Visited for my Dad’s 60th last week. Mauro and colleagues went fantastic and hilarious the whole way through! They really made sure we had a special visit. Food was excellent as per usual! Highly recommend this branch.

We usually have chateaubriand when visiting Miller and Carter but decided to try the Sunday lunch sharing board this time. It was delicious and would definitely have again. Great service from all staff, especially Octavian.

We were served by Angie, who made us feel very welcome at Miller & Carter. She took our order with great patience as we kept changing our mind. The food was perfect as was the service and atmosphere.

Our server (Mauro) was very friendly, knowledgeable and made some excellent suggestions. It wasn't our first time at this restaurant and it won't be the last. See you next time!

I had a fabulous birthday. Octavian was our waiter. He looked after us all night. Very patient as we were talking alot. Friendly polite just a wonderful waiter. Very carefully regarding one of our party who had a nut allergy. Diligent and extremely helpful. He made our night better. The food was also exquisite tasted beautiful. This is why we always come back to you in kidlington. Thank you for my lovely birthday meal x

I'm not much of a food person usually but even I could tell that the steaks were far superior to what i have had before. We had the butchers block sharing board and were not disappointed. Its a bit pricier than I'd normally go for on an evening out but not ridiculously so - and honestly worth the extra if you want something tastier. I had a couple of the non alcoholic drinks and their mocktails were very nice as were the standard non alcoholic drinks. All in all a lovely dinner out and will go again some time!

1st time to M&C Steakhouse & we were not disappointed. Great welcome. Attentive, polite, professional staff. Interior was attractive and welcoming and you weren't sitting on top of each other. Table staff knew their product and were clear and thorough. Then the food....wow...delicious, great quality, good portions and the taste of the steak was fabulous. Veg was fresh & the menu description matched what you were served. The desserts were varied & yum! A special comment to the highly helpful, polite, efficient, knowledgeable Alina who served us. Great place, great staff, great food. Looking forward to going back next time.

Had a meet up with some colleagues over dinner. The atmosphere was lovely as soon as we came in, drinks were ordered promptly and our server Alina was super friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, came out quickly and made the whole table finally fall silent 😹 Would recommend Kidlington miller and carter to anyone, especially for all the friendly servers who work there

It was okay, but for a specialist steak bar, it was not the best I have ever had. Large, crowded and noisy. Not sure that I would go again.

Love the helpful team here, we visited quite a few times with babies and never seemed to be too much trouble for them, they’re always accommodating. Food is good and usually served quickly as well. A special thank you to assistant manager Mauro, who seems to be on shift every time we visited, and we enjoyed his warm and welcoming service very much every time.

Absolutely love the steak at miller and carter. It is of excellent quality and a fair price considering. The rib-eye is superb. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff are always professional and friendly.

Very enjoyable noticed a few young waitresses working from last time we were there, did see one of our favourite waitresses walking in, but never got her serving us, but young lady who did was very good, friendly, knowledgeable & efficient. So food was as per usual superb, hence why we come back

Steaks were lovely with a great selection of sauces. We were all pleasantly surprised with the unusual salad wedges. Georgia was a fantastic server. We all really enjoyed our meal.

Slightly disappointed with this one I’m trying not to be too negative but I came away feeling underwhelmed. Some context: me and my family come once a year for a meal as a Christmas tradition. The lettuce wedge had decreased in size, right out the gate we were already peeved. We were sat in a brightly lit out of the way room which had none of the ambience of the main restaurant which took away from the experience and that’s not even to mention the fact we ended up next to all the family with wild children even though there seemed to be plenty of space elsewhere. Our mains were nice but just nice like any other chain restaurant something miller and carter has done an alright job in masking in the past. The servers were perfectly pleasant, they did their job-although they forgot some food. All in all I don’t want to kick up a massive fuss as there was nothing inherently bad I just felt slight disappointment-dissapointment one should not feel when paying £150 for 3 mains and 3 drinks-things have definitely got worse this year and I will consider going somewhere else next year for my Christmas meal with the family.

It was an amazing dining out experience with our family. Staff were fabulous, friendly, efficient and willing to go the extra mile to make the visit a success. Staff are easy to talk to, accommodating and offer a friendly atmosphere to dine in. Will definitely be heading back soon for another outstanding meal because food was 5***** and staff were too.

I would like to start of with the positive that I could not fault the food in anyway shape or form it was spot on!! But unfortunately our waiter 'shelley' was rude, felt very rushed to order the food with very short sharp answers. A very poor service made us feel very uncomfortable, banging chairs and tables around, cleaning cutlery right behind our table very loudly making us feel like we should not have been there. Being a quiet Tuesday evening would not have expected this service at all. I am really disappointed and will not be returning.

I have never been so disappointed with a meal. A Christmas get together with friends was spoiled by the Festive Menu. The starters were enjoyable, Cheddar Mushrooms, a very large portion and Beetroot Gravalax, unusual and refreshing. However, after quite a long delay, the main course arrived and it all went downhill. We were warned the plates were hot but were stone cold, the roast potatoes were deep fried skins, one of mine was straight out of the fridge and tasted stale. The rest of the meal was just about warm. We spoke to the manager, who was charming and very polite. He took the meals away and after a fairly long wait returned with the same food placed on different plates just "reheated" the food was still cold. We were offered free dessert as compensation. We requested drinks which we were given. We ordered desserts only to be disappointed again, the chocolate brownie was very stodgy and the poached pear was two very small halves of canned pear with some unidentifiable flavouring, the accompanying coconut ice cream was quite pleasant. Although the manager made a generous deduction the meal for three was over £90 and what had been planned as an enjoyable reunion was one big disappointment. In fairness I have been to this Miller and Carter many times and had some good meals. Unfortunately I won't be returning or recommending .

Having been to M&C before, I had certain expectations. Therefore, I was taken aback when there was no front-of-house staff to welcome us and take my booking information. The surprise only grew as I had to wait for their arrival. Granted, it was a busy Saturday night, but isn't that precisely when vigilance and peak performance are most needed? Our drinks orders were taken fairly quickly, yet they didn't arrive for quite some time. Again, I understand it was a busy evening, but surely this should be accounted for when scheduling staff? Additionally, I noticed staff members, including the front-of-house, hugging each other. This gave me some insight into why I had to wait to be seated. If there's time for such interactions, there should be ample time to focus on providing excellent service to the diners. I also observed some new faces among the staff, which led me to assume that the team working this particular Saturday night might have been less experienced than those I've encountered in the past. As always, the food was delightful and I will likely return.

This was our third visit, and we’ll definitely keep coming back! The customer service and atmosphere were fantastic. Our waiter, Octavian, was incredibly attentive, and the service was impressively quick. The balance of price and quality is excellent as well.

Last Saturday evening, I visited this restaurant with friends to enjoy some quality meat, and it did not disappoint! The meat was top-notch, perfectly cooked, and the steaks were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The sides were also excellent, complementing the meal perfectly. The atmosphere was lovely, but unfortunately, the older waitress serving us didn’t seem to be having the best day. At first, we thought she was joking, but her behavior turned out to be a bit inappropriate for the setting and the occasion. Of course, we all have bad days at work, and it didn’t ruin our evening. I’ll definitely return and hope for an even better experience next time. If all goes well, I’ll happily upgrade my rating to 5 stars!

Had an extended family get-together here. Fantastic food, excellent service. A little pricy, but worth it.

Food is always good however. Management seem very disorganised. From walking in you feel like you looking for someone to assist. The venue is very dirty and dated in comparison to the ones we have eaten at before. We were a large party and our waiter did try. Slow at clearing up and we were buying drinks straight from the bar as there was no way he could do more

This was my first time visiting M&C for lunch, and it was a great experience. We had the option of choosing between a set-price lunch menu and a regular menu, both of which offered a wide variety of tempting dishes. We decided to go with the set-price menu at £16.95 for two courses, which was excellent value. The food was fresh and full of flavour, which was plentiful, and the service was great - the staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Great atmosphere and I will definitely return.
