The café service lets this place down. The cashier gave my coffee away to someone else then she said "it's not my fault". It's like dealing with a child.

every saturday in a very busy time after park run this coffee shop is crazy busy but staff are fast big selection off food and very clean with high standards coffee thanks i recommend it 100%

¡El asado es increíble! La cocina del oso es siempre una gran comida. Lástima por el gerente del bar, menos profesional, indiferente pérdida de tiempo que he visto, y esto es en Brighton, tierra de estudiantes. Estuve esperando que estuvieran mejor durante meses, sin mejoras. Ve por la comida, pero sigue avisando o te olvidarán. No es culpa de Bear, sólo del bar. Dudo que el próximo cambio de propietario ayude.

Well we had a high tea gift, so we decided to do something different from the normal sandwich and cream cake and tea So glad we did, we was greeted with welcoming lady's staff. They came and offered cocktails and they were fantastic. The high tea was a mixture of chicken, burger, etc, they are small but then came the sweet, After that two shots of vodka to finish. Well both myself and wife was happy and had a great time. Definitely be coming here again soon. Lady's staff, keep up the fantastic work. R

Had 2 4 1 blueberry smoked wings, was super lush! Jon the manager was great and knowledgeable for recommendations and providing wonderful atmosphere

Good solid pub for drinking beer in. Great range of beers including local cask options - their own brewery features strongly. Recommended.

Had been recommended the roasts here on a Sunday by friends, and we weren’t disappointed. A good portion of food (not completely piled high and overwhelming like a few places), hot and tasty. Friendly, attentive service, with a wide range of drinks. Premium and Magnum wines available too which generally is a bit unusual for pubs. Highly recommended.

Deliciosamente fresco y una gran selección de rellenos. Tuvimos un desayuno bagel y salazón de ternera con encurtido y mostaza. ¡Qué bueno!

Reuben who works on Sundays is a delightful server. Vibes are great here, nice coffee, delicious food - 10/10!

Brunch is good and served for ages which is a plus! Drinks are nice but can take a while when busy and can fill up quick (a good sign though)

Nice place very vibey, definitely on its way to being 'the spot' in the laines. Only thing for me was that the staff weren't very chatty and the coffee is a bit pricey. Will be back though

I ordered a large cake for my partner's big gay birthday party this last week- a huge vegan lemon cake with lots of decoration and a photo printed in icing. (See the photo for a laugh). Not only was the cake stunning and perfect looking, it also tasted incredible!! Super moist and delicious. All of the guests were raving about it and going back for seconds! I'm so grateful to you and we'll absolutely be ordering again. Thank you so much!
