The Garden Cafe in Brighton and Hove

Went there during a visit in Brighton and loved the beautiful aesthetics. The menu has lots of tasty food and nice staff. Would recommend!

I visited this cafe for the first time since lockdown March 2020. We highly rated the food and service on our last visits. Today however was like visiting a completely different cafe. The food was terrible and cost was out of hand. Thin cheap supermarket bread and burnt egg. Never again

We visited twice over the last bank holiday-the second time because we liked it so much. The glorious weather contributed to our enjoyment.The staff were great and the food well presented. I was suprised how quiet it was considering the bank holiday. It was a lovely peaceful start to the day and so much cheaper than nearer to the sea front.

Don’t be fooled. It looks nothing like the above pictures. Drab and overpriced. Yes the cakes are delicious. But other cafes also serve delicious cakes and in more comfortable, pleasing to the eye surroundings.

Lovely quite cafe if you're looking for a place to read. Offers gluten-free food. You are allowed to bring your dog in (has to be on the lead).

My daughter had her wedding reception here and what can I say it was perfection!!Natalie and her team were incredible. From the planning stage right up to the night and even helping us clear up the day after. The place was transformed into the most amazing and beautiful dining area for our 80 guests, every detail was thought of. She had allowed us to do some of our own decorations in the cafe and outside in the gardens,but the tables were laid so perfectly, it was like a big Italian wedding which is how we wanted it to feel.The food was sublime, Natalie catered for everyone including vegetarians and vegans. The jerk chicken was totally authentic, cooked on a drum BBQafter we had eaten, the tables were quickly cleared away and the room was again transformed into a dance area. The wine and prosecco were lovely and all this I would say for a very reasonable price, considering how much work was needed.Thank you Natalie and all your helpers for a really perfect wedding!

This is a great location in the middle of our favourite park. It serves slightly overpriced 'park food' of varying quality. The staff are equally as varied. Some friendly and helpful, others surly. There is lots of dirty furniture including horrible old leather sofas left outside! Overall it is average to below average and I always think it is such a shame as it could be amazing given the position.

Travelled down from Cumbria for a family funeral & wanted to make sure we had a place that could seat us all together easily, along with 90 year old Mum! Called a few days ahead and staff were happy to organise a table for us and could not have been more helpful and friendly with all our orders. Food was all great and we were very happy to have found this friendly spot. Thank you.

We hired Garden Party Catering & Events for our recent garden party wedding.Natalie was so helpful with our menu and Juliette and the staff on the day, we're just fantastic!! We were so happy with the service, they were so polite, friendly and happy!! We had many different types of dietary needs for our guests to cater for and we received so many compliments for the food! We are Vegan and we were very well catered for, as were the vegetarians and meat eaters!! ... The cakes were all so nice and we even had vegan cakes supplied! I would highly recommend your service and thank you all so much for making our day so lovely!!

St Anns Well Graden Cafe made out wedding day very special. The initial planning with Natalie and the staff made everything go smoothly. They gave us advise and we were able to mix and match ideas, which relieved a lot of stress. I would recommend the location to any one wishing to have a party, wedding, etc. Beautiful surrounding, helpful staff, great catering food and choice, can play load music and hiring time can be extended. We had a fantastic experience here at Garden Cafe last Friday. We wanted a place for our families to meet the day after our wedding for brunch. We called and spoke to Carl earlier in the week and nothing was too much trouble! He saved us a huge space for 30 people on the day and his staff really looked after us in a casual and relaxed fashion. The food was fab too! We highly recommend this cafe. Carl has got it so right! It's relaxed, accommodating and delicious! Thanks!

We booked The Garden Cafe as the place to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday. The cafe and setting are both lovely and Natalie runs a very smooth operation when it comes to organising special events. The catering was fabulous and reasonably priced, while the team on the night - led by Carl and Jodie - were exceptionally discreet, friendly and professional. We would absolutely recommend this venue for special events.

As a regular customer (over 8 years now) I couldn't recommend the Garden Cafe more. Simply stunning food, breakfasts are amazing (the recent addition of smashed avocado is delicious), great cakes and everything is home made.

Great Cafe with a good atmosphere and great tasty food, only issue is the price of the food I order differs dependant on who serves you, which is a shame as it's a great place. So try not to order anything not on the menu as the prices will differ daily.

I rediscovered this when a friend suggested meeting there. We had a lovely relaxed lunch, well as relaxed as you can with a toddler. The cafe has some toys to entertain children and is totally child friendly. We were inside due to rain but in better weather you can easily take drinks and snacks outside. Food was delicious, good sized portions and reasonably prices. Since then I have been back with other friends and had equally good food

I had my 40th birthday here over the summer and it was absolutely perfect. With the option of outdoors or in, we got to enjoy the British summer, without worrying whether what the weather would do (it was glorious on the day). The event went really well. The cafe created a lovely outdoor area with sofas and a bar and games for the kids. Then put on a BBQ later, which was fantastic. Lovely team, lovely day - thanks guys :-)

Went here for the first time recently, absolutely fantastic venue in the best part of Hove, great food and a fantastic atmosphere. I Will be returning very soon.

Amazing food, lovely helpful staff who made the bridal shower I planned run smoothly. Everyone had a fabulous time. Went here for a work Tapas night and it was fab! Had such a lovely time, food was amazing, sangria by the jug load and such wonderfully lovely staff. Can't wait to go back! Thank you for such a lovely evening!

Having visited a number of tapas places, both in and out of Spain, I can happily say the The Garden Cafe puts on the best spread.

Good place for small parties...especially kids' birthday parties. Big lawns in the front. A children's play park about 50m away. Very scenic in good weather. Cafe itself can be unpredictable as it depends on the staff there.

Such a great venue. Been here a few times for Tapas and events and then lunch. Food is lush and staff are friendly and accommodating. Food is always good but love the fact that it is such a gem of a place in the middle of a park in Hove. Homemade focciata break is lovely. Highly recommended :-)

What a wonderful venue to have an event! We hired the cafe for a surprise 70th birthday for our mother and the night, and Cafe, exceeded our expectations by far. The cafe was decorated so beautifully and organised extremely well, that in fact all we needed to do was turn up. Natalie guided us through the party planning and options so efficiently and we had every trust and confidence in her, and her amazing team of staff.

We were really over the moon with our wedding reception at the Café. The decoration that we requested looked so beautiful all the food was absolutely delicious and this was reiterated by so many of our guests. Natalie and her staff worked non-stop in making sure it all ran smoothly and we loved the relaxed and laid back feel that they managed to create despite the fact that they were all working like Trojans! Natalie made us feel so reassured before hand that all we need do was turn up and all would be taken care of, especially as the weather was due to be a bit hit and miss and indeed it was! That in particular was really appreciated and we had such a beautiful relaxed day. Such good value for money too.

Absolutely fantastic venue. Great food, great staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The decorations and flowers were amazing. All of our friends and family had nothing but praise. I organised a work event here and it was fantastic! The team were really helpful and I really didn't have to worry about a thing. We had a BBQ on the lawn just outside the cafe. I hired the sofas, gazebos and some games. When I arrived everything was already setup for us making my life very easy. The food was fantastic and there was plenty of it too. I'd definitely return for another event. You do however rely on the weather somewhat as it is a public venue you can't hire the cafe itself exclusively until after 4 pm but we didn't see that as an issue at all.

We held our wedding reception here in April and could not recommend it enough! Natalie and Juliette & all the staff were just fab all the way through, happy to meet as often as I needed in the run up (and help with my wedding stress!), super flexible with any requests we made and the day itself was perfect and ran really smoothly. They set everything up perfectly which took a lot of stress out of the day for me too.

I had not had a party for years, so this was an occasion to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays. I wanted it to be in a natural setting and to be informal. Having spoken with Natalie it offered indoor and outdoor space and I chose to have a tapas buffet and a disco. Natalie's team responded to special requests I had, to my questions and gave me the sense they were trying to take away as much of the angst as possible. The organisation was superb. And the food. Beautiful, well presented and freshly prepared. The staff worked incredibly hard and unobtrusively to make it such a special occasion for my guests and myself.

We chose the Garden Cafe for our wedding reception venue because it is a lovely intimate space in a wonderful location and at a very reasonable price. The Cafe looks stunning when decorated and Natalie and her team were so helpful in getting things organised for the day and with setting up. The 3 course meal that we had there after our wedding was the highlight of the day for me, the Cafe looked beautiful decorated with bunting and flowers and white table cloths, just the vintage feel we were after. All the guests commented on how wonderful the food was and the staff were really attentive. The Cafe then seamlessly changed into a funky evening venue for the after party, with the outdoor sofas and candle light a great additional space for guests to chill out in. We really felt that it mattered to all the staff that everything went perfectly and it did - I couldn't recommend highly enough as a wedding venue - lots of our guests said it was the best and most laid back wedding they had ever been to!

We are so glad we chose The Garden Cafe team to provide food, flowers and to set up for our wedding reception. The food, a tapas lunch and an evening barbecue, was incredible, pleasing both the English and the Spanish families. The flowers looked lovely and the barn was set up exactly as we wanted. Natalie and Juliette helped us achieve a relaxed, informal reception; the day ran smoothly and everyone had a great time. They went above and beyond what we had expected, even popping out to get more beer for our bar!

I was a part of a group organising a company Summer Party, we chose the Garden cafe after a recommendation from a colleague who had celebrated their wedding party at the cafe last year.

Seating inside and outside. Service good and food prepared fresh. Great selection on the menu to cater for all. Lovely children's park next door which caters for all ages.

On Saturday I held my 40th birthday party at The Garden Cafe and it was a fantastic day. Natalie and her team are excellent, the cafe was decorated beautifully, the food was very good and the sunshine stayed with us all evening so we could enjoy the gorgeous surroundings of St Anne's Well Gardens and the giant garden games we hired. I couldn't have hoped for a better day!

I have read many other reviews of this place and they all seem to agree with my very positive thoughts. The park/gardens are a delight to visit and this place is definitely the icing on the cake. Whatever time of day you visit this place will provide to with the refreshments you need with a smile. Worth going out of your way to visit.

This oasis in Hove (actually) has certainly been here at least 25 years - and maybe longer - and my kids loved it. Now I come here with granddaughter and she loves it too.

We had a fantastic wedding party in the Garden Cafe. Natalie and Juliette were both very accommodating and helpful. The food was great and got lots of compliments from our guests. The staff were all very helpful and flexible about when to serve up.

My daughter chose the Garden Café for her wedding party because it was an unusual setting, there were no neighbours to worry about the noise and she was able to have everything she wanted at a reasonable cost. Natalie who runs the café couldn't have been more helpful with all our requests and even put up our bunting beforehand, we made all the decorations ourselves. The food was really good, we had a hog roast and the staff provided an efficient and friendly service. We would certainly recommend it for any party.

I have visited this cafe a lot over the years in Hove with friends, friends kids, and adults in wheelchairs and have always found it accessible, friendly, good quality reasonably priced food. I know they do special evening events too though cannot comment as not been to one. It is great in summer as you can sit out and enjoy the park too.

This place is perfect, the food is wonderful, the staff are great, the owner is a delight , can't praise it anymore , try the tapas in the summer simply sublime !

WOW, from the moment of meeting Juliet & Natalie I knew that our Wedding Party was in safe hands. It was so obvious that their primary concern is that you have a fantastic time, that it is relaxed, with fantastic food & excellent service and that is exactly what they delivered. Some friends went early to arrange the final decorations and couldn`t have been more complementary about Natalie & the staff. Once we arrived, Natalie found me and re-assured me that everything was in hand (I knew it would be!). The venue was perfect for a relaxed, laid-back informal "do". The staff were terrific. The food was delicious. We cannot praise Natalie & Juliet enough, they do a fantastic job, and make everything go smoothly with their superb organisational & management skills. we have been back here many times and each time the food /service and value have always been great. The bonus being you have a fantastic park and lovely surroundings for the kids to play in. Great for all the family we'll def be back again.

we recently had a party at the Garden café to celebrate our wedding and it was brilliant! we chose the café because we wanted somewhere laid back and a bit different - somewhere that would be great for the kids to run around earlier in the day and would then turn into a party venue in the evening - and the cafe definitely ticked all the boxes. Everyone loved the setting and Natalie and the team set out lawn games and party food for the kids and delicious canapés and prosecco for the grown ups, all enjoyed in the afternoon sunshine. Once the lights went down (and the kids went home), the cafe turned into a fantastic party venue. it was decorated really nicely and the music was great (we had a DJ who was recommended by the café). We had the tapas buffet which worked perfectly with our laid back evening and everyone loved the food. Natalie was great with the planning and run up to the evening and Juliette, Karl and the team were brilliant on the night, making sure that everyone's glasses were topped up and that everyone was happy. everyone had such a great day/night and we definitely recommend the garden cafe for parties!

Now, this isn't your average cafe. No, it's far more than that! They have a fine menu together with an excellent selection of tapas! The service is swift and courteous. No complaints about the decor either, as the look and feel of the place is way above what you would expect of a 'cafe'. Recommended!

We had our wedding reception at the Garden Cafe and it was amazing. Natalie and her team where an amazing help. We had a picnic sharing platter and an evening barbecue. The food was lovely and the cafe look AMAZING. The staff all worked really had to make it look exactly how we wanted it. Everyone had a great time. It was also a great place for the evening do as it felt really special to have it in the centre of such a lovely park. We also had an ice cream van and festival stalls to make it feel like a mini festival. An amazing day I will never forget and still makes me smile to think of it weeks later.

Had a brilliant time at The Garden Café for a private event. Couldn't have asked for a better venue in an informal setting. The amount & quality of food the kitchen was able to conjure up was pretty special as well. Lots of nice little touches in general, also a late bar, music, and decent location. Great time.

I had the pleasure of being invited to a wedding reception here and it ticked all the boxes perfectly! The cafe had a nice intimate feel to it and the setting of St Ann's Well Gardens provides a beautiful environment. The staff were great, the service very friendly and attentive and the food top notch. It all made for a truly special day and evening. I would happily return again and again, be it for a visit or to hire.

We recently went to a friends wedding here, which was in one word... Sublime! The place looked amazing, so much care and attention had gone into every detail and the food was top notch! My wife and I often go to the gardens with our daughter, but from now on we will be making a very intentional detour for a bite to eat!

Had a very tasty BLT here the other day. This place could be even better if it invested in table cloths, tea pots and cups instead of chipped mugs and communal milk jug.

If you fancy something different in Hove then try the Garden cafe with it pretty decor and even prettier flowers.

I love this place, amazing food and even better staff. I often go along for Tapas and the food easily matches any of your tapas restaurants in Brighton, but with the advantage of a quiet surrounding and a fantastic atmosphere. Such friendly and welcoming staff make it a great night out and unbeatable value for money!

We had our work summer party here and it was just lovely. During the day we had giant games on the lawns (e.g. connect4), children (and dogs!) were welcome and we were looked after brilliantly. The staff were really accommodating and friendly and overall the vibe was just great.

The Food was fantastic, great location and friendly staff. We were a large group (35ish) and everything came out quickly and piping hot.

We went to The Garden Cafe for an office social event and enjoyed some of the best Spanish tapas I've ever had. I couldn't fault the food, service and atmosphere in any way. Highly recommended!

We had our wedding at the Garden Cafe in Hove on July 5th 2014 and the entire experience was fantastic. We were looking for a venue that had more character and flexibility than your standard Brighton package deal venues. After so many disappointing visits to various golf course club houses, hotels and country inns around Sussex, our first visit to the Garden cafe gave us that warm fuzzy feeling that we had found the perfect venue that would balance quality, flexibility, personality and functionality at a very good price (for Brighton standards). Natalie was very helpful with the planning, and we were able to fully customize the food for the night to cater for all of our guests needs which was incredible. We asked for a BBQ theme so chose a variety of grilled meats and sea food along with a big selection of salads and vegetarian options. We were allowed to bring our own wedding cake but decided to have the cafe make amazing cupcakes for us instead. The cafe was the perfect size to fit our 100 guests and the lovely park setting made it very easy for all the guests to feel comfortable. We had 15 or so children present and they loved playing in the park and the table tennis. Natalie and her team were fantastic during the event, very nice and professional, and frankly we did not have to think about anything throughout the afternoon and evening which is a clear indication of how hard they worked. The food was planned (and cooked) to perfection and all the guests complemented the variety and taste. We had to rent our own sound system which was fine, and they were able to buy a late permit so that we could party until 1:00am (respect the neighbours!). All in all the whole day went extremely smoothly. Thank you very much Natalie and staff for a very memorable day! We cannot recommend the Garden cafe enough for any couples looking for a fun and personal venue in the heart of Brighton and Hove. Linda and Fred.

We selected The Garden Cafe for our annual work summer party. We totally lucked out on the weather and from the organisation in the run up to the party, to the sublime food on the day - it was dream. We had the hog roast which was delicious! Service was seamless and with a smile :)

We used the garden cafe for the catering of our wedding. Service from the moment I made initial contact with Natalie right up to the day was top notch. Natalie listened to our ideas and used her expertise to make any suggestions. On our actual wedding day the food, the service and experience was super. The Garden Cafe was ideal for my daughter's naming and birthday celebrations. I had been before with friends and children - it's by far the nicest park cafe in Brighton. As it was such a beautiful day, we had gazebos, tables and chairs set up on the lawn and we served afternoon tea, with prosecco and beer. Everything was delicious - I don't eat wheat and I'm usually disappointed with my alternatives when I see what everyone else has, but that wasn't the case here. Similarly, my lactose-intolerant friend was delighted with what they'd come up with for her. Everyone commented on how great the food was and the service was second to none. Carl was especially brilliant - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to Natalie and the team for a perfect day. I would definitely use Garden Cafe catering again and recommend to friends.

We visited the Garden Cafe on a hot day in June for a picnic for a number of elderly local residents. The cafe put on a outstanding spread of food, the staff were extremely helpful and the gazebos they put up gave us a restbite from the scorching sun. An excellent time was had by all!

Perfect venue in glorious sunshine for our granddaughter's naming day and birthday celebration yesterday.The service was speedy,excellent, efficient and extremely pleasant throughout the afternoon. My daughter had opted for afternoon tea which was delicious. Plentiful savoury delicacies, scones and cream, meringues, delicious raspberry and cream slices and with all tastes and dietary options catered for. The manager in charge was most helpful and accommodating during or visit and nothing was too much trouble for him or the rest of the staff. The Garden Cafe certainly helped to make it a delightful and memorable celebration.

The weather was bang-on cue for the first Friday tapas night of the summer. Almost everyone had chosen to eat outdoors and so did we. Service was a little slow to start with - not surprising though as there were several large groups ahead of us. We ordered some staple tapas - tortilla, patatas bravas and garlic prawns, bread & aoli, house salad, rioja and one of the specials - the salt & pepper squid. We need to wait a little longer for the squid but it was worth it - the highlight of our meal. Our meal was excellent value for money - next time we'll be greedier & try more of the specials.

I have tried them all & without a doubt this is the best park cafe in whole of Brighton & Hove. Quick, efficient & pleasant service. Full scale meals, snacks & a fast track ice creams queue.

Natalie catered for our girls' christening party and provided a great spread for the grown -ups! Very flexible about menu choices with some good ideas. And the food was excellent - exactly what we hoped for, tasty and the right amounts (or more than enough, I should say!). Would highly recommend and will be back in touch for the next event! Thanks!

I was looking for a venue in the Brighton area for a 40th birthday lunch for around 50 guests including lots of children. The Garden Café fitted the bill perfectly and Natalie was very helpful and creative in coming up with an appropirate buffet menu.

Natalie and Juliette put on a great kids tea party for my 2 year old. They decorated a lovely area with balloons and party tablecloths etc. Food was healthy, plentiful and fresh, and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended for a great place to hold a party!

Thoroughly recommend Natalie and her team for outside catering. The menu choices were carefully put together, the food of course was excellent. The estimates and invoicing were spot on. Natalie and her team set up the "vintage afternoon tea" at our venue , it looked beautiful, on tiered cake stands, with separate menu for the children. The mini meringues and mini scones and cream were delicious. Natalie whizzed around with the bubbly, ensuring that the guests were looked after, then cleared everything away afterwards. It was great to be able to relax and enjoy the special family day, knowing that the catering was in such professional hands.

We couldn't have asked for a more reliable and friendly team as we planned our celebration! We worked closely with Natalie, who was always relaxed and full of good ideas. The food was delicious and excellent value. On the evening of our party, all of the staff were cheerful and efficient. The pre-arranged decorations were all in order and the grounds of the cafe created a beautiful setting for our event - even in the rain! Plus, the staff were incredibly flexible when some of our guests arrived early - we are so thankful for the accommodating and warm welcome they received. We couldn't believe our luck when we stumbled on this little gem and we can't recommend it highly enough!

The food is nice, the service is fine & the place is spotless, however I can't understand why cheap condiments are used as well as the horrible cutlery and napkins that you could literally see through. The food is not cheap, so I felt a little let down by the cutlery etc. Hey ho, you can't have everything I suppose. .

We have just held our wedding reception at the garden cafe, it was absolutely amazing, tapas under gazebos outside the cafe in the afternoon then disco dancing and another buffett in the cafe until late in the evening in the cafe, nothing was too much trouble and everything ran smoothly, the food and staff was amazing, we had the most perfect day, we would highly recommend it. Our guests were also full of compliments, everyone had such great food and fun in the sunshine in an amazing setting.

I needed to find a fab venue with outdoor space for a company event and praise be to the independent quality food and wine gods/goddesses for leading me to The Garden Café. Pre event meetings were relaxed, powered by excellent Flat Whites, and what made the whole experience a pleasure was working with Juliette and Natalie along with their excellent staff. The evening event was a blast, despite some inevitable last minute requests and changes, nothing was too much trouble and the Café team were happy to play things by ear as well as help me out no end to get trees decorated, lanterns lit and fizz chilled. They provided excellent healthy-ish picnic lunches with delicious homemade slabs of brownies and flapjacks and the evening catering was fantastic. A BBQ for 70-80 of top quality meat and veg options. I could not recommend working with this team highly enough. Whatever you have in mind they will make it work. Big thanks and thumbs up from me.

The garden cafe is in a wonderful setting in St Anne's Well gardens. There are plenty of outside tables both in the shade and in the full sun to suit everyone. The service is prompt and efficient and the coffee and tea excellent. I had a piece of Carrot cake on my last visit which was very good. The cafe is perfect for singles and families alike. If you sit out on the grass you may be able to enjoy people playing bowls in the club next door- we did. I have heard that the Spanish night on Fridays in very good and will try it out soon. Perfect for a relaxing lunch or afternoon tea break.

This is a lovely little cafe - came here for drinks and BBQ food there for a private hire, all of which were lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the surroundings were gorgeous and we even had a good old dance inside - all in all a lovely experience.

Chose the Garden Cafe as a venue for a Children's Society summer party. Very friendly, accomodating staff with a personal approach. Yummy food. Great spot. Perfect weather!! Highly recommended.

We had a work event at The Garden Cafe - including a great outdoor BBQ - with lots of tasty side salads and celebratory drinks! Will definitely be re-visiting.

Visited the Garden Cafe as the final stop on amazing work treasure hunt. Enjoyed a fantastic BBQ laid on by the venue and the beautiful grounds. I'd definitely recommend a visit- particularly for private hire!!

My hubby & I decided to try the tapas night that is run on Fridays over the summer. I think we went a little too early to make it a romantic night as there were lots of children around.

The staff are accommodating and very friendly. The bbq food at our event was tasty. The park is lovely. Highly recommended :)

The reviews of the garden cafe and St Anne's Well Gardens were so glowing, I couldn't believe they could be true but they serve super food in the most wonderful location. A couple of minor niggles that have stopped me giving 5 stars. Firstly I asked what the Quiche of Day was ( a menu item, not on the blackboard) and despite it only being shortly after midday, I was looked at with surprise and told there wasn't any quiche. Not too much of a problem, I had a backup selection ready. The second niggle was that as soon as outside tables were vacated pigeons and in one case a seagull descended and strutted all over the tables in search of leftovers. Clearly not the fault of the cafe but the only time I saw a table being wiped and sprayed with disinfectant was once when the customer requested it. If I sat outside again I would definitely ask for the table to be wiped before my food was served. That being said the food was good, well priced and attractively presented. The staff were very pleasant and the service quick and efficient. My daughter's Halloumi salad looked amazing and she said it was delicious.

Este cafe fica no parque St Annes Wells em Hove. O parque é muito gostosinho, principalmente para crianças. Sempre que levo minha sobrinha paramos neste cafe para um lanche rápido. Eles servem sanduíches bem gosotosos, a porção de nachos é uma delicia e dá pra dividir ume 3 pessoas. Tem umas tortinhas salgadas muito bem feitas e o preço é super razoável. pode sentar nas mesas pra fora ou comprar ali e fazer um piquenique na grama mesmo.

When my husband and I chose the Garden Cafe as our wedding venue, we were instantly excited, inspired and relaxed by Natalie's confidence and ideas for our big day. We wanted an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, but decoration and most importantly great food was top of our 'must have' list! Well we certainly had that. We designed a completely bespoke menu for our buffet which Juliet and her chefs prepared to an exceptional level. We are big foodies and wedding food can sometimes be disappointing, but I can honestly say that was not an issue at our wedding! Our guests were commenting all night on how beautiful the food looked and tasted.

OK, so we were blessed with a July heat wave, nonetheless it's a big responsibility for a venue, hosting not just one birthday but three (two of which were 50ths) AND a wedding reception, all rolled into one event. Our youngest attendee was four years old and our oldest eighty, so we covered the spectrum of ages, plus some guests had travelled from New Zealand – the stakes were high. Add to this that we requested both a formal sit down meal for 27 AND a buffet for 75 - it was a BIG, BIG ask, getting our celebration right.

Food is very good and great atmosphere. Ideal for both young families and the elderly. It has taken me 10 years to discover St Anne's Well park is a great park.

We recently attended a wedding reception there and it was wonderful.

i was dreading being 50 and couldnt think how i wanted to celebrate and someone suggested the Garden cafe... it was perfect! it was arranged with ease and didnt have to worry about clearing up but mainly the venue looked beautiful, the food was amazing and Natalie and the rest of the crew extremely helpful and friendly! all in all it was absolutely perfect and i ve had so many thanks from guests who had a great time, i could almost say it was worth being 50 just to have had the party there!

Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning with my partner after reading reviews on trip adviser. I think this is certainly a great cafe for dog walkers and parents and footballers etc, but not for a couple looking for a pleasant breakfast. The place is too busy and has too many kids running around - but that is great to see and I hope it is around when I'm a parent with a dog!

We and our friends and family all had a brilliant time - the cafe looked lovely, transformed from it's daytime layout and looking very welcoming with fairy lights and flowers on the tables The food was great and very nicely presented and the staff helpful, friendly and efficient. What a perfect party venue - no worries about disturbing anyone when dancing into the early hours! Many thanks to Natalie and her team for making it a night to remember!!

I held my 40th party at the Garden Cafe in St. Ann's Well Garden in Hove and it was the perfect venue. The service was was excellent from the planning to the throwing us out at in the early hours of Sunday morning. Nothing was to much trouble. We had plenty of space, played the music loud and danced till it hurt. I truly recommend this little spot for a party any time.

Natalie and the team did a fantastic job with my birthday party. Very nice food and very reasonably priced. The staff could not do enough to make the evening go well. They were well organised and were happy to order draught beer for the eveining. I would recommend this as a party venue to any of my friends.

A local friend led us here for Sunday-breakfast ~ and I can honestly say it was the nicest part of our whole trip to Brighton! It's a hustling, bustling, super-friendly place right in the middle of a very pretty park - a real hidden gem.
