This lovely authentic Italian restaurant is located in Portslade, and i have to say it's amazing. As soon as you walk through the door, you are always welcomed by the staff . The food is good, old, honest Italian food which is cooked with love and care. The only downside to the restaurant is the size of the dining room. It's a little small, so i guest booking to avoid disappointment !

This is truly an authentic italian cusine, amazing service, delicious food, very clean and authentic dishes. I tried seafood pasta and Calamari and i was very impressed, see you soon!

Popped in yesterday with a friend on a chance. So happy when they managed to squeeze us in. Although they was having a busy Friday night. Service was very attentive and the food was served in good time . We both had the Pollo Milanese, I had the last piece of Banoffee Pie and my friend had Tiramisu. My partner and I went here for a quick lunch, and I can honestly say it was the best Italian food I have ever had! The service was incredible and everyone was so lovely, very affordable, and an all around wonderful experience. Coming back again as soon as possible!

Second lunch here. Lovely restaurant. Nice and small. Owner is super friendly and welcoming. Both times I've had the chicken caesar salad (see photo for beautiful presentation) as it's delicious. This time I had the burrata to start, first time the salmon and prawn cocktail. Both were fresh and light and tasted great. The Pinot Grigio Blush was served cold and really complimented the food. No room for dessert so I can't comment on them. This is somewhere I will definitely not hesitate to visit again (& again!) The only reason I've given 4 stars for the atmosphere is because they were quiet lunchtimes. I'm sure if it's busy it would be buzzing.

I took my partner here for her birthday, it was a Wednesday lunchtime. It had just opened and we were one of the first in. We was greeted by a lovely gentleman and taken to our table, it soon got busy but that didn’t stop the waiter (who I believe to be the owner) remembering who was in order. The food came out in great time, the service came with a smile and good conversation. Everything we needed was catered for. The food was delicious and we enjoyed every moment. I would definitely recommend this place looking for authentic Italian at a great price. Thank you Billy!

Amazing food and reasonable prices! Really friendly staff! Been to countless restaurants in Brighton however this one tops the cake. A tiny gem hidden a few miles from Brighton town center but definitely worth the trip if you’re looking for good food and little bit of a laugh.

The food here is absolutely delicious, homemade, authentic and beautifully presented. My Dad and I have been here twice now, the front of house man who we presume the owner, is very welcoming and great service. I'd definitely go back and try some other dishes!

A really lovely restaurant. First visit this evening and it felt like a really old school, traditional vibe in the best way. Waiter always topping up water, lots of regulars obviously coming in. I've eaten at colosseo countless time, but always failed to leave a review but time is time! The fresh Seafod direct from ship is always delicious, perfectly handled and beautifully cooked. The specials always worth a check, and the fillet steak tender enough that the weight of the knife alone will cut through it like butter. My one, and only, issue is that the food tends yo be under seasoned to my preference. However, I suspect this is likely to be a result of pallette dead patrons who complained at any flavour. Eitherway, colosseo keep doing what you do best, and put another vino in the fridge for me. Mark.

The atmosphere there is also great, it really is an authentic Italian restaurant. Finally, the food is outstanding, I ordered a seafood risotto and it was cooked to perfection, the seafood tasted fresh and flavourful. Ideal for authentic Italian food more than just pizza and meatballs, the manager and staff give a great relaxed but formal atmosphere. The mussels and pasta had a rich sauce, and a depth to the flavour… if only i took the time to savour it ;) Will be visiting again. This place would be ideal for a business meal, a romantic dinner, or a quiet evening by yourself.
