Quality little store amazing coffee top quality produce and the owner is a true gent 👌

We have lived this place for years. Even after we moved away we still go back once a week to pick up our pre-ordered bread from Real Patisserie and often have coffee and/or quiche. Ben is frequently busy but always has a time for a friendly hello.

Just stopped off here on the rare opportunity of a lunch break. They make (in my opinion) the best Chicken Club sandwich that I've had locally. Plus they stock a variety of great produce, including the amazing garlic mayo from the Isle of Wight Garlic farm. Will definitely try and stop here again!

Lovely little shop. Sandwich was lovely using great high quality produce. So much more to offer than sandwiches as well. Well worth a visit if you are a foodie.

Beautiful little deli. Sandwich was delicious, best I’ve had in a long time! Coffee also very nice, strong and obviously good beans! Highly recommend to stop by on the way in or out of town. Service was also great 👌

Can't believe I haven't given this lovely little spot a review yet. Possibly because I don't want it to get too busy! It's terrific. Loads of really good food and tempting produce, proper coffee and free, excellent, friendly service too. Was nothing less than a blessing in lockdown and back to being just a lovely spot for a well earned coffee after dropping off the kids or a very tasty toasted sandwich for lunch, also Scotch eggs and cakes. Yum.

Oh my god. I am blown away and awe struck by the sandwich I ate here twice last month. By far best I’ve ever eaten, even the ones made myself, and I make pretty darn extravagant and lavish ones. I can’t recommend the Casper sandwich enough. And this wonderful cafe in general. I’m very impressed by it. You get more than your money’s worth here, and I’m in all honesty a Scrooge, so trust me on that. The bread (I tried white); amazing Ingredients, especially the pesto; outstanding. By heavens the best pesto I could’ve ever even dreamed of. The portions of ingredients; miles beyond perfect. The sandwich: much bigger than I expected, which I couldn’t be more pleased about. I’m blown away. The service; lovely, efficient and professional. I highly recommend. (Dietary side note/disclaimer: the Casper sandwich is not vegan nor vegetarian. Contains roasted chicken, mozzarella, avocado, sun dried tomatoes, and pesto.)

A proper cafe serving locals and anyone one else clever enough to know about it. Great coffee and food and always a welcome hello from Ben the owner. They also have a mini grocery - selections of RP bread and anything else you might need

It was my favourite place when I lived in the area. Coffee and food was excellent as was the service. Ben the owner is a really nice fella, chatty and kind. I miss this place and Brighton so much. Hopefully we'll meet again one day. All the best mate!

Come here at least once a month and can honestly say everything is delicious. The brownies are melt in your mouth squares of heaven and the sandwich are just as good!

Lovely local deli/cafe/shop. Ben stocks high quality foods and makes a good coffee too. During the lockdown he kept all us locals stocked up on essentials and ordered fresh bread for us.

I absolutely love this deli/cafe. I agree with all the reviews. Friendly kind relaxed excellent quality food ...plus a wide variety. Just asked for a delivery. Going to have for my lunch..jersey royal pots drenched in South down butter with their wonderful ham and toms. Simple food but such good quality local produce. Going to call them again and double the order!!! Can't wait to scrape my first new pots this year and make a wish.

Lovely sandwiches and coffee. A little small to eat in but I’m so pleased to have a great place in the westdene area for brunch/lunch. Very middle class and overpriced but hey ho, it’s Brighton after all.

A lovely little cafe, very friendly. Caters for vegans and also gluten free. They have an amazing selection of health food products, like a mini health food shop. Fresh bread is delivered there every day from real patisserie, which can be purchased. Delicious homemade cakes, pastries and quiche s. Great place for light lunches, nice small menu with freshly made sandwiches, toasties and a range of salads and more. My favourite is there coffee as they give you a choice of vegan milk. Soya, oatly and I'm sure there was another one. Children are very welcome. They have a seating area outside. Parking is free. Highly recommended this place

I visit here a couple of times a week on the school run. The sandwiches and coffee are superb and the owner is super friendly. If the sun is out then you can sit outside which is a bonus. A very cool, laid back local cafe 🙏

Lovely shop in the heart of westdene, frequented by many. Seats outside and a nice selection of food, including freshly baked breads. Coffee is amazing here too.

I've been a traveling floor layer for about 17 years I've always eaten out and about..... This was today the best sandwich I've ever had.

Organic food sold here, small and compact, friendly helpful and accommodating staff, also tea, coffee and sandwiches and snacks sold too

This is my local Coffee shop and we are lucky to have it, Great coffee and food and friendly staff.

I visit but had to wait 5 mins for the owner to finish his conversation. I left without ordering. Would of been nice to review this place properly but can only go from this experience.

Great Coffee and lovely little cafe with rustic/vintage tone. Ben is lovely and has a nice range of cakes and local produce, veg and cheese etc.

Went in for a sandwich, The guy serving me and making my sandwich, well, ive never seen someone take that much time, love and attention to a tuna sandwich. Glad he did though because it was a bloody good sandwich. Nice store, good music playing. Recommend!

5 Stars! This is an excellent place tucked away just off the London road on the way in and out of Brighton. Great for Coffee and Sandwiches! Highly recommended.
