The best restaurants in Brighton and Hove South East

Brighton has a lot of good restaurants but this is head and shoulders above anything else. Probably the best we’ve ever eaten anywhere including Michelin stars. Service is fantastic- friendly and attentive without being intrusive. It was hard to pick a favourite dish because they were all so good

CANNOT RATE THESE GUYS HIGHLY ENOUGH! We were lucky enough to have Big Slice cater for our wedding party and every single guest was overwhelmed by how good the pizza was! Nothing but great things to say. Great variety and service and such delicious pizza. I've woken up this morning with a pretty bad hangover and was thrilled to see left over pizza in the fridge. Tastes as good for breakfast as it did for dinner!

Was looking for a place to eat and found this on google - very lovely place! I had a salad which was awesome. The ladies working there are such sweethearts - make u feel really welcomed :)

Increíble ambiente relajado con comida encantadora. Cuando el personal se dio cuenta de que era el cumpleaños de mis compañeros sacaron un pequeño regalo, completo con velas y animaron a todos a cantar Feliz cumpleaños. Hemos recomendado y volveremos la próxima vez que estemos en Brighton

I can't begin to put how great this place is in words. Well, actually... I can. This is a delightful and exquisite little place with smoothies so beautiful that they would launch 1,000 ships, akin to Helen of Troy - which is quite handy, as it is nestled in the Brighton Fishing Quarters. A great range of drinks and food snacks. Caring, friendly and engaging staff and owner. I love it and you should pay a visit, if you happen to be in the area. A bonafide gem!

I had ice cream and it was really nice, my partner had a milkshake and it looked really good too. Would reccommend

Stumbled upon this place while in Brighton for a gig. Don't judge by the modest frontage. A small but delightful garden area at the rear means (with some imagination) you can transport yourself to a Greek island eaterie. Reasonable selection of drinks (alcoholic and non) but the food, the food, the food. Absolutely delicious, to the eye when served and to the palate when tasted.

Nice independent cafe, if you’re coffee fanatic I would highly recommend it

I have tried many places but the Quattro fromaggio from here is the best pasta dish I have ever had I would give 10 stars not five as it doesn’t do it justice in one word “fantastic”

This is a brilliant little coffee shop with amazing coffee and great little eats well the sandwiches on thick Italian bread are a delight and a yummy selection of sweet treats also awaits. The bread sold there chewy brown soda bread is delicious especially toasted. The staff and the owner are lovely. Fantastic customer service and rewards card for revisiting. We drive quite a long way just to go to this coffee shop. Introduced by our Sonny. So glad he did. Keep it up guys.

Touristes venus à Brighton pour quelques jours, nous avons énormément apprécié trouver le Meo Café et ses petits déjeuners à toute heure, prêt à nous accueillir après une grasse matinée ! Le service était nickel accueillant, poli et souriant, et les plats très bons. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le menu : certains plats étaient très simples et personnalisables, pour les moins aventureux (simples mais néanmoins délicieux), et d’autres plats plus élaborés et typiques de la région. Nous nous sommes régalés. Les tarifs sont peut-être légèrement plus élevés que d’autres cafés, mais nous les avons trouvés tout a fait justes pour le service proposé. Je terminerais bien en disant que nous y retournerons avec plaisir, mais en vérité nous y sommes retournés dès le lendemain pour un café glacé. Je recommande !

Tan pronto como se abrió la puerta el aroma fabuloso de los productos horneados nos golpeó! Tantos artículos para elegir, incluyendo sin gluten y delicia vegana. Servicio al cliente excepcional y alegre! Difícil de elegir, así que compramos bastantes cosas y ahora estamos sentados en casa en coma de galletas 😂 😋 Recomiendo encarecidamente a otros para visitar, no te decepcionará!

Incredible vegan pizza selection, me and my vegan buddy were stunned how good the pizza was, better than most pizzerias! Thank god we went here instead of pizza king. Owner is amazing and crafts the pizzas with serious attention to detail and clear passion.

The Round House is a superb place and the new menu is second to none and staff are out of the top draw especially Bella.
