Tuve una gran experiencia, yo y un par de amigos vinimos aquí para las bebidas, ya que era 2 por £ 10 tuvimos los cócteles de fresa y durazno que eran increíbles. El personal era muy amable con un saludo especial a nuestro gran tulipán servidor y su gerente que nos trató con cuidado! Definitivamente volveré por comida, ya que se ve increíble y recomendaría visitar esta joya escondida en el centro de Brighton!

As a native Korean, this restaurant is 100% native korean restaurant better than real korean restaurant in Korea. Especially the kimchi is crazy, it might be directly delivered from Korea. I'm so happy to meet this good restaurant in Brighton. I recommend kimchi ramen I went there believing the reviews from Koreans, but I was surprised at how delicious it was. I was thinking about just having a quick meal in Brighton before moving on to London, but I trusted the reviews and went there, and it was more delicious than I expected. In fact, many Korean restaurants abroad are just imitations and are very expensive, but the prices here are very reasonable compared to London and the kimchi ramen is crazy. It is the highest tier kimchi flavor in Korea. If you are looking for a Korean restaurant in Brighton, just visit here. And if it’s kimchi, I highly recommend it. I ordered chicken wings and kimchi ramen and it came to about 12 pounds.

Straight away this place makes you feel like you've been invited into a Korean Family home for dinner. The gentleman who was running things was so kind & warm, me and my girlfriend were immediately excited to try out some authentic Korean food. The Soju Cocktail was lovely, and the Wings were absolutely amazing on so many levels (and I've tried many), and the ramen was absolutely exceptional both visually and in taste. We will definitely be here almost every time we're in Brighton now. 10/10.

Went here last night. Excellent food, amazing chicken wings. I had a pork and rice dish and that was so tasty. My son had a spicy ramen dish and loved it. Lovely staff too. Will definitely be back!

The food was DIVINE! Our first time in a Korean restaurant and this place has definitely given us the bug for more. Big portions and excellent value for money. Great music and atmosphere and dog friendly inside and outside which was a massive bonus. Service was brilliant and the guy who served us was so friendly, helpful and fun. Honestly cannot fault the place and will definitely be back next time we visit Brighton.

Erm, a bit strange, turned up at midday (1 hour after opening time) and restaurant had chairs up and guy still cleaning. Should’ve taken that as a sign. Ordered ramen, and as others commented, fairly bland soup. Noodles good and toppings tasty. Maybe this place is better when they’re properly open.

It was OK. Not the best korean food. Update : The reason why I gave 3 stars for food because the bulgogi rice is too oily, I have to throw half of them away. Service and atmosphere is 3 stars because the girl who serve us was not really friendly and she doesn't have a good knowledge of the menu. Lastly, the takeaway packaging is not very nice. That's something probably you can improve by using aluminium foil box or thicker box. It's just my opinion. Thank you.

Great quality food, large portions and friendly staff

Today I decided to finally come and try Better Day after many months of just passing by. And I'm glad I did because the food was not only very affordable, but also very tasty! I left the restaurant wondering why I didn't try it before!? 😅 The flavours gave me a very "homely" or "comfort" feeling, and the portions were quite generous! I ordered two of their most popular dishes (the Popcorn Chicken and Kimchi Ramen) and they were really good! Can't wait to come again with friends and try more from their menu!

The food is lovely and tasty but they could probably work on the ambience inside the restaurant. Playing a little bit of music would help. I’ll return for the food!

Terrible experience. Staff member was so useless I started to wonder if she was stoned. Took a good half an hour to take our order - it wasn’t busy. Had to ask multiple times for drinks whilst she just stared at her phone. Chicken was okay but rice was so overcooked that it kind of resembled rice pudding, sludgy and flavourless. The egg was undercooked too instead of the crispy kind of egg you expect over the rice. Not normally one to leave a bad review but in this economy, everyone being so skint - honestly, spend your money elsewhere.

Mediocre ramen with not so fresh ingredients. Kimchi pancake is just ok, not very crunchy - definitely on the chewy, floury side. Service was great though.

Run, don’t walk!! We found @betterdaybrighton tonight purely by chance & we are both overjoyed that we did! ❤️ The food is next-level good & one of the tastiest meals we’ve ever ever had! Fantastic & very knowledgeable server & very reasonably priced. Honestly, this is a must-try for anyone who loves Korean food (well, any Asian food!!). Visited here for the first time the other day and I've been meaning to go for ages. I went with my boyfriend and it was his first time at a Korean restaurant, we had tteokbokki and tofu kimchi ramen, and shared a milkis (student budget lol) The food was perfect, great spice level and cooked wonderfully. The eggs were perfectly gooey. And it came to around £26, not bad at all. And the service was great. We will be coming again!

Went here the other week with my friends as a farewell as I am moving away. We booked seats as this place always seems busy. Got to our table and every 2 minutes were asked to order. Once we had gone through the menu and ordered our first dish came up 40 minutes later, shortly followed by the next and a side. The last meal took a further 40 minutes to get to us. By the time we all had a meal the first 2 obviously would've been cold.we were continuously told that our food was "just coming" throughout the whole almost hour and a half we were waiting for. Our final side arrived and it wasn't the right one! We were offered cocktails on the house. But it wasn't a pleasant experience and won't be returning. Additionally toilets are down a really steep set of stairs and felt eerie and run-down, you had to pass by the kicthen on thw way to the toilet and the kitchen staff whistled at my friend as she passed. Obviously making her uncomfortable. Although our mains were all good and admittedly quite tasty the rest of it just wasn't nice. Kimchi pancake was soggy. And people who arrived after us got the same meal before us. Disappointing.

Better day certainly made my day better. The food was flavourful, tasty and great value for money. I had the beef bulgogi and my partner had the cheese katsu. Both were amazing and the chef sent a small starter on the house while we waited for our main. There was also a promotion on the day we went (Wednesday) 241 on the same meal. The service was impeccable, the waiting staff was polite, friendly, approachable and couldn’t do enough for us. We had a nice chat once our meal was finished and they recommended some places to visit. It really is a shame I don’t live nearby because I’d come back daily. 10/10 would recommend!

Lovely little restaurant! Has become my go to for when I'm not in the mood to cook. As a creature of habit, I have repeatedly ordered the hot cheesy ramen (tofu), tteokbokki, and k-garlic bread; so whilst I can't speak for their entire menu, the dishes I order are absolutely amazing. Great portion sizes, amazing flavour - and the servers are always lovely. Would love to see it become popular, as it's usually rather quiet. My recommendation, go on a Wednesday; 2 for 1 on mains which is extremely worth it. Especially in the center of Brighton. 10/10!!

Underrated, to say the least. The lady serving us was very nice, The food wasn't too expensive, well portioned and DELICIOUS. We were going to give this place a miss, but I'm wholey glad we didn't. Food came out within 20 minutes despite the fact that there were 8 of us.

I have been here a couple of times to have the Betterday Ramen and so far it is my favourite ramen in Brighton - the toppings are great! Good value for money too. The waitress is also really friendly and quick! I found through an Instagram advert just before my lunchbreak - it was great timing and I went straight there, glad it was lush!

Don't make the same mistake I did and leave it too long to try this place! It's a miserable rainy night and a kimchi and tofu ramen here cheered me up a lot. There are plenty of other options too. Really excellent, one of the best ramen I've had! Try it before it gets more busy!

I've been wanting to go here for weeks, and it did not disappoint! The staff were welcoming, and the food was equally stellar. We have the Veg platter as a starter and K Pop veg/vg rice as mains. Oh, and they're dog friendly, too.

The whole menu was just meh. It had some Korean dishes but also chips and sausage. So dob't expect much Korean cuisine. The ramen had poor quality noodles and just a bland taste. I'm glad we tried it, but won't be back.

I ordered this on UberEats, it was terrible value for money, the veggie platter was tiny and felt like a leftover Iceland party platter and the TTEOGBOKKI while nice, equated to about 3 forkfuls. Finally the fries, while I didn’t expect life changing fries from a Korean restaurant they were also tiny and relatively unspecial. In short the food was fine, but for the price and portion size not worth it.

Unfortunately has had “better days….” I don’t usually post bad reviews as I understand how damaging it can be to small businesses. However having sat on this for a good few months, it really was such a negative experience I feel it is warranted. Coming in on a Friday evening after work around 6:30 pm I was surprised to see the shop quiet. No other customers at that time which was a bit odd. Service was surprising slow given there was no one but us standing in the doorway. We requested the booth seating as there were no other diners and no reservations made. Denied and offered a small corner seat in the middle of the restaurant in front of the draughty door. Takes 10 minutes to give us a menu and some water. We order a kimchee pancake and some popcorn chicken pieces. Serves customers who come in after us promptly and gives them whatever seating they want. Also odd that their orders are served before ours ! Despite the fact that we made ours 15 minutes before they arrived. When we enquire - reason was the kitchen made a mistake and therefore they get theirs first… no apology offered or reason given before we asked. Disappointed to find the pancake (which was cold by time we received it ) to be soggy in the middle and burnt on the outside… Chicken was taken to go as I wasn’t happy putting up with such poor service. Very mediocre… not worth the price. Ended up dining across the street at Honest Burger - orders of magnitude better… and saved my evening! Quite possibly the worst Korean restaurant I’ve been to in a while … and the service is inexcusable.

Really bland Ramen, nothing had any flavour and despite there being a sign on the window advertising a lunch deal, when we went to pay she said that deal is no longer running and she needed to wipe it off the window so we had to pay full price. Very disappointing, will not be returning.

Genuinely really good food and lovely service. Visited on a couple of occasions during our stay in Brighton and each time was fantastic. Wouldn't be too familiar with Korean food , but from what I had it was delicious (Bibim Mandu; with an excellent side of salad in a lovely sauce, and the Beef Bulgogi) definitely would visit again on a return to Brighton ;)

First time I’ve had Ramen (my loss); I’ve ordered kimchi ramen with extra sausage for protein (and after reading other options about being proper Korean). It felt fresh and full of flavour, a little spicy but just about to feel the kick. Big portion, I didn’t have any starter and I was ok. The place is small but you have seats outside if you feel like.

WHAT A GEM! My boyfriend and I came down from London for a day/night by the sea and were walking about the lanes and surrounding area looking for a place to have dinner when we stumbled across this restaurant. The food 20/10 and everyone is very lovely and fun to chat to and the the price for the portion size you get is also fantastic. Never have seen ramen this big ate the rest for breakfast. Looking forward to my next Brighton trip just to eat here 👏🏽 I also would like to add that it was so good we returned the next day before leaving for home to have more 😂

What a delightful and delicious place! The kimchi pancake was so yummy, perfect for sharing, and the Kimchi ramen was absolute 🔥 The broth was so rich and velvety, the noodles cooked to perfection and the fried tofu was so delicious!! My girlfriend had the Deonjang ramen which was also really tasty. The staff was so welcoming and kind, and the place has a lovely atmosphere with the little drawings of mushrooms on the windows and the decoration is really sweet. Do yourself a favour and go visit Betterday in Brighton! 맛있어요!
