Cibo Brighton in Brighton and Hove

Gran sensación al restaurante y el personal era amable y encantador con los clientes. Visité antes de ver un espectáculo en el Brighton Centre y la comida salió rápido y caliente. Tuve bruschetta y fuera de Italia, fue lo mejor que he tenido. Fresco, sabroso y muy bien cocinado. Seguido de esto con pollo Al Fungi y esto también fue excepcional. Mi pareja tenía gnocchi y eso también fue perfecto. Volvería a visitar la próxima vez que visitemos Brighton.

La primera vez que cené aquí y me impresionó mucho. La comida tenía tanto sabor, la mejor bruschetta y arrabiata que he comido! Gran ambiente y personal muy amable. Muy buena relación calidad-precio.

Mientras planeaba un fin de semana en Brighton, investigué un poco sobre Tripadvisor y preparé una lista de cinco restaurantes italianos sobresalientes. Algunos de ellos ofrecían cocina italiana de alta gama que está bien, pero siempre hay ciertos platos que busco cuando considero un restaurante italiano y no los ofrecían como opciones de menú. Teniendo en cuenta estos criterios, me decidí por Cibo y no me decepcionó en lo más mínimo. Decidí reservar una mesa con mucha antelación y es igual de bien que lo hice como era muy Ocupado a su llegada. El saludo fue amable; el servicio atento y nos mostraron a una mesa cerca de la cocina. Ambos elegimos comenzar con el tricolor que era exactamente como debería ser: cada ingrediente constituyente es excelente. Mi esposa entonces fue por el pollo al funghi que ella absolutamente devoró: si hubiera tenido el descaro, es posible que hubiera lamido el plato! Elegí los canelones que estaban al punto: no demasiado tomate, muy sabrosos y condimentados a la perfección. Redondeamos nuestras comidas con tiramisú y bannofee italianos eternos: ambos fueron grandes ejemplos. Incluso el limoncello frío a la perfección tenía razón. Llena de un buen grigio vegano de pinot Ombrellino, Cibo jugó su golpe de gracia y nos fuimos bien satisfechos, incluso contentos de que el alto nivel de comida, bebida y servicio había llegado a poco más de £ 100. Eso puede sonar caro, pero resultó ser un excelente valor para nuestras comidas y la experiencia en general.

Gran comida tradicional italiana a un precio justo. Con tantos restaurantes locales que ofrecen comida de prácticamente todos los rincones del mundo casi pasamos CiBo... realmente contentos de no haberlo hecho. No tenía una reserva, pero nos dieron una cálida bienvenida y el servicio y la comida era genial

Visitamos este restaurante durante el fin de semana festivo del Banco. Los restaurantes de la ciudad estaban muy ocupados y no habíamos reservado con antelación, así que estábamos muy contentos de encontrar esta joya escondida a poca distancia del paseo marítimo. El restaurante no decepcionó. El interior es moderno, bien decorado y era muy relajante para estar en. El personal era acogedor y el servicio era eficiente. El menú era emocionante y tenía mucho para elegir. Comí una ensalada Caesar de pollo y estaba realmente delicioso - muy sabroso y justo lo que esperaba. Creo que el restaurante sería genial para grupos grandes, ya que era espacioso y muy accesible, lo que como usuario de silla de ruedas se agradece mucho. (No estoy seguro de que un inodoro accesible estuviera disponible) Sin duda volveríamos si estuviéramos en Brighton de nuevo. ¡Gracias por una encantadora cena!

Cibo is one of our favourite "local" Italian restaurants in Brighton, we have visited multiple times and the food has always been spot on. The restaurant has recently had a refurbishment and the atmosphere is clean, bright and very relaxing. Every dish is authentic and full of flavour, highly recommend adding the burrata :) the Melanzane Parmigiana is the best I have ever tasted in the UK! Overall, highly recommended!!

Been here 3 times and would give the food five stars but the whole experience has been marred on each occasion by the front of house manageress who Is simply awful - really rude and unprofessional. Sorry but I won’t be returning again to be abused by her..

The service was excellent and the food was incredible. My partner is celiac and they made special dietary requirements just for him. First restaurant we have found that actually are gluten free! The gluten free garlic bread was delicious and better than the normal one! Although I suffer from severe anxiety I felt very welcomed from the very start. Highly recommend if you’re looking for how the real Italians make their dishes!!

Really disappointed- birthday meal - booked for 5 pm and chef couldnt be bothered to turn up until 5.30 pm - food really delayed - weren’t apologetic and obviously didn’t care - shame as when chef is there food is good but couldn’t even offer us a drink to compensate for the wait for our food and no apology- wont be back! Your loss!

Are here before a gig on a Friday night. Loved it as soon as we walked in receiving a very warm welcome. Excellent service through, delicious freshly prepared food and good wine. Our new favourite Italian in Brighton… we will return.

Found this place through Trip Advisor! Went there for lunch 26/10/2023. The owner/waitress was very attentive and engaging and when we said we had a theatre booking to make, ensured that the service was paced but not rushed. We had melazane parmigiana (this was the best one I have EVER had and I have had a few!) and calamari to start followed by 2 different pizzas. The pizzas were perfect, crispy with no soggy bottom(!), not overly doughy and not too thick and toppings were generous. All washed down with a delicious and reasonably priced Malbec. We live 45 mins away but next time we are in Brighton we will definitely be back and have recommended it to our local friends who are yet to discover this great place

Lovely staff and amazing Italian food! I’ve been visiting Cibo for the past few years and it’s always my number 1 for celebrations and I’ve had my graduation meal and birthday meal here. Both the Veggie and Vegan options are great & the food never disappoints. My favourite is the starters are the Dough Bites with jalapeños and Mozzarella in carrozza, I order them both every time. Book a table you won’t ever regret it
