I had ice cream and it was really nice, my partner had a milkshake and it looked really good too. Would reccommend

Ordered a milkshake. Got a glass of milk lined with choc syrup. Don’t let them shake your ice cream.

Great icecream at a reasonable price right on the beach front. Perfect after spending a few hours on the beach. Would recommend.

Stopped here on a walk along the front at Brighton and had fish and chips. Everything was freshly cooked. Great batter on the cod that was nice and moist. Good thick cut chips, which were very tasty. Good service, totally recommend.

My friend and I had the best ice cream here, I understand why they have awards. My Blackcurrant clotted cream was divine and my friend had the Honeycomb, we are visiting again very soon to mama fish next door for fish n chips as it looked delicious with proper beer batter, can't wait! Service all with a beautiful smile too.

We went to Brighton seafront today me & my son, we went to mama brums & had X 2 banana 🍌 milkshakes, have u ever had something u never want to end.

Had a lovely day in Brighton today made even better by Mama Brums cafe. We had the best ever cheesy chips at the start of our walk and delicious ice creams all round on the way back, but it was the excellent charm and service from the owners that really made it stand out for us. Cannot recommend enough - definitely the place to choose out of all the options along the front.

We ordered fish and chips for everyone and it was the best we've had for ages. Fresh, white cod and crispy batter with crispy chips. Lovely staff even helped my youngest grandchild sit down. To top it off there was the creamy ice cream for afters. The coconut I had was dreamy. It's constantly busy but you see why. A real gem.

I haven’t been to Brighton for a few years. It’s changed quite a lot. We were on the hunt for a decent ice cream. My wife is from the states and so far, hasn’t had much luck finding a good ice cream. We walked for about an hour, avoiding the Mr Whippy sugar rushes until we found Mama Brums. She boasted to have real ice cream which was organic. So many flavours to chose from. Let me tell you, it was delicious . Mama Brum and her daughter were so pleasant and friendly. Very clean place and they have a fish n chip shop next door. The ice cream came from marshfield farm. I am sure we had this before at the Tower of London but obviously they charged a lot more than mama brum. I would highly recommend a visit here. Nice setting, location (right near the 360 tower), but most of all it’s worth a visit to get one of mama brums smiles

Friend and I stopped here and enjoyed a mango and a coconut ice cream, both were delicious and very reasonably priced. I believe we met the mama herself and she was very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Have now worked my way through all the wonderful ice cream flavours. All are wonderful, but i love the birthday cake ice cream. Great staff.

Lots of choice, great location, lovely service... not much more to say, great little stop off on a hot day

Had wonderful toasties here today, sitting in the sunshine. I am a wheelchair user and was made very welcome. Another wheelchair user sat at the next table and chairs were moved to accommodate. There were a constant stream of people buying ice cream who seemed to know the owner - repeat business is always a good sign at an eating place.

Still raving over the fish and chips we had here after the Brighton 10k yesterday! Piping hot, the freshest, chunkiest fish in the best batter I’ve ever tasted and the chips were fantastic - an unexpected lovely touch was the wedge of lemon and home made tartare sauce they were served with. We will definitely be back - thank you

Don’t miss this hidden gem, new to Brighton seafront! All seven of our group had fantastic fish and chips (battered cod, scampi, etc.) and everyone said it was the best they could remember having! The fish was high quality and the chips were gorgeous - lovely and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! We also loved the fact that the utensils were made of wood, and the food was presented in cardboard trays with paper. Not a bit of plastic to be seen!

Easily the best fish and chips I’ve had in ages. Fabulous light beer batter, tasty fish and perfect chips with a wedge of lemon and home made tartar sauce! Brilliant! Then follow with amazing choice of ice creams. All right by the beach. Perfect.

Nice family run fish restaurant and ice cream bar. Great location superb view of the sea front with plenty of seats to relax after your meal. Lovely fish and scampi also chips tasted so nice with the beer batter. Very welcoming staff well worth a visit

Stopped there this morning for ice cream after wandering around town, and o my gosh so glad we did. The ice cream was fantastic , some of the best l have had. Cannot recommend it highly enough s must visit location for the view and the ice cream

Amazing fish and chips and the homemade tarter sauce is fantastic. Really friendly and welcoming, lovely owner! HIGHLY recommend - great price and brilliant size portions. Managed to also have an ice cream which was also awesome! Definitely going back!

Mama Brum is on the seafront walkway and provice amazing ice-cream, it has now aquired the chip shop next door and has started doing Mama Brum Fish n chips which are the best price and quality in the city, recently she gave 150 fish suppers away to the homeless people living on the streets of Brighton

Along the beach promenade this little gem appeared. My 4 year old said the ice cream was "THE best". The cafe had a good selection of organic real dairy ice cream. Coffee was good as well and served by smiling and very friendly staff. A few tables, so one can choose to eat there or bring with you. We all were very happy before walking further on along the beach promenade.

Absolutely the best Ice cream in Brighton, the softies are lovely and the Caribbean coconut is really special. However it’s so nice to see a friendly happy people who enjoy serving you and genuinely care if you have a good time.

The best rum and raisin ice cream I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot! My girlfriend had mango and honeycomb and said it was amazing too! Super good ice cream!👍🏻

Have visited Mama Brum’s a few times now as they definitely have the best ice creams In Brighton. When we last visited last Saturday on what was an extremely windy day I had to go and have one of their ice creams as they are delicious and I tell everyone to got there. They have a choice of cones (the nice waffle cones) and my favourite is the one with hundreds and thousands round the top and with the honeycomb ice cream, always a shame when it’s gone!! The staff are excellent and reading all the other reviews on our next visit to Brighton will definitely try the food, if it’s as good as the ice cream it will be amazing. Definitely the best place to visit for the best ice cream.

Ice cream to die for. Great service and wonderful selection. Organic milk is used and have a reasonable price with multiple options (cones, pots you name it!).

Stopped by for a cuppa in the heat recently, and ended up with ice cream and toasted buns and butter tooAbsolutely delicious, and great to know that the nearby restoration works have not deterred Mama from soldiering on !Worth seeking out if strolling along the Brighton seafront

Amazing ice cream, so many flavours too choose from. I went for the honeycomb, salted caramel and fudge with a waffle cone and OMG . Lovely ran family business, we were served by the owners Mum and her son was helping too, very friendly and she suggested some flavours as me and my friend were so indecisive. Glad we went there as the ice cream was delish! We will be back to try the waffles and crepes. Also a great location with seating and shade!

Stopped at Mama Brum's Cafe for an ice cream today and what an ice cream it was. I had the choco chip (which was full of what it says, chocolate chips) with the best tasting banana I've ever had. When on Brighton seafront, this is the only place you should be heading, if you fancy great flavoured ice cream with the friendliest service. 10/10 I'll be back

I had the raspberry pavlova, ginger and coconut flavours in a waffle cone, and my husband had the raspberry pavlova, cookies and cream and supreme strawberry flavours. Simply the most delicious ice-cream with a huge range of flavours 😍 Fab family run business too!!

What a lovely little place this is on Brighton seafront ,,,,They sell "marshfield " ice-cream, which is my absolute fav ...My hubby had a very tasty panini which I thoroughly enjoyed also ...The lady who I believe to be the owner is so very friendly & welcoming ....I always pop by here now when we come down at weekends

During a day trip to Brighton we visited Mama Brum's cafe for a quick bite. The staff are very friendly, the food is delicious and I'd highly recommend a visit.

As a local, I've had my fair share of ice creams around the city, but this place by far provides the best of the best. It's great seeing a thriving, bustling, independent, family-run business doing so well in a city which is becoming increasingly dominated by big business. This is simply down to the quality of the food. You must get an ice cream here. It's first class, the scoops are big and the location is perfect. I'll certainly be going back. Callum T

Was riding along Brighton beach last weekend to find this absolute hidden gem.Was welcomed by friendly staff, We had Ice cream all round and was pleasantly surprised. They also accommodated for my daughter who is Lactose intolerant a full range of sorbets and assured me by giving is the full ingredient lists for everything she had! Could not recommend this place anymore a must visit if on the seafront.Many thanks and see you again soon- Leroy

if your taking a walk along brighton seafront and fancy an ice cream, I strongly recommend stopping here as the flavours sold are luxurious (I’m sure even if you don’t fancy an ice cream once you see the flavours you won’t be able to help yourself!) not to get started on the heavenly honeycomb flavour! Had to pick a nearby location on the beach only so the walk back for another ice cream wasn’t too far! Super friendly staff and amazing food too! You’d be crazy to stop anywhere else..❤️

The Blackcurrent in Clotted cream with caramel fudge in clotted cream and the Choc mint with salted caramel was just amazing!! The owner was so lovely!

Absolutely love this place. An amazing choice of flavours, Marshfield Farm ice cream is the cream of the crop! I would highly recommend the clotted cream and blackcurrant flavour in a waffle cone - superb. To top it all off the staff incredibly friendly and the young man behind the counter is rather easy on the eye...

Lovely spot on a hot day to get a milkshake. You can chose from a great selection of ice cream flavours, I chose lemon & the milkshake was fab, the attention to detail, the warm welcome & friendly service will definitely have me go back. The selection of home made cakes looked great too.

We found this place walking along the beach one sunny day and felt right at home. The kids were welcomed and enjoyed choosing from a large selection of ice creams,whilst we had a much needed ice cold drinks. Great place to recharge your batteries and have a natter. I highly recommend Mama Brums and will be back soon.

Hidden gem. The staff at Mama Brums cafe went far beyond what we could have asked of them. Between the the friendly staff, divine food and ice cream , it was exceptional. We indulged in burgers and hot dogs, followed by some quality desserts. Personally I enjoyed a generous portion of the salted caramel ice cream while my other half had a cookies and cream milkshake. The milkshakes were made with the very same ice cream served at the front and the taste reflected it. All of this still came to what can only be described as a fair price. Service with a smile and even had a nice little chat with the woman serving. Will be coming back.

I visited Mama Brum's last week with friends and was so impressed. I don't remember the last time I had such a delicious burger. It was all freshly cooked to order, thick and succulent with salad and sauces if you choose. I then had one of their very popular ice creams, chosen from an array of flavours .. again delicious and highly recommended. If you are in Brighton and feel ready for a bite to eat do go down to the arches and treat yourself to a little while at Mama Brum's.

Huge choice of ice cream with various cones and large portions. All organic....amazing! All food organic too....burgers only 5% fat and so so tasty. Can't wait to go back. Staff really friendly and helpful. A must visit....especially if you want good value and quality.

Being local, you tend to have tried and trusted places that you stick with. However we fancied a change and spotted Mama Brum's. Popped in for coffee and ice cream and we're glad we did. People expect good coffe these days and the cappuccino was great and served by friendly staff. Loads of ice cream flavours too which are organic from Cornwall but settled on the Salted Caramel. Lovely!We'll be back.

Best milkshake in Brighton. Was an old fashioned milkshake from real ice cream, delicious. Great service, friendly, fast, and clean. Lovely place to sit and watch the sea and the people go by.

We enjoyed a lovely walk along Brighton sea front today and despite all the cafes, pubs and ice dream parlours , mamabrum stood out with the bright tables and attractive layout. The very welcoming lady who runs it is from Birmingham and we felt as though we were with an old friend, she is so nice and we will def go back and will tell our friends.
