Amazing coffee best in Brighton I would say it’s a long time since I had a great coffee and the one I had today has to be the best oat milk flat white I’ve ever had. Thank you :)

The coffee is very tasty, I highly recommend it. Cafe has a good ambience with a friendly Barista. Good to know a nice cafe is in my area. Total came to £18 for two people to have a nice coffee with some cakes so reasonably priced.

Very tasty coffee in a nice laid back atmosphere with chill music. A delightful place to read or get some work done.

I like filter coffee, a lot. To me nothing is as comforting and invigorating as a cup of fresh, hot, black filter coffee. Ideally made with good quality beans. Many coffee shops just don’t do it. There’s an espresso machine culture and the humble filter has fallen by the wayside; not to mention the association with bad coffee at motorway services and burnt dregs in workplace kitchens. Baker Street coffee fulfilled my need entirely. I walked in, was greeted with a smile, and, seeing filter on the wall board, I asked if there was any. The pot was empty but the barista was happy to make another if I didn’t mind waiting. I assured them it was worth the wait. Sat out the front to wait, not a very comfortable bench but I understand pavement real estate is lacking. I’ve had coffee there before (latte) and inside is fine, places to sit, people seem to like laptop working in there. They even had Borek once, which was yummy. After the expected wait, out came the same smiling barista; they apologised for the wait, and presented me with a cup (to go, as requested) of hot fresh filter coffee. I walked to a bench, sat down, and had the best cup of Joe I’ve had in ages. To me, filter coffee is entirely separate from espresso based drinks. It’s what an Americano or long black wish they were, a platonic ideal of coffee. Sweet without any sugar added, nice fruity acidity, not bitter or burnt or over dark (I’m guessing a light-medium or light roast. Mouth feel isn’t heavy, it’s lightly coating and juicy, almost like apple juice. Aftertaste is roasty and it leaves a lip smacking feeling. 10/10 Perfection. I’ll be going again, and actually asking what the coffee is next time!

Love this place. Hog roast sausage rolls direct for the oven and a perfectly smooth coffee to go with it. As good as it gets.

This is by far my favourite coffee shop in brighton. The staff are so friendly, the coffee is amazing and it is such a chill vibe it’s great to study i could honestly spend hours in here!

The wifi is spotty, so if you are coming here to work be weary. The inside is clean and the music is vibey, so perhaps I just had an off day. It is a lovely cafe to sit and read or do work. I had a not so good americano, and maybe by the other reviews I just went on an off day.

This is one of my best coffee places in Brighton but something went wrong recently. Staff used to whip up a superb coffee, without fail, but the new person is not exactly a coffee person. She also looks as if she is there under duress, not because she wants to serve coffee. A smile and a little welcoming vibe would help. And also, if your coffee goes wrong, which can happen to anybody, maybe make a decent new one.

My go-to coffee shop in brighton if I’m passing by. Sadly I can’t give 5 stars as the level of customer service does vary according to the staff that are on duty. I went in on a Sunday recently and neither of the 2 people working there acknowledged me as I waited at the counter to be served. I don’t mind waiting if they’re busy but a simple smile and a ‘hello, I’ll be with you shortly’ would have really helped. The guy even clocked me coming in and the girl was stood right in front of me but both chose to blank me. In the end I walked out as I felt it would take too long to get a coffee and I was annoyed at being ignored!

I had a black coffee here and it was bad for 2.50. Really acidic with no flavour. The coffee wasn't good. There is no other way to describe it. I am entitled to give an honest opinion, which am doing. I will omit the point about the coffee machines as it was just especulation. Not all negative reviews are done with bad intent just expressing surprise as I wasn't expecting the bad coffee I got.

A good example of what's great about living in Brighton. When you're just passing through and that feeling gives way to a sense of arrival. A little off the beaten track but definitely worth the effort.

Brilliant bike-friendly coffee on the London-Brighton cycle route. Great coffee and cakes, friendly and helpful staff. Ideally situated next to the best fish and chips in Brighton.
