Oh it was lovely to see the live music back after a long time. Had one of the good night outs in a while in Brighton. Had a great chat with Chris at the door, he’s as great as his beard. The man does know how to keep the place lively and keep the guests happy.

Xanthe, Joel and Xghara (hoping I spelt that right) were absolute legends! So lovely and welcoming. Had such a fabulous night with great drinks! Prices are amazing for central Brighton and the vibe of the place is amazing.

Worst service I have ever experienced in my life. Firstly, I ask for a cocktail and they run out of it, but ok fair. Secondly, on the menu there was a 2 for 1 deal and they said they couldn’t provide it for the day as there was the Euros match. Didn’t write it anywhere, felt like the waitress just made it up. Thirdly, we specifically booked a table in front of the TV for the euros and the TV stopped working. They said that someone broke it beforehand. Then don’t put on your website that there is availability if you’re not sure as the TV is broken. I was really upset and asked for any kind of support and the only thing they could say was “not my fault”. But it is, as you say provide a service when you actually don’t . Not to talk about the tone they have used. I never leave bad reviews, but this time it was too much. They just want to take your moment and don’t care to satisfy customers. Never going back

Cheap place to have your first drinks. However atmosphere is very untidy, crazy loud music for no reason, not the most friendly staff as well!

It was a great experience, we’ve had so much fun! The barkeeper was the sweetest person ever. It was lovely.

Had a great evening in here during a trip to Brighton. Joined in with the Thursday night quiz which was good fun and well attended (by much smarter people than us) ate burgers and drank £4 cocktails. What more could you want? Everyone friendly and the atmosphere good, well done to the team!

Liked the venue but we had wanted to eat and they ran out of food early and would not let us bring anything in (we were waiting for the quiz or we would have left at that point). Then the quiz was cancelled! Though they handled that part admirably :) (Small point of order: we weren't given a reason for not being able to bring food in. Not faulting the staff, just disappointed with the policy. Would also be great to make that advice easy to spot :) )

Fish & chips was surprisingly good and such a bargain price with a pint before 5pm. Nice pub, central, showing the football. What more could you want?!

Buffet booking for 70 senior citizens. Spacious area, tables for 4 to 8. A good variety of buffet style food, cutlery and napkins provided. All of the seniors said how efficient and helpful waiting staff were. One thing we would change, and this is more of a suggestion, rather than a criticism. To mark all food with labels, in particular the vegetarian choice to allow guests to make a sensible choice. Otherwise a perfect afternoon in a warm and comfortable venue.

So after being let down on a booking in a nearby pub we decided to try here for our Xmas get together. On arrival the pub was busy but we managed to find a table for 6 of us. The food was good and drinks were cheap would defo return but would have liked to try the Xmas menu which wasn’t being served today.

This pub has become my local ,a 5 star service all round . Polite staff ***** Fantastic service ***** Fantastic food ***** Toilets kept spotlessly , no pongs ***** Would recommend this pub to anyone . Matt wing

Music played was far too loud (louder than most Brighton clubs, but did not offer earplugs), where both the DJ & bar staff were unwilling to lower it. The drinks were overpriced (eg Appletizer was £4), cheap decorations, large bar space which felt empty — never going back

They had a DJ, we had a good dance to some old school 80s music. Drinks reasonably priced & the food was nice and cheap.

Pub was called in on after being limited to our options due to how busy the neighbouring pubs were. We stayed until last orders and the vibe and music was very good. Pricing was great for this type of pub and felt very welcome by staff.

Came in on a Friday at around 5pm , very busy , combined with a birthday party, was on my own but made to feel welcome explained to food menu choices and excellent pint...most notably fabulous attentive team working together, providing quality service , was a pleasure , been before probably March and team the same ...humbly well done :) Richard ( Brighton visitor)

The staff are very professional here. The TV wasn't too loud when the match was on but the lavatories in here on our visit were awful. Awful in the sense that they hadn't been checked for a long time and the cubicles were in a right state.

Cheap drinks no real atmosphere maybe as it was only 6.30 Friday. Lovely decor. Large seating area.

I loved the ambiance of this very friendly pub. Staff were lovely, patrons friendly and trivia night a hoot. Shame we ate beforehand though, the meals looked good

Lovely refurbishment. Nice atmosphere. Had the nachos and steak sandwich between us. Staff were friendly and helpful as the table app wasn’t working. Food was tasty and great value for money. Toilets were immaculate!

Nice Mitchell's and Butler pub. Well attended quiz night was on when we were there. V competitive prices for our drinks and food (particularly after being mugged earlier in the day by the price for 2 beers on Brighton Pier 😭) Thank you to Xaghra and Amy for looking after us so well 👍

Food at a really reasonable price, with a drink for a pound extra, lovely staff. We got 2 fish and chips with mushy peas and 2 glasses of wine, and a pint for the price of 2 fish and chips at the sea front... Great value. :)

Great chips and drinks, not too expensive. Great for watching sports as they can split the TV's so multiple sports can be shown at once such as f1 and football so don't be too worried about clashes assuming the tablet need to change the screens work. Staff are nice and apologetic if they cannot split the screens

We are a large family group, we have used the pub during lunch time and the evening (until 8pm) for drinks and food, and we have all always enjoyed the atmosphere. This combined with the contemporary art deco and friendly staff has made it our go-to place!!

Didn't have a reservation, but we were welcomed and seated promptly and efficiently. Pizza was wonderful, thin crust and very tasty. Pasta great. Bill very reasonable. I would definitely recommend as a great choice for families eating out in Brighton.

we were in brighton for the day and were hungry. we visited this bella italia,which was the first time we hade been to one of their restaurants for years.We were pleasantly surprised in the variety of the menu and we all found something we could enjoy. Our teenage son in particular who is fussy over what will eat found the American burger delicious. I had a carne vita pizza which was enjoyable but although it was described as a thin crust, the crust was almost non existent . My wife enjoyed her margharita pizza.The service was acceptable. I would suggest that they add some more variety to their special evening menu as their wasn't really that much to attract you to it.

Pop in on a Friday after work for a quick pint. Service is always friendly and the beer good. It's a deceptively large pub, much bigger than it looks from outside. It's comfortable seating and table spacing make it a relaxing place to visit

Team Fitz were amazing at our recent work Christmas Party, friendly, professional and reliable from start to finish (exclusive venue use). The venue is beautiful inside and the food was yummy too, we all had a great night and can’t thank the team enough. I would highly recommend.

I've just discovered this bar and I really like it. Lovely decor and it's a nice place to visit as the music is not blaring out so you can actually sit and have chats with your friends. Staff are very friendly.

My wife and I went to the Fitz Regent today and had a very enjoyable lunch today. Nothing was too much trouble and the service was better than a top class restaurant. We will pop in there many lunchtimes in the future. I must mention that the toilets are the cleanest and most attractive I have seen .

i visited last Sunday and i thought it was spectacular, the girl behind the bar, i think her name was Amy, was great and very helpful. i will be coming again!

Hadn’t been to the Fitz Regent in a while so I’m glad we decided to pop in. We only went for a quick drink while out shopping but as we were so comfortable and enjoying the atmosphere, we decided to stay for a bite to eat. The food was great, served by genuinely warm hearted staff, I think it might be under new management. We’ll definitely be back, if only for the cocktails.

The notorious P.I.G was the single best burger I’ve ever had at a restaurant. First choice every time!

They renovated this place and its amazing.

Embarrassing. Went there for dinner and drinks, asked to open a food tab, so we could all order and pay at the end. The person who served us missed half our food orders on the system, and didn’t even think of checking that every meal was out before kitchen closed at 9pm. We were a big group, it would have been suspicious to see only six meals leave the kitchen, out of 12?! Long story short, half of us got their food, the rest waited until 9:30 to then hear that there was a mistake, but the kitchen was now shut, so no food for us. The members of staff didn’t do much to rectify the situation. I wouldn’t recommend going!

I have come to The Fitz Regent multiple times and each time I’ve had an extremely enjoyable experience. A lovely young lady named Mia was bartending and she made my trips there very easy and swift, she poured me some amazing drinks and left me feeling very welcomed in the bar. All over a 10/10 from me - will definitely be back… A LOT!!

10/10 experience served my lovely girl Mia
