and the tapas was fantastic

the service from Niamh was Devine alongside the spectacular atmosphere. She truly placed a large smile on my face. I would in fact return, just for her amazing service. Thankyou Niamh. You are the reason I have faith in humanity.

Very cosy place to eat and hang out. The breakfast took a while to come out, but it was super tasty. Also really appreciated the little sticker on the milk to indicate it's soy. Definitely would love to go back again!

The 'Lounge' bars never disappoint. The staff are always nice and friendly, the food is good. I particularly like the bacon butty with streaky bacon.

Definitely coming back to taste more of their delicious food. After my shopping I was just strolling around the area where I found this place. Give it a try for my lunch and they never disappoint me. Superb atmosphere inside and food which I ordered was yummy with real taste.

If you want the best breakfast in Bicester. Come here! The Big Lounge Breakfast with a Mocha,(pictured, without tomato or black pudding) are extremely delicious. The staff were super attentive and friendly, constantly keeping on top of cleaning and the decor is quirky, similar to Cosy Club!

Top notch as always. We’ve been several times since Torino opened and always have a good experience. Sometimes just drinks, sometimes as a group and sometimes just us and the kids - the menu covers everything and the drinks are great. One of our kids has an allergy and this is always dealt with professionally - food coming out clearly labelled but also looking/tasting great. Highly recommend Torino lounge to anyone considering a visit - the brunch menu is a particular highlight.

Went there during lunch for a work event (not the first time either) and even though we submitted our meal choices 4 days prior to the event we waited an hour and a half for the food and was told that some of the dishes that we pre-ordered were not available. This is not the first time that we experienced this issue. Very disappointing ….. we will definitely not be back any time soon

Quite nice inside, decent music. Popped in day after my wedding for a lunch cocktail, tipped on the app before I drank it, big mistake... ended up with a flat cola for £9, then rude barstaff who have basically convinced me not to go back here again

Tapas Tuesday. Ordered from table once we got our heads around the wine to select (Not clear which is a house wine). Food lovely and served nice and hot.

Had brunch here and the food wasn't great. The service was fine but the brunch tasted as though it was reheated. Normally I have very good experiences at lounges but this time the food wasn't as good as usual.

Tasty food but chips portion is very mean... Not a fan of the little paper cone giving the illusion of a larger portion... Maybe understaffed when we were there - lots of uncleared tables. When we asked for the table to be cleaned the waiter swept alot of it onto my mum's new husband's lap. I thought it was funny, but he didn't.

Enjoyed lunch here, food was great and loved the fact that you can order online by scanning the qr code and then get everything to your table.

Fine enough for drinks but the food is disgusting. I’ve eaten here 3 times and each time… there’s something amiss. You leave feeling sick, like the food has been frozen for too long or they’ve used too much oil. It’s not fresh - the vast menu is a red flag: you can’t have that much on offer and expect it to be fresh. Some offerings are downright repulsive.
