The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

Absolutely shocking (pardon the pun). Went in here with my partner after a party and ordered a drink each before heading to a wall opposite the bar to drink and chat (you can see the wall in question in the attached photo). As we were chatting we went to lean against the wall and were hit with an electric shock. Accidentally I then touched the wall again and was promptly hit with another pretty painful electric shock. I looked at the wall in question and it was clearly damp and appeared that touching any part of the wall around the light switch would electrocute you. Obviously not wanting anyone else to experience this I informed a member of the bar staff and we were told that they were aware of the issue and that was it. If you’re aware of the issue why are not blocking off that wall immediately and making sure no one goes near it?! Irritated by his lack of response we then informed a bouncer who gave another nonchalant response and said they were also aware of it but nothing they could do currently. Absolute rubbish. Block the wall of so no one gets zapped!!! Disgusting attitude by the staff who clearly don’t care about the clientele. I wonder how long this wall has been in this state and I fear for the next person who brushes against it.

We often called into this lovely cafe with our granddaughter when we visit each week. Staff were always welcoming with excellent food & drinks at a very reasonable price. As such it was very sad news to hear the owners were having to close down. We always enjoyed our visits and will greatly miss you as I'm sure will all your other customers. Thank you for your services and very best wishes for the future.

Live only a few hundred yards away and go regularly for a Sunday roast . Never disappoints , well presented and good quality and portions. Plus you can have roast beef to order : in my case well done!

They have coffee, and choices are well presented above the coffee machine. Soo... yes, I did have a cappuccino and probably will have it again.

Great coffee and homemade cakes are fantastic. Everything is reasonably priced too. Would recommend.

Very nice food, very pleasant staff. Very apologetic because we had to wait a few minutes while food was prepared freshly. Highly recommend and would come back again

Outstanding eatery for a good selection of beautifully crafted bagels with great service and even better coffee. A hidden gem in Arundel and perfect for brunch whilst out on the SDW.

Such a beautiful spot. Lovely views over the valley and vineyard. Delicious food. There are wines, cards and pottery for sale too. The Garden centre has a great variety of carefully selected plants which are all really healthy. There is a pottery shed and wood shack too.

Once again, another lunch at Melias place exceeded our expectations, service is great, food freshly made and served by a really friendly staff and owner. Highly recommended

As someone who live to the rear of this bar I and many others have complained about the excessive noise, anti social behaviour, drunks flowing into the rear car park as if it part of the bar's property . They also use the car to park their vehicles as if their own yard without paying for a ticket. The children's slide and climbing area (if approved) is monitored from a distance! With all the anti social behaviour around this area the owners do nothing to help improve it; especially the noise polution this bar and it's clientele create! The "new. Management " promotion is a joke! Just the same anti social crowd! No respect for any neighbour even after the recent "noise complaint" raised with the council! Close the place as it should not have rear access / facilities within a residential area! Gives Ventnor a bad image!

Used to use this cafe often, it was always amazing. Unfortunately haven’t been for a while, but went there at weekend and it was awful. You couldn’t cut the sausages, the eggs were snotty and plate was full of oil. So sad to see a much loved cafe go downhill

Treat their young staff poorly. Cancel staff shifts with half an hour's notice when they know young people need the work. All due to poor management planning. It's a shame they treat people like this.

Great place to sit, if only one could. Takeaway only STILL after the pandemic. Time now to open properly.
