These guys no how to serve “real” coffee. Superb.

Today was the second time we went to this cafe. And it was disappointing: the espresso was cold and the cappuccino was lukewarm after a 20 minute wait. There won't be any other times. I don't recommend it.

Sat in for a spot of brunch tucking into a spinach and ricotta roll with I think the most aesthetically pleasing mocha I’ve seen. Also, the taste matched the presentation. This may be the best coffee in town!

Far too expensive for a small coffee. Shocked that they charged 50p for soya alternative, even though this is free in most other coffee shops I know.

Lovely coffee shop, with great coffee and delicious food. Pricing is decent and they have a loyalty scheme too. Staff are friendly and after a couple of visits generally remember your order which is a great touch.

The coffee is amazing. last time I went the tall blonde guy with glasses working was getting visibly frustrated with a woman who spoke broken English and was struggling to count out her change. After she left he was openly discussing how annoying that was with his colleague for everyone to hear. Community coffee shop lacking a sense of community 👍🏽

Lovely bright little venue. I'm not a coffee drinker but listening to the staff talk to the coffee drinkers, these fellows know their stuff. Vegan cake selection, unobtrusive music, and nice tea. Well worth popping in if you're on Boundary Road.

Always very friendly and welcoming. They make fantastic cup of coffee to drink in or take away. They also will give guidance on coffee beans to but for use at home.

What more can I say? The best almond cappuccino around. The staff are always friendly and happy. It’s clean and welcoming.

Honestly the best tasting coffee in the area in my opinion. Whether in a rush and on the go or have time too sit in the standard stays high and I’m always shocked they remember my order even if I’ve not been in for a while. GREAT customer service in my eyes and without breaking the bank!!

Sadly this is what I call a sad state of the arts cafe if the staff are not friendly I ordered tea snd cake The cake did not taste of anything that it was advertised as apple cake so I asked about it and said I couldn’t taste any apple The lady Asked what did it taste of I said bicarbonate of soda was what I could taste The lady then said oh And did not apologise or even ask if I wanted something else I felt pretty upset by the experience and wondered if I should ask for a refund but I was worried about the response snd hate confrontation I thought it would have been quite normal to want to please the customer instead I sat here feeling really upset I then thought we’ll this is what receives are for Of course I did not eat the cake . And of course I will not come back here - It May look funky place but hey it’sservice that really can make a space place and environment. I hope they may see this and remember that the customer and their experience is really important

Had a quick little visit recently on a lunch break with work colleagues and all of us commented on something not quite right with the drinks. All the coffees had a strange burnt taste to them, shame because quite area.

Visited this shop last week with my boyfriend and wasn’t impressed at all with the coffee or hygiene. Me and my partner both had Latte’s which Luke warm at best and had chemical taste to them. Then we noticed there were ants on the table which we raised with the staff member who didn’t seem that concerned. As we left we noticed the ants were a result of a dis-guarded lolly under the table. Safe to say we will not be returning anytime soon. I would expect in the current climate that hygiene and cleanliness when dealing with the public is of the upmost importance.

Coffee seems to vary depending on the barista but over all it’s a good place to go, though the shop opposite is now doing food. Might be nice to have a little more variety of things to eat, but it is a very small space.

When it comes to coffee shops in Brighton/Hove/Portslade, we are overwhelmed with choice. When it comes to GREAT coffee shops that are special enough to make you want to keep coming back, well, those are few and far between. Blend is one of them! The coffee is consistently delicious, the cakes and brownies are always different and tempting, the shop itself is always clean, and especially on a nice sunny day, it's a lovely spot to sit in, or outside. For me personally, the most important thing is the staff, and how they greet you, even if they are busy. At Blend, everyone is so friendly, welcoming, attentive and kind, every single time, to absolutely everyone. I'm lucky to have them as my local coffee shop, but if you're just passing through, it's definitely worth paying them a visit. 10/10 :)

If your after a good quality coffee then Blend in Portslade is the place to go with a chilled atmosphere and friendly and welcoming staff . And to top it off the freshly baked treats are delightful. If your after some quality quiet time then Blend is unique place to relax with a friend or family or even sit quietly while you work.

Been putting this establishment to the test for the past couple of months and really pleased with what's being served. During winter tried the hot chocolate and found majority of the time it was enjoyable. (Unless has more water than milk). As weather is warming up I'm putting the food to the test and found the £3.50 sausage rolls and other choices to be somewhat very filling.. Staff friendly too and overall really pleased.. Meets my expectation as a customer

Really love Blend! The coffee is excellent and they have such a delicious array of tasty treats too. We are ALWAYS served with big smiles and friendly chat so a visit there is such a pleasure!

I discovered this place over lockdown, and I am so glad I did! The coffee is amazing, and the staff are always friendly and helpful, especially when I have had questions (mainly about buying bags of coffee as presents!) Couldn't recommend enough!
