Este lugar debería tener 5 estrellas. Es una gran panadería y lo que comimos fue genial. Pero lo sorprendente de este lugar es que a pesar de ser una gran panadería todos los sándwiches están hechos de pan blanco y para Brighton ofrece una selección realmente pequeña de sándwiches no cárnicos.

Used to be out go to. However it was dirty and unloved. I found a long hair on the table. The cushions were filthy. The toilets had no soap.

Awful place. Waited ages for two cappuccinos when they arrived they were cold. My grandson ordered a tea . Hot milk with tea ? And no white sugar only brown. Never again. Very poor service and overpriced.

Nice pastrami sandwich and triple chocolate cookie. My friend got a Caprese sandwich and said they’d also rate it as a 4. Quick service and cute decor

We stopped in here for coffee and cake. I had the maple and pecan tart, and it was utterly delicious. Excellent coffee too and a nice atmosphere. Perfect stop for a break from shopping in The Lanes.

We came as part of my one day birthday trip to Brighton. We had walked on the sea front,had luch and walked around the lanes so needed some refreshment! I had a cool chai latte,very nice.

Delicious toasties and more competitive price than neighbouring Gail’s. Friendly service. Chicken and chorizo toastie was the best.

I am new to the neighbourhood and always wanted to come for a coffee and to do some work from there. I walked in and asked for some breakfast and coffee. They asked me where I was gonna sit, I pointed for a table close to the window and they said it was reserved. I asked which place is good as it was my first time there, and if upstairs was nice. They said that they had a table right there, in front of the bar. It was in the corner and a bit dark but it was alright. The food was good and I was trying to do some work. However, as the table was close to the bar people kept standing around waiting for coffees, coming in and out do the toilet as that was the corner where the toilet was, or bumping on me. On top of that, I saw some people walking in and asking for the table that I asked for, and the lady said yes go for it. i am extremely disappointed, i felt like they just wanted to dumb me on that corner as it’s a place where no one would want to sit. I left a bit after that - I messaged one of my best friends to tell her about it and she said “Yh, they were dicks to me too… and my dad on a separate occasion. Like they are pricks regularly”. Apologies about the language but I just think the costumer service is quite bad and unconsidered. I definitely won’t go back.

The Coffee is amazing , the food is really nice & the ALL the staff are awesome & very friendly . Don’t look any further than this amazing little gem

I have been the biggest fan of the Flour pot coffeeshops for years! We were there when there was only one shop in the Brighton area. I am afraid, the quality of the service is declining. The staff is not so keen and kind anymire, the takeaway cup is getting smaller and smaller while the prices are rocketing. Still good coffee and great atmosphere but I personally think, the importance of money making became the most important factor. Shame. Also, they are not replying to comments, complaints anymore, again, shame.

Stopped for a breakfast. We ordered their regular latte and a biscoff (or was it speculoos) latte which was delicious! Also tried their oatmeal raisin cookie and a sausage roll. The cookie was outstanding while the roll was alright. It's a cute cafe with good coffee and cookies, will return!

Husband and l visited as part of a 'Brighton coffee crawl'. I ordered two drinks and sat down. About 12 minutes later one of the staff sussed we weren't part of the takeaway crowd she had served earlier. I think they need a better system in there for sorting their eating in customers from the takeaway ones. That issue aside, the coffee wasn't bad, but it was nothing special either. Less milk and more coffee needed, perhaps.

Bitchy staff , gobsmacked that a customer pointed out that there were 4 staff behind the counter and all they have to do is make a coffee. WTF!

If you want a nice toastie here’s the place it was busy so always a good sign good bread and good filling we had to take half ours away because we couldent finish it.

My go to coffee place when I'm in Brighton! It's very cosy, the coffee is top notch and the pastries are delicious. I brought a loaf of freshly baked sourdough with me back to London last time I visited them - it was sooo good!

We look delivery of a very delicious afternoon cream tea from the Flour Pot today. Delivery driver texted me to say our order was on its way which was great. So delighted with the boxed presentation. I heated up the sausage rolls in the oven and they were so tasty. The sandwiches were plentiful with delicious fillings. The scones cream and jam were wonderful and so fresh. The lemon tart was perfect and the blackout raspberry mini cake an absolute delight. I wouldn’t change anything. Thank you Flour Pot team we had a scrumptious treat.

One of the best coffee and cake in Brighton. The location is excellent. It is right by the sea and whether you want to sit inside the cost cafe or outside by the beach..you can choose. They do a variety of sandwiches and great options for vegetarians as we.

Not many people waiting. But takes an age to get a take-away coffee here. Waited so long I "accidentally" bought some of their own-brand chilli jam to break the fifteen minutes of boredom. Don't let them cunningly trick you into buying this stuff by making it look all artisan and pretty in its minimalist jar. It's absolutely rank! Bummer.

Once down from the BAi360, popped into the Flour Pot nearby for some breakfast - and had the best Toasted Sandwich I've ever had. Nice people, great food (amazing bread - and bought a loaf!).

Popped in for an afternoon snack, had a toastie, banana cake and a coffee. They were all lovely in particular the toastie. There is seating inside and out with a lovely view of Brighton beach. Will definitely be coming back here again

Have no idea which branch this package was made at but, quite frankly, for the £37.50 charged (includes £2.50 delivery) this was grossly overpriced and of very low quality compared to other teas we have had. Sandwiches all made of peculiarly coloured and tasting spelt...

Went there last Sunday whilst visiting my son who uses it a lot. Very busy and the indoor seating is limited the coffee was ok the flat white was as we ordered flat white

First visit after reading reviews and wanting to try an independent.Good, friendly service with a smile.The best coffee in Brighton after 7 years with nice comfy little tables.Lovely choice of breads and a few other treats. We opted for warmed croissants served with butter and the most wonderful seedless raspberry jam. I did ask! No idea what brand it was but so full of flavour.Great little find

I was staying at an Airbnb and I noticed this cafe on the corner. I had a small pastry and coffee and was shocked at how much more expensive it was than other cafes in Brighton. Service was speedy but the pastry and coffee were just mediocre.

On arrival at Brighton I googled bakers, this popped up. I watched the video of the ethics of the company and wanted to try there pastry goods.

My friend and I popped in here for a cup of tea and a cake late on a Saturday afternoon. Even though there wasn't much selection available due to the lateness the lemon drizzle cake was very tasty and tangy, and the staff were very friendly and kind. I can't wait to pop by again.

Went to the Flour Pot for the first time ever today and was mightily impressed. Their coffee and the food I had was amazing, so tasty, really impressive and staff were lovely. I even learnt that there is such a thing as a Cruffin! Who knew ☺️

My 14 year old daughter wanted to visit here for lunch because one of her favourite YouTube celebrities also does and recommends it. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff were very friendly and it didn't break the bank either.

Lovely place, go all the way to the back for their private garden. We had cake, sandwiches and coffee and it set us up brilliantly. Everything seemed fresh and once it was gone it was gone. Highly recommended.

Lots to like here but sadly disappointing on food side. Coffee is good (abit slow at busy times) but cheese roll was below par The presentation and taste was good but substance very low The cheese inside the roll was really tiny Very mean indeed Bread was good but really as a lunch break you won't get much nutrition from it Tiny amount of protein For the price paid it is best described as pitiful A shame because we like the atmosphere and for them to skimp on basic ingredients is not good Its a popular place so possible they don't care too much but hope they read their reviews and reflect Here is hoping

The thing I like about Brighton is the average coffee is much better than London. The Flour Pot did not disappoint. Well made, micro bubbles well made and the taste of good coffee on top. Could have warmed the cup first to make it perfect. The hot chocolate was not too bad. Had some food. The chocolate slice was not too over powering and not too rich, a nice mixture.

Having visited both cafes in Brighton, each we enjoyed excellent food and engaging staff. The savoury and sweet menu were of equally high standards - the quality and tastes on the various visits we made were amazing! Brilliant!

We wanted to try this cafe as we had heard the cakes were to die for. In the event, there was very little choice. What we had was good though, and the service great. We found a little table in the back and had a nice chat over a birthday....had there only been a bit more of a choice of cake!! There was only one piece left of the b est one! May e next time, if there is one.....

I have been buying their bread for nearly a year now and I simply love it. It is way tastier (and healthier) than those from supermarkets.

If you get a chance, try this bakery's donuts. They are without a doubt the best I've ever tried. 4* review as the coffee (flat white) was a bit disappointing. Bakery at its best.

I was meeting an old college friend in Brighton. As we were meeting in the North Laines she suggested The Flour Pot. It was quite busy so we sat outside. There was a reasonable choice left. (it was 1-30). I had a chicken, bacon & cheese sandwich. It was warmed for me. My friend had a veggie sausage roll which looked tasty. We moved inside as there was a cold wind. I was very tempted by the cakes on offer, but declined. It's a great place to have lunch & will go in again.

Stopped here for a quick cup of mint tea and my friend recommended the orange chiffon cake and I am so glad I tried it! It was light, fluffy and a great orange taste. The portion was big enough for two people but I wasn't sharing! The mint tea was refreshing too but I would recommend the Flour Pot for the cake alone!

Visited with family and friends and was surprised by the excellent quality of the bread , the chili and the soup. The service was fast and very courteous and we enjoyed the location by the beach.

Visited the flour pot factory on our trip to Brighton. Well worth the visit as I am a lover of fresh sourdough bread. Very cheap for a quality bread loaf.

I’ve visited both the Hove venue & Brighton venue and love their food! The quality of bread is gorgeous and the loaf lasts. I’ve recently been nipping in on Fridays for their famous ‘donut fridays’ the honeycomb one is probably the best donut I’ve ever eaten!

We visited the location in the North Laine on two occasions during our weekend in Brighton. On the first visit, we shared a warm chicken and chorizo sandwich on freshly baked bread. Another time, we shared chocolate cake and I had a hot chocolate. Everything was delicious! The staff were very friendly and although this location is small, we didn't have issues getting a table.

I like The Flower Pot. The coffee and croissants incarnations. Enough to feel a bit disloyal writing this review. The Sydney Street and First Avenue versions are great. But the full kitchen version on the seafront needs a bit of work. (We did consider the ‘they’re very busy’ excuse but then did a countback on the staff-to-customers ratio and concluded the problem was process or competence).

Can't seem to find the Flour Pot on TripAdvisor for the new Flour Pot on the Brighton Seafront, but just had to write a review as it was a lovely experience. The staff and especially the lady who welcomes people to the restaurant were absolutely lovely, friendly and could not do enough to ensure everyone there was happy and having a good time. I love the fact that you can just have a drink without having to order a huge meal (although - as always when stopping for a drink - we end up ordering a good few nibbles). The small wine selection was very good. Please also continue to serve in proper glasses as this also makes such a difference (both for the drinking and the experience) and is far more sustainable than many of the other seafront bars/restaurants who push out copious amounts of plastic cups per day - have they not been watching blue planet????. So in all I highly recommended - for a nice friendly place to spend some time in. When leaving the same lady made sure to ask if we had had a nice time and made a point to say she hoped to see us again soon. These small things are just that - but so many places could really learn from this - making individuals feel special and valued as customers - especially in Brighton, where there are so many restaurants and so much choice, there needs to be something on offer to make a place stand out, especially for the locals :)

The breakfast sandwiches are very unique and unlike I had had before! Very enjoyable and I had a great mocha! The staff were very patient and kind, and the environment was very relaxing.

Generally a good experience. Food was tasty, lots of vegan options, service was youthful and friendly, prices average. Bit cramped in the sydney street branch but you could see that as atmospheric and continental. You can hang out for ages and no eyebrows are raised. It's a small chain now but still feels like an independent.

We walked past and saw amazing sausage rolls which we bought for takeout. These were amazing so when, the next day, we wanted lunch and is was the obvious choice. Our children had pizza, which they very much enjoyed. My husband and I shared a charcuterie board and a salad. Fantastic food and a great location. Looking forward to retu, the next time we come to Brighton.

Awful food at The Flour Pot's new restaurant. I ordered a lamb skillet for £8.50 and the entire dish was the size of my palm, it was almost cold and had clearly just been reheated, not cooked to order. My friend ordered a pizza which also came out luke warm and was extremely over salted.

Just on the seafront in Brighton. Lovely welcome, we just were coming to have a glass of wine but from the friendly staff and the sun came out we decided to have a light tapas lunch. Bean salad and spiced lamb, we did order another dish but it turned out to be a Pizza, which none of us realised but this was deducted from the bill and we choose another dish. The white wine Ciello Bianco was not to everyone's taste, I feel they should offer more wine choice. You were made to feel very welcome from the Manageress to our lovely waitress, I wish I knew her name to give her a mention!

Heel veel keuze. Het zag er allemaal zo goed uit dat ik moeilijk kon kiezen. Ik heb uiteindelijk gekozen voor de carrot cake. Je kan zowel binnen als buiten zitten. Zeker de moeite waard voor een broodje, taartje, kop thee en/of heerlijke koffie!

I’ve been here many times and have always been seriously impressed.

Regular at the other branches of Flour Pot and always found staff v friendly and helpful esp the one in First Av. Really looking forward to this new one on the beach. Been 3 times and won’t go back. First time when it just opened - understanbly system needed running in so even thou our order went missing for 30 min, it’s fine as staff were v helpful and you could see they were trying their best. Second time and then yesterday - same thing - staff spent their time huddling together chatting even thou busy. Ordered coffee and tap water - none cane for over 30 min. staff wandered past including manger so many times but nobody thought it strange nothing on our table. Also even when people were waiting to come in, staff preferred to chat and not showed them menus/table. Most of the time potential customers had to grab the menus themselves. Anyway how could coffee take so long - both times? And staff just didn’t seem interested! Look guys not all of us are visitors. When the weather turns, you’ll have to rely on us locals. And I am not the only one who has found one of the biggest USPS of this chain - friendly and excellent staff missing in this new branch!

We had a wonderful lunch for two sitting on the beach at The Flour Pot's newest venue. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was excellent, particularly the pudding. Highly recommend a visit.

Great charcuterie board with a cider, beer and some deserts. All delicious! Staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Delivery of food was prompt and we thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Been before and loved it. Came for breakfast and asked for bread so I could toast it myself as is usual. Waited ages for bread thinking how long can it take to slice a loaf. When it arrived it had been toasted already and was cremated and was almost cold. Horrible breakfast.

This is a busy little cafe but if you can manage to snack a table outside, it makes for a great afternoon with coffee and a little people watching. The cake was a bit too sweet for my taste but the iced latte was phenomenal.

Stopped for a coffee and some bread. This place really knows their bread. Fantastic assortment of breads on offer. Yes some may say they are expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Enjoyed this place, we sat outside and enjoyed the street commotion on this active street. The coffee was strong and delicious, we also had pastries that were excellent.

Yummy coffee and cakes, and we were able to sit outside on the first warm day of the year. I had a gluten free polenta cake - not cos I don't eat gluten - just because it was flipping delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful and didn't roll their eyes at my fussy requests for half - caffeinated coffee and to check all the cake ingredients for my allergies. It was the best start to my visit to Brighton!

Sometimes finding a good place for breakfast can be tricky! The Flower Pot Bakery in Brighton ticks all the boxes - their 1st class coffee, award winning seeded spelt, toasted and served with strawberry jam certainly hits the spot (a bargain for just over £5!), for something more substantial, they do sausage and/or bacon brioche buns or croque monsieur and much more! They are pretty busy all day which I can understand as the sandwiches are generously filled and the cakes are seriously good!!

High end baked stuff and very good coffee. If the range of breads, sandwiches, savouries and cakes on offer doesn’t tempt you then you’re can’t have a pulse. Pricey but brilliant (good food should be expensive).

Every Friday Flourpot make an assortment of fresh doughnuts and they are definitely worth waiting a week for them, oh my! The service is alright in here and the coffees good but to be honest I just come here for the doughnuts. But remember they're only on a Friday!

The food here is amazing. So good we went twice.

Coffee was barely warm. A weak smile and insipid response from one of the six assistants turned me off from visiting again. Cakes etc on display were uncovered.
