Mister teas cafe in Milton Keynes

Oh dear!! Really gone downhill since my last visit. I was the only customer on a weekday at 1.30 and should have realised why. Burger tasted like wet rubber and the chips had been previously cooked and re-heated. Paid list price and left half of it - Won't go back.

Me and my mum regularly come here for breakfast about twice a week maybe 3 depending on my work this is a fantastic place to go all the staff are lovely and the food is fantastic I definitely say give it a go

Went here for lunch today the women taken the orders today had no manners what so ever spoke to us like she really didn't want to be there she was rude as far as we were concerned foid was tasty as always but service with a smile pleas and thank you in my book go a long way disappointed

Good honest food with lovely / friendly staff who are eager to please. We were a large group and all the food came out fresh and hot and any modifications and requests were accommodated with a smile. This was our second visit and will be back again soon when we are in the area!

I’ve eaten here 3 times so far and have not been disappointed. Yesterdays food was a massive breakfast served in takeaway trays so we could eat at work. Food was cooked well and not greasy. Good presentation and very filling. Well done. I’ll be back !

This is a pleasant, clean cafe with an extensive breakfast menu. Staff were friendly and the service was quick. The food was hot and tasty. My eggs weren’t as runny as I would have liked, but I would request this in future. It’s a little pricey for a cafe, but the quality and service are very good.

Just found this hidden gem, and I don’t think I will ever eat a full English anywhere else, the food was amazing and really well priced and amazing value for money for what you got. I went with the full English and the portions where generous the sausages are thoroughly delicious no cheap bangers here full of flavour. I’m amazing that I’m actually sat writing a my first review on trip advisor for this cafe but it has defiantly deserved it. And the tea … do not get me started on the tea, being a Yorkshire man it’s hard to find a decent cuppa but again I was not disappointed The lady’s where warm an welcoming. Thanks lady’s I’ll be back again! Regularly!!!

Please avoid this place. Went last week as we were working in the area, waited at least 45 minutes for our breakfasts to come out! Don't even get that long for a lunch break. Paid for it but had to walk out and leave my breakfast and went back to work. Tried again today as again working in the area, hoping that was a one off last week. Waited 25 minutes our breakfasts come out and was given to the wrong table, they had started to tuck into the breakfasts then the waitress realised and took the breakfasts from the other table to bring to us. I was totally mortified. I explained there was no way I was going to eat my breakfast now someone else has tucked into it!! I requested a refund and was told no. After being rather insistent about wanting a refund, the guy refunded today's breakfasts. He was saying he wouldn't refund last week's breakfasts but I didn't want last weeks refunded. Never again will I return here the customer service and waiting times are appalling.

Slow service. Over priced. Living off past reputation. Used to be really good, but has gone down hill badly.

Had a lovely breakfast today at this cafe with my son. We both had the large plate and enjoyed the food which was piping hot and presented well. I have been here 3 times during March and today was definitely the best in my opinion as the sausages are a better quality than before and have more taste keep up the good work guys always friendly and clean see you soon.

Staff were friendly and service was quick.. However the food quality was extremely poor. No exaggeration, literally the worst English breakfast I have ever tasted, probably the worst meal full stop. The eggs were slimy where they were not cooked properly, the bacon tasted horrific, the sausage was one of those cheap kinds you buy in a discount store and the tomatoes - oh the tomatoes - imagine mushy peas but made with tomatoes instead, that was the consistency, like they had been boiled dry. All washed down with a cup of tea that can only be described as also horrific. i would have preferred to eat a bush tucker trial to be honest. I always wash my hands when I get home, but today I felt like washing my mouth too. Never again.

Came here today after a friend recommended this cafe. We had our coffees straight away and when our food arrived it was nice and hot. Nice straight forward cafe. Nice and clean also, will come again.

We often visit this cafe and normally the food is lovely. However. After our experience today I don’t think we will be returning. The food was definitely not up to scratch. The chips were re cooked and nothing was fresh. Very disappointed.

Nice, reasonable café. All day breakfast, dinners etc , closes at 14.00 The women serving are helpful, pleasant and efficient. Clean and hygienic surroundings. I will be back.

A hidden gem. The breakfast was lovely, not too greasy and all cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back again.

I would like to share my sister and her two children's awful experience at Mister T's Cafe at lunchtime on Monday 2nd August 2021. Her past three experiences pre-pandemic were pretty good, but her experience today left her in tears. She brought her two children from Bletchley bus station to Mister T’s to have some lunch, as she had a good impression previously of the staff and the quality of the food on offer. She entered the establishment with a pushchair with her toddler daughter and her toddler son and requested a highchair to put her daughter in. As toddler’s sometimes do, they act irrationally, and her son also wanted a highchair and started to scream. She also wanted somewhere to position the pushchair out of the way. In both cases my sister was met with an abrupt, aggressive attitude from a man, she believed to be the owner. Absolutely unhelpful!! As her son was not calming down, you could see this man, we believe to be the owner just wanted her out of the premises. Totally unwelcoming!!!. In fact, the man we believe to be the owner was supportive of one man, who my sister stated stank of booze and was sitting with a cup of coffee and a Daily Star by himself. In fact, this was the only person in the premises at the time and at lunch. This same man made some comment to state he could not stand this, ie. My sister’s toddler son screaming and wanted to leave. I can understand this but be a bit more understanding. This put my sister under pressure, and she felt under duress to leave herself and the man we believe to be the owner did not protest. In fact, the impression she got was he wanted her to leave, so she did. Well it is their loss!! My sister was going to spend quite a bit of money here including breakfast for her and the kids plus drinks, but if Mister T’s can survive on cups of coffee and someone spending several hours there purchasing nothing else, then so be it. To conclude Mister T’s is totally unwelcoming to mothers and children and would rather support drunks. Avoid this place like the plague!!! They had a lovely lunch and were very warmly welcomed in Bletchley High Street at the Meditteraneo. They will be going back there, but avoiding Mister T’s at all costs. If I could give a zero rating, I would.

Great breakfast today! Lovely warm welcome by the lady serving. We had poached eggs on toast, x2 bacon, fried egg, beans, chips and sausage. Served with really lovely tea and decaf coffee. First time trying and it was so nice to have a proper breakfast at a proper cafe. Will be back!

Staff are always really friendly and welcoming. Food is always on point. This place is only round the corner so it's convenient too!

Never seen many cafes with this rating , this place is spotless and the food delicious.. Found this place after our hotel wasnt doing food due to covid soamsged to find this place on the off chance... What a gem.. Delicious food lots of choice and extremely clean..

Great breakfast lovely staff and great combinations of different options. However tea is not the best and it’s very expensive, but would definitely use again!!

Visited on way to visit family. Found the front of house staff somewhat abrupt. The breakfast came with mushy chopped tomatoes - yuck. The tea was off a bland taste. Handwashing facilities not great.

Really great. Good food. Good coffee. Lovely veggie sausages. Friendly, efficient staff. Good prices. And top marks for cleanliness. Oh my it’s clean!!!

Every Monday me and my kids , sister and bestie meet for breakfast thought we would try here . Food nice but the customer service was so shocking I would never step foot in here again

Went in with my husband and it didn’t disappoint. Was very clean, food was top notch and the staff was very friendly and polite. Even had a chat about our gel nails while being served I would highly recommend this cafe for its cleanliness, food and excellent service. I will definitely be back. X

Breakfast is done beautifully here. Hot food, hot plates, fast service, quality ingredients, nice people. Best place for breakfast bar-none.. Thoroughly recommended, never had a bad experience ever in over 15 years.

5 star hygiene which is always good and very nice friendly staff. Order placed and from sitting down to it being on the table was around 5 mins. Big portions and very tasty. They will cook the food to how you ask. If you prefer your egg more hard then just ask. Can’t really fault the place. Car park across the road free for two hours.

Freshly cooked, excellent thick rashers of bacon. perfect eggs and piping hot tea. My guide for a good breakfast is the quality of their fried bread and it was fab. Great value, very clean and tidy establishment with free parking at the rear.

Somewhere that does a good cooked breakfast appears to be hard to find, so this place gets top marks. Always busy but seem to find a table

Went in for some late lunch. Close to closing time. Was quiet. Served quickly with friendly staff. Food was great. Large portions.

Apparently a Fenny institution, I have only discovered this gem of a place. The menu is quite extensive and the portions are huge. The cooking is very, very good..from Bellybuster breakfast to poached eggs on toast.. no greasy spoon here. Waiting for an opportunity to come and sample their traditional lunch dinners. The place gets very busy with local regulars and tradesmen....which makes for a buzzy atmosphere and vouches for its value for money. The staff are great....friendly and effective.

A small cafe across the road from the Abbey Guest House offering an array of good English breakfast options as well as meals at other times of the day.

I simply had a cheese omelette and tea, but it was deicious. I went there because they had the reputation of serving the best breakfast in the area, and it was true. And the great treatment you get from the staff as well makes it all even better!

My son visited Mr Teas today with friends, as happens quite often, as he left home I said "please ask if they do a takeaway", and sure enough they did. I had mine when he came back and it was as delicious and gorgeous as a meal in there.Mr Teas make the ultimate best brilliant home-made British breakfast. Never bettered in MK at least ~~~~~~~ I promise.

Me and my boss came here for lunch. It is well looked after and everything is home made, which you can really tell by the food. Had a full English breakfast which was amazing, and the staff were very welcoming. Reccomend to anyone looking for a good full English breakfast stop

Love going out for breakfast and this offers classic at its best. No frills, lovely smiley service from the lady at the counter, reasonably priced, nice surroundings and awesome food. Tasty and lovingly made. So glad to have this as a local.

Good breakfast food, cooked fresh, served quickly, piping hot. I would like thicker bread slices to be used but no complaints overall. Great range of meals to select from or make your own up if you prefer. They are happy to substitute one item for another - say tomatoes in place of beans, sausage instead of bacon etc etc

After a 20-minute yomp through the snow from Franchise F.C.'s ground I was happy to see this place was open! I had an acceptable roast pork lunch and a mug of tea for £8.20 which set me up for the rest of the day. Even better - Bristol Rovers won 1-0!

Long established cafe with excellent reputation for breakfast or brunch. Freshly cooked meals, plenty of choice and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this place.

This place does the best breakfast around. No nonsense good honest grub. Coffee in a mug. No frills just great food.

Found this place by accident and what a find. It’s a good old fashioned cafe. Proper good grub, tea in a mug and no nonsense. Perfect.

My wife and i really wanted a good old full English fry up and man alive did we have one,on entering the place was quite busy so we expected a bit of a wait,my wife ordered the big breakfast and i opted for the "Belly Buster",we sat down and within 10 mins our food arrived and was hot,freshly cooked and well presented and served with a smile,all the staff were friendly and welcoming and the cafe was very clean and tidy and obviously very popular as it was busy, we can honestly say this was the best fry up we had ever eaten we will defiantly be returning

This place does a great English Breakfast. The service is fast. Tables are small but it is good value for money.

Mister teas is situated on Victoria road just outside of the main bletchley center. In a day and age where the "greasy spoon" seems to be disappearing this place is a real gem in the Bletchley area.You can get a full fry up here for a reasonable price but on this visit I had a bacon and fried egg baguette. Mister teas can get very busy so be prepared to wait but the food and service is always great, the meat is very tasty although the bacon can be a bit fatty.There's a full lunch menu too with omelettes burgers etc. The indoor and outdoor seating is pretty handy too especially with the very nice weather we've had recently.If you are around the fenny/ bletchley area and fancy a nice breakfast or brunch you cannot go wrong here.

Hubby works near here and sometimes he and his colleagues have a working lunch at Mr Teas. We visited for Saturday lunch/brunch. The place was very busy but luckily there was a free table. Hubby had cheese omelette, chips and beans. I tried the curry and rice, which was surprisingly good - full of big pieces of chicken and potatoes. Normally I would go for a medium breakfast. Everything is freshly cooked to order.

Can't beat the bacon and egg baguette. Always busy but the staff are always friendly and the menu is such that there is something for everyone whether it's lunch or breakfast.... You'd have to look pretty hard to find a better greasy spoon in MK

Easily the best place is Milton Keynes to order breakfast and lunch from. Staff are incredibly friendly and are real people. Quality is top notch and pricing is very reasonable. I go there nigh on every day for lunch.

Mr Ts is a regular cafe for us, I love his bubble and sqeak 💖 The service has always been great along with the food, it has to be the best cafe within Bletchley! I would recommend MrTs to anyone, friends and family

Needed quick easy food after staying at a nearby hotel and needing to get going with our day that's exactly what we got. My cuppa was lovely my daughters breakfast was lovely too although from my point of view I just don't get chips with breakfast idea

Been using this cafe for quite a while for a Saturday breakfast. The staff are very friendly, the food is good. It is very good value for money for a freashly cooked breakfast which comes with mug of tea and 2 rounds of bread. They also do meals at lunch time, but have never tried one yet. Overall I would recommend the cafe to all, But it can ger very busy mid Sat morning.

Went to grab a late breakfast with some friends and had a tasty plate of food with good service. The decor is dated but this adds to the experience - it's like going to the losing cafe from the apprentice but with a good cook and a nice plate of food. Will definitely be going back and recommending, thanks Mister Teas.

A typical workman's cafe, but good value it has to be said. Serves a good cuppa and a good bacon sandwich. For a quick and cheap snack you cant go wrong here.

A really nice breakfast overall although a tad on the expensive side for a breakfast cafe. The bacon was plentiful and the egg well cooked. Fried bread was perfect! The letdown was the sausage....these must be the worst possible economy sausages out there and I didn't like it. The cup of tea I had was excellent and all of the staff were friendly. This place runs very well, like an oiled machine to steal another reviewers words! Would I come back again? Not as my first choice as I can get my breakfast cheaper and some elements better elsewhere however if I was passing...definitely.

We were staying locally in MK and the adjacent pub/ breakfast establishment had awful reviews so looked on TP and found Mr Teas. We were not disappointed very clean , all the staff were very efficient and well presented , food very good, my wife had the special English and I had three poached eggs on toast both washed down with a nice cuppa. Good mix of clientele when we visited so surprised one reviewer called Mr Teas as a 'glorified workman's cafe' certainly wouldn't class it as that at all. Would certainly recommend to the locals and we will use again when back in the area

Cant go wrong with this place quality products cooked fresh and fast i do like the fact that you can alter your order on a breakfast if your a little fussy all in all a filling breakfast nice work Mister T's

Traditional cafe, traditional food, but pretty high prices. The food is pretty good, the portions adequate, the staff highly efficient, the place seems to run like a well-oiled machine. There's nothing to criticise save for the prices, which are still above traditional cafe, and the compete absence of the surprisingly massive portions, great value and delicious greasy food found in the real thing (which this isn't).In my view it caters for the new breed of English semi-skilled self-employed blue-collar workers - the self-over-valued and lazy plumbers, electricians, shoe-repairers and builders who have contributed to living in England being too costly for much more skilled but less highly paid workers.

This is an old fashioned cafe which gives great value for money. You can order what you like although there is a menu set, there was not a problem to swap bits about. (im a fussy one)Everything is cooked fresh and you get a good ol fashioned cup of tea

.........in the whole of Milton Keynes, if not England.A family run cafe with excellent cooking for the best English breakfast. Includes Black Pudding by the way. And Hashes Browns.They introduced more choice a couple of years ago, such as a chicken roast, gammon, omelettes, similar - almost as good but smaller portions, but still cooked very very well. LIKE HOME :-).You will never regret and that's my promise.
