We had a wonderful meal here from Nick who runs Kab, a Thai supper club inspired by Northern Thai cuisine and his experiences in the area.
As someone who has grown up in Southeast Asia the flavours on show I feel were highly authentic, punchy and most importantly, absolutely delicious. The wines and drinks available were ample and paired well.
Another highlight was eating at the communal dining table and ultimately making friends with everyone over delicious food and drink.
Overall a very fairly priced, authentic, unique and delicious dining experience. Definitely a hidden gem in the Brighton and Hove dining scene and well worth a detour!
Bought a cake for work colleagues, we could not believe how light and amazing it tasted. It was not sickly sweet, just a lovely taste and texture with fresh cream. We all agreed that we could not remember tasting a better cake.
Will definitely in future get birthday and special occasion cakes here rather than supermarkets.
The food was excellent. I had baba ganoush and hummus both with fresh bread and it was so good I kept thinking about it afterwards. After that we had a main of diced lamb and rice that was also very good. For two people this came to about 38 quid. This is a BYO so you can bring your own bottle of wine which works out very well. There is a seating area in the front and a sisha lounge out the back. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place
Amazing view of the surrounding area, directly connected to a public footpath that takes you straight to the South Downs.
Great for a warm coffee or a cool drink or ice cream, perfect for dog walks, hikes, or simply relaxing in the sun in a peaceful area by a vintage barn.
A nice vegan spot with friendly people working there.
We especially enjoyed the carrot "salmon" bagel and the pain au chocolat, but we liked everything we tried. I appreciated that they made a child-sized portion of their vegan breakfast for my child.
We stopped in here on our way home from dinner. At first we thought it was a regular bakery, if you’ve ever been to Brighton you know there are many, however we were very wrong. We both had the Oreo cake and it was DELICIOUS. A really tasty cake that wasn’t too sweet and was the perfect after dinner dessert. The only down side is that there isn’t a Dolce Vita in my home town haha!
Wow what a find!
My partner and I were hungry and had not had much luck with finding somewhere to eat then saw a sign about this place so walked up to find it
Were looking at the menu on window when a man came and spoke to us telling us what was on offer and we thought stuff it we'll give it a go
We really enjoyed all the food we had and my partner even said when we visit Brighton again we have to come back here
Lovely food and very friendly staff
Thanks 😊
Amazing food, good quantity and incredible quality, very friendly staff and outstanding service! Starters had a large portion of bread, had the Bife de Chorizo, tender and soft, melts in your mouth, and the dessert was full of flavour, had the best argentinean beer there as well.
We visited the restaurant with our family and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. They even gave us complimentary bread, which was soft and tasty. We'll definitely be coming back 😁
