Miller & Carter Steakhouse in Cherwell

Nice meal, friendly staff , just overworked as not enough of them for the bookings on this friday lunch time.............

Lovely meal out, food was excellent but the service made our evening. Greeted by a lovely man (didn’t get his name) super friendly and helpful. Then we met Angie who was fantastic, best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Definitely would go back!

Family and friends gathering. Nice ambience and friendly environment. Mauro was a brilliant waiter for the whole group. Food was lovely and everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

Me and my girlfriend was hosted by Mauro and he was absolutely brilliant. Spot on with everything, friendly and also very funny and smiley. Food was amazing too.

Really like this three course Sunday menu (far prefer it to any Sunday roast). Good value (lots of food, you do need an appetite). Great service too, thanks to Gonzalo.

The place is absolutely gorgeous. We went in and it took a good 10min to be acknowledged and seated. Place wasn’t busy as we were there for an early dinner. Service slow and that why the two star if felt like they were everywhere and no where forgetting side or water that we asked till we finished our meal. Food was actually great even if we received cold fries and had to send back. Service let the evening down a lot.

I have been to other Miller & Carters, but Kidlington is definitely my preferred. I like the darker ambiance and think the seating is well arranged. The food is generally on point but yesterday was not quite up to par. We have had Angie as our server a couple of times and she completes the whole experience 🙂

Had a different Sunday roast which was yummy and the pudding was also good. Really great service from Angie who was a lot of fun without being intrusive. The house wine was delicious and the food was cooked well - really tasty would definitely revisit.

Highly recommend, Family of 6 which 3 of the children younger excellent experience the waiter so happy helpful and calming with the children. Free parking Food was quick and hot

Highly recommend coming to Miller and Carter! We came for a double date and we were looked after amazingly by Georgia. She was very funny and kind, look after us really well. The food was amazing, juicy and delicious. Decent price! We are very happy to join the desert club (inside joke) 😀 P.s only warning would be the car park, limited spaces

I had the opportunity to visit Miller and Steakhouse yesterday evening with a few friends. The ambience was lovely and the staff was great as well, specifically Sherman who had served us. 😀 I had an amazing dining experience thanks to Sherman. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From the moment we were seated, he made us feel welcomed and very comfortable. He had such a positive attitude and was very professional which truly enhanced our experience. The food is absolutely amazing and is worth the money as well. Overall, I had a great time and can see myself coming back again! ☺️ Thanks Judy Jose

We were really well looked after by Luke this evening. He was warm, friendly and extremely helpful. The food was wonderful too. We had a lovely evening.

Food was lovely and steak cooked to perfection, and at such a good price! The staff, especially our waitress Paula were very welcoming. I felt slightly concerned as my baby has found his voice and started screaming in what was a quiet environment. Luckily, all the waitresses and other diners were quite amused by him!

Always enjoy the food. Presentation could of been better Our waiter Luke was exceptionally good and had me and friends in stitches.

I ordered a Fillet steak which was very nice and cooked how I asked.Then a Lemon Tarte for pud all lovely and the Lady looking after us was brill "Ange".

We all decided to go for a feast and my sister recommended miller & carter what a choice that was. Everyone went for the 3 courses and are all rather full. Food was fantastic drinks where strong and tasty plus milli are waiter was even better from start to finish beautiful smile and beautiful service what made the experience even better 😊

We were passing through and didn’t have a lot of time and explained this to the team. They fully understood our situation and were absolutely brilliant. Octavian and team were brisk and service was superb. Friendly, polite and efficient. We could not fault them. Food was excellent and went down a treat. Lovely evening out. Starters were divine. Steaks were perfectly cooked (Absolutely go for the chimichurri sauce, I was in heaven). And the desserts were perfect (give me banoffee or give me death). Luke was a wonderfully warm and friendly presence and always helpful. Definitely going to come back.

I really enjoyed a recent meal at this restaurant. The food and service are second to none! The menu is varied and also has options besides steak. I went there at lunchtime and although it was quite busy, there was no delay in getting food - it did not feel as though you were rushed. It's conveniently located next to the main road so is easy to find. I would highly recommend it!

Overall awesome experience. Managed to get a window seat and great music in the background for the ambience. Big shoutout goes to our waitress Angie, who went above and beyond with her recommendations and sharing her expertise, and made our restaurant experience that much better.

Angie our waiter was very polite, outgoing but professional at the same time making the whole experience pleasurable, however some of the food we ate wasn't up to scratch in my opinion, but I've had worse elsewhere hence why it was still given a 3 star but happy to go back again

Booked our table for our anniversary today, our server was Luke and he was 10/10! Couldn't ask for a better one, very honest, open and very easy to talk too! Luke made it the best experience. The food was delicious and came at good time, the set menu was amazing price for what you get. Highly recommend to anyone, it does get busy (obviously the food is amazing).

Sherman, The Great! We've been dining in the steakhouse today for lunch, had a wonderful experience, Sherman guided us through the menu, advised with the wine selection and made lasting impression. Food was amazing, wine was great, lunch deal is a way to go, good value for money (there's enough food in there, trust me). We were looked after throughout the stay, great attention to detail, Sherman is a great chatter, what a lad, 10/10, would come back again ^^

I went here for an impromptu dinner and it was so lovely. The staff were super friendly, especially our server Octavian! The atmosphere is warm and gives off a cosy cottage experience. We ordered from the set menu which was really great value for money. If I’m ever in town, I’ll be sure to come back.

Good steaks are hard to get in the uk. But this chain really do excellent steaks. Whether you would like a small meal or a large meal they can counter for all your needs including how you like it cooked. Highly recommend.

Went out for my brother’s birthday, to get his full rack of ribs, he says they were a 10/10 as usual! Service was fantastic! Very prompt, a bit of a delay on the fries, but our server, Luke, brought us over an extra portion of chunky chips as compensation, as well as great customer service all round! :)

Great place for lunch or dinner, family or friends. We had a great lunch, and all ordered from the set menu. Lots of choices for the set menu, and great value at £16.50 for 2 courses. Wine choices and coffee good. Service was excellent and our waiter Octavian couldn't be more helpful or more pleasant. We will definitely return.
