As always good, food and coffee is excellent. When i was going to London every day, they wore the place to go for me, always fresh and never disappoint me with coffee.

1 . Ordered a tea . They put the milk in before the tea bag - never even asked if I wanted milk.how is it supposed to infuse properly . 2 Ordered a classic cheese Toastie . - apparently these include a good portion of Mustard ! 3 I know it’s for VAT reasons but asked if eating in - Still got paper cups. 4. 2 hot drink & 2 toasties over £ 17.00 5. toilets not clean ☹️.. Going to Greggs now as their Cakes are a third of the price . Yours ….Big fat lad from Manchester

They are very aggressive and rued, I payed for coffee but did not have my drinks, the manager Kathy is very very rued

Be carefull when ordering if Uber eats paid for my food had it delivered to find it’s not what I ordered and insted a plain butter crossianr was put in insted of almond - no phone call to check if I wanted this cost me £14 including delivery and nothing ordered

We like the Pret brand and apart from a recent visit to a branch in London near Jermyn Street we generally find them very good. We were shopping in Milton Keynes and decided to have a quick snack whilst we were there. I had a smoked salmon and cheese sandwich and my wife had a chicken Caesar baguette. Both were very good and fresh. The bottles of apple juice are very good, too. Friendly and helpful staff.

I love Pret, I had a club sandwich and a mocha. Staff member who served us was friendly. The tables were all spotless and the hostess was really helpful and efficient and I wanted to write the review to thank her as whenever I go to Costa the tables are filthy and full of cups and food so it was so nice to have a clean booth to sit at!

Maria (supervisor or manager) is amazing. She is always so welcoming and I always come to this Pret over others because of the service. Everyone seems to be happy in this team but Maria is especially great. Having worked in hospitality management myself, I cannot praise her level of service enough.

Myself and my partner decided to go into Pret A Manger whilst shopping as our 6 month old needed his bottle. I selected a latte and crossaint for my partner and a tea for myself. Whilst being served I asked for a jug of hot water to heat my babies bottle of milk, to which I was told they don’t have anything big enough. Baffled I said ‘surely you do?’ To which a manager appeared and said it’s not possible to give me hot water due to health and safety. Now sorry but this is ridiculous just about every cafe/coffee shop/pub you go into will give you hot water to heat a babies bottle up. The manager’s attitude was downright rude and certainly not friendly. By this point I had already paid and had been given all of my order. The main reason we went in was to heat the bottle, so I told the manager keep the drinks I don’t want them and I want a refund, to which she did. Then we left and I was sure to make sure everybody else heard what had happened to which an elderly lady replied ‘how ridiculous, everywhere gives you hot water for a babies bottle’. Need I say more. We left and went to Costa and guess what, they were more than happy to provide us with hot water. As was Greggs later on in the day. I find it ridiculous that a company will not accommodate a family with a baby who are willing to spend money in their store. We will never use the company again after this so congrats you’ve lost 2 and hopefully many more customers for your pettiness and rude manager. I didn’t get a name but she had a European accent, probably between 40-50. Maybe you’ll consider the way you speak to customers after this glowing review

We actually wanted to try the Baguette stall in the shopping centre that we just couldn't find but was happy to come here instead and was quite impressed. It was quite busy but we didn't wait long to be served. It was slightly confusing because there's a sign saying queue either side but at the counter it says one side for are payment only only I don't think that was the case and you could pay any method either side. My Wife and I had rhubarb lemonade apple fizz cheese baguette chicken Caesar baguette popcorn bar and gingerbread person. All very nice thanks!

Went for lunch. Very crowded . Took long time to server but sandwich and coffees are excellent. Enjoyed .

Went in for lunch came out empty handed - why? All 3 coffee machines were being maintained. Why weren't they done one at a time? 'Wish I knew' was the response from the frustrated barista! How any organisation can shut 3 machines simultaneously and deny customers the very product which they come in for smacks of total incompetence. Ended up in Starbucks, pretty good coffee, food range not the same though.

I was here Just to grab my coffee on my way to work. Manager was rude to her team. I leave without coffee and go to Costa instead. Will never come back here. I don't like to see something like that where people are just treated very badly..

Queued outside as only a few allowed in at a time which is fine. Baguette and coffee were both good as they usually are and staff were on hand to sanitise the table before we sat down and as we left. First time we have been in here since COVID and were very surprised that NO contact details were taken. I did find a QR code on the way out and dutifully used the app to scan it but I only came across this by chance. In a place with such a steady turnover of diners it might be better to have the QR code on every table as happens in many other places.

I liked Pret. But now during the Covid. Feel like your a child in a queue. I was front of queue. No body around the crisps.I wanted a packet to then join the queue. No one beside me at all. Told to get into the queue. I know we have difficulty with some customers.But everything was safe.Then I watched after eating about 12 people hanging around the area. Seems to be hit and miss. In helping people in the shop. I do not appreciate being talked to like that.Also I was wearing my mask. I abide by all rules, but this employee was putting down ground rules, No idea what they are doing. Put me off going back again now. Was not a nice cup of coffee after that!.

Firstly, let me say Pret do excellent coffee! However they need to improve hygiene. 2 staff serving behind the counter had their masks pulled down. The server gave us stirrers with his bare hands. No sign of tables being cleaned between customers.

This is a well situated coffee shop and hence it is very busy. If you're lucky enough to get a seat and enjoy a great coffee then this place is certainly worth a visit. The staff even though very busy managed very well and remained welcoming and polite.

Customer service was outstanding I would like to thank this young man known as jayme paul for excellent delivery of service.

Food is good, however I was unfortunafely served with an unfriendly staff yesterday evening in the centre MK branch. He looked like he was rushing, even took the order of the person behind me even if i wasnt finished paying using my card yet. My food was even just placed on top of the bag, not inside it. To the man with bold head who wore blue shirt who served me yesterday evening please learn some customer service from your colleagues.The other staff were completely opposite to you, they were friendly, saying thank you's.

Disappointed today. Chicken and bacon baguette was just ok, lacking a bit in quantity of filling, but acceptable. However the flat white coffee was served in the smallest mug I’ve ever seen, and for £2.60 was very poor value. Will consider other options on our next visit.

Food is ok and staff are friendly but this really is a busy place. My main objection is those people who hog seats before they have ordered their food. This means that those of us oldies who purchase their food before looking for seating always lose out! We paid to eat in yet ended up eating out because all seats were taken with some tables still waiting for food. This puts us off returning for sure.,

Extremely busy during lunch period but the food is constantly replenished and the huge queues that develop are quick to be reduced as additional staff are deployed.The quality of food is the same high standard as in most Prets but the management in this restaurant does tend to elevate it above most of the others.Certainly one of my regular locations when in Milton Keynes.

Went for a quick coffee and snack. Good coffe, great hot chocolate. Excellent chocolate and almond cookies. It is what it is,

Visited today for a coffee (served in a good sized mug), an egg mayo sarnie and a banana. Friendly service, Around £4.50 I thought was good value, and it was very pleasant sitting outside watching the world go by. Plenty of seats available at 1pm on a Tuesday. Nice Pret.

I’m a Pret regular, so disappointed to arrive a full hour before closing to find nothing vegan left. Asked the manager but no suggestion of making me something, which is puzzling as I thought they made everything on site so presumably they have the necessary stuff.

My friend and I went for lunch here on Wednesday. The wait staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. Recommend this establishment for a relaxed and leisurely lunch.

How nice to vist somewhere to eat where the staff are pleasant! That's what I can say, without prejudice, when I came into this particular branch of Pret A Manger on a rather dismal and wet Wednesday morning. I was served by a young lady on the counter when I came in to order who gave me a pleasant smile and seemed to know exactly what she was doing. I have to report this, because in some eating establishments I've recently visited the staff don't seem in the least bit interested in what they are doing and the service can be described at best as sloppy. But not here. I ordered a really nice caramel frappe and had with it a cheese salad baguette and a slice of very delicious carrot cake. There is a very good selection of things to eat and also you don't have to wait excessively at the counter because there is more than one till, unlike other places where you can wait quite a long time to be served, which must be frustrating if you have a short time in which to eat your lunch. Plenty of space to sit down and eat your food and drink your coffee or cold drink and no annoying music in the background which can make conversation virtully impossible. As a result of ll this, I quite intend returning when i am in need of a place to eat and sit down when I come into the shopping centre.

I moved close to city centre and for coming into work I always have to have a good breakfast.I was passing by one morning and I just entered Pret. I was served by this amazing lady by the name Rebecca, she's lovely, helpful and her service to me was a top notch. Thanks Rebecca and Charlotte for this lovely service again this morning. I really appreciate it. I will always be back because of your service.

I use Prets frequently on my travels and always find the food consistently good but the staff can vary considerably.

Come for a coffee ( Soya caramel latte) everyday before work, the warm welcome I received every time sets me up for me day. Starting to find myself popping in on my days off too, just because the ladies behind the till make you feel so welcome. Can’t wait to purchase one of your cups, even more excuses to come back. thank you

Stopped for a sandwich at lunch time. Being cold weather the inside was rammed with patrons so we went outside. The heated parasols were switched off but worse most tables were littered with the remains of lunch and packaging. The tables that were cleared remained unwiped and were disgusting. The floor was in a filthy state. If this is the state of the front of house then what goes on behind the scenes. This place is a potential health hazzard and I judge this from 50 years spent in the NHS as a pathologist! With two sandwiches and a coke costing £10 you think there is enough margin to clean the disgusting restaurant.

We come to this establishment on a regular basis, either for a morning coffee and pastry or for a light lunch when we are in the area:

Consistently good food and smiley service. Can get very busy on the weekend but the staff are constantly cleaning. A good choice for a lunch between shops.

Called in on Friday 17th for a takeaway coffee and lunch. Counter service was badly organised with all staff concentrated on one side except for one man who said he couldn't serve me at his till, although 2 minutes later he was serving someone else. The worst though was when the lady who started to serve me then stopped mid order to help out another customer. When she returned to me, with an apology that sounded anything but sorry, I left. Cannot understand the attitude that it's okay to leave the customer in front of you mid sentence

Another visit to Pret when we had to visit Midsummer Place and this was an ideal place for a break. It wasn't too busy, fortunately and we didn't have to queue. It's about the only place I can think of that has the sense to have more than one till so there's no excuse in having to queue as you would at, say, Costas, which is nearby. This is a well-stocked branch with a good range of drinks and eats. The sandwiches look tempting but this time we had lattes and croissants which were tasty. The staff are friendly and give you plenty of focus when taking your order and then we could find a table to sit and relax, clean and cleared regularly. Also, the toilets are clean and pleasant and well maintained, another factor which can put you off an establishment. Full marks to all concerned.

Boring now but if you just want a decent sandwich lunch at a reasonable price then Prets the place! consistent quality, quality produce, lovely grub!

Most Prets are up to a high standard but often fall down in some way.

On 16th June my mum, dad and I were on a day out to Milton Keynes as we had tickets for Matilda in the evening. When we visited Debenhams my dad was attacked by a shop lifter and was badly injured on his leg. The team at Pret gave my dad some amazing first aid treatment as well as calling an ambulance. Katya the manager was absolutely incredible and stayed with us the whole 3 hours whilst my dad was treated. She was so friendly and kept us well supplied with tea and cake. I cannot recommend this cafe enough and am absolutely thrilled at the customer service we received (can’t say the same for Debenhams). Nothing was to much of a problem for Katya and she did everything she could to help.

Lots of choice, fresh food to suit all tastes. Reasonably priced and in a location that is perfect when you have been shopping all day!

We had salmon sandwich and meatballs. The sandwiches were really fresh. Seating a little difficult to get when busy but don't forget there is a seating area outside. toilet was not functioning the day we visited but overall the place was clean.

I had arrived at pret before the shops opened due to a 5 hour journey down from the Scottish Borders as partner on a course. The friendly man serving took my order of a peppermint tea and asked how I was this morning. Explained I’d just travelled down and he handed me my money back and told me it was on the house. How kind and considerate! This never happens anywhere and what a good feeling it is. He has actually made my morning. a little gesture but meant a lot. I wish there were more kind people like this out there. Thank you pret.

Always very busy but the foods nice and fresh and healthy(ish).. You can get a better coffee elsewhere but overall not too bad..

Its ion the centre of MK shopping centre and has always been the usual POret standard however one person now on the staff needs customer service training , real attitude real shame as Pret is constantly good fast food . Please sort this issue out !

We'd been to a hospital appointment earlier and came into Midsummer Place and in particular, Pret A Manger. We ordered lattes, mine with caramel and my wife's with vanilla as well as croissants, one chocolate and one with almond. Very good, hot and good quality. A very friendly staff-member served us, good presentation and efficient service. Plenty of space to sit (well, it was early on a Monday morning, so I suppose there was no excuse.) Tables clean and free of dirty cups and plates. A light and airy environment with little or no awful loud background music. There's nothing worse than having to endure the excessively loud 'musak' which prohibits decent conversation. This the ideal spot to relax during a busy shopping excursion. Plenty of food choices and good coffee. We will return again at some later date.

Always though Pret had the upper hand when it came to its food and drink. Sadly not the case anymore. On the past couple of visits we have had to return either one or both of our food options due to the baguettes being hard and stale. This has been in the morning on both occasions so can only think they are from the previous day and not fresh that day as they advertise. Drinks again poor, Luke warm weak coffee, mocha that has very little taste other than very weak milky coffee, not hit of the sumptuous chocolate you used to get.

The food in Pret is nice quality, relatively healty, and there is a generally an imaginative selection. However:

This place is always busy. The pastries, cookies etc are always nice. My son doesn't like sandwiches so choices for him are limited, a nice plain pasta would be nice for children. They need more seating. Soups are very nice.

As usual a good visit. Staff are helpful , but aware of time . Coffee lovely and toasties just what we needed. A really lovely seafood and avocado salad - thankyou

Whenever we shop in Milton Keynes we usually stop off at one of the Pret a Mangers. Great tasting, clean food. I always go for one of the veggie wraps and coffee. Never had and bad experience, so we'll be back.

It took us a long time to get to the front of the queue to pay and once we had paid the additional cost for "eat-in" we found there were no seats available. By the time seats became available our food was cold. I wish we had checked there was sufficient seating before we paid for the "eat in" price.

My favourite takeaway for lunch. This one’s a bit crowded though and cold under the canary in winter. Still though, it’s fresh, healthy and natural so how could I ever complain? Yum yum!

Quick pre-shopping pit stop here on a cold November Saturday. The sandwiches, avocado and crayfish, were excellent. As were the coffees. Only downside is that all the inside tables were taken so we had to sit outside, which even under their vast canopy was a tad cold. Suggestion would be for them to install a few outside heaters under the canopy for these colder days.....

Bought their xmas lunch sandwich and I must say that it was absolutely delicious and is highly recommended . The price was reasonable. Service very good.

Bought a delicious vegan wrap that contained avocado, lettuce, chipotle chickpeas, charred corn & black bean dressing. Glad Pret are catering more for Vegas now!

I'm not a huge shopping fan so once all done, Pret summoned and served one of the best coffees I've tasted. Full flavour, complimented perfectly with a slice of Bakewell Tart. The best way to end open wallet surgery!!!

Hunger struck while shopping in Milton Keynes, and we wanted something a bit healthier than some of the other offerings in Midsummer place. My crayfish and avocado sandwich was very tasty and filling. It was lunchtime, and tables were being turned around very efficiently, so there were clean tables available. It almost felt like being in a pavement cafe (but more sheltered from the weather ....) Their coffee is (as always) very good and the staff were pleasant and efficient. I noted there were salads available as well. It might have been helpful to be able to see the calorie values of meals.

Some places do coffee and food well, but they don't do them as well as Pret-A-Manger. An extremely good range of sandwiches, rolls, cookies and cakes as well as lattes, cappuccinos as well as cold drinks. I had a caramel latte and my wife had a vanilla latte.

Almost as good as a pavement café, relaxing over a delicious coffee dispensed by agreeable and pleasant staff, sitting "outside" and watching others trawling the shops and toting their purchases.

I love their boxed salads, crayfish is one of my favourites. These are perfect when you're on the go but want something nice & healthy.

We are regulars at having/sharing a duck wrap. Always fresh and filling. First time trying the Victoria sponge. They look very small. Don't be fooled as they are very filling. Loads of cream, jam and as expected very sugary sweet. We would just share one next time!

Lots of options and plenty of seating, staff seemed friendly but extremely busy the food was tasty and we enjoyed our visit will go again prices are slightly high but depends what you like and eat.

Often go here before work in the city centre. Food is always great and fresh unlike the processed taste of mcdonalds. Coffee is great aswell and prices are better than Costa or Starbucks!

I find the staff don't listen to the correct drinks order each time we've been in this pret and get it wrong. So busy in there and staff getting in way at key times can't see the choices. Need to plan busy service better.

This was my first visit to Pret and don't think I will be ever back. It wasn't very busy but had to wait for a coffee over 10 minutes and then got the wrong order. Lady behind me was totally forgotten. Coffee was average, same the cake.

Service was quick, coffee good, and there was a good range of snacks available. Nice seating outside , though still within the shopping mall (good for people watching).

Brilliant macchiatos compare to the other coffe shops in the Cmk my favourite one, service is very quick and efficient

Standard chain offering but more seats inside and outside (still in centre - indoors) . Inside seating is better than most Prets and a good place for a coffee and a catch up . at busy times MK shopping centre is manic and therefore it will be fairly full .

It is always busy and t me that says good food. A bit canteeny but always a pleasure to stop there and it doesn't matter the location it is consistently good wherever. you can have confidence you haven't wasted your money.

All the stores are great for a quick pit stop, but some are better than others. It a shame to find nothing left on shelves after lunch time? Perhaps they could be restocked a bit better?

My first trip to Pret on Sunday, it was spacious, elegant, welcoming and the staff and the coffee were fab, definitely recommend. 😊

If u would like to enjoy food or drinks certainly Pret A Manger is the place which can offer this ..i always enjoy the delicious sandwiches it sells .especially lebanese flafel service is quick MY favourite place to enjoy food especially breakfast .

What can Pret do wrong with their food offering - not a lot to be honest. The Quality is good, variety excellent, taste first class but then it isn't really a low price venue so you do get what you pay for IMHO.

I have always looked forward to a Pret sandwich. Always yummy. My Fiancee and I had a 'Philly cheese and Steak' toasted sandwich yesterday at Pret in Milton Keynes. It was awesome! Nice coffee too and brilliant staff!! Well done Pret A Manger !!

Excellent place for a stop to refuel when shopping in CMK. A range of snack food. Quality good and value for money. Hot and cold drinks.

I always feel the service in Pret is prompt, but was compelled to review this one purely based on the friendly, helpful staff on my most recent visit.

Very busy so we had to sit outside, not that bad you think. Then you realise every chair and table is covered in bird mess and there have been no attempts to clean it off. Absolutely disgusting health inspection needed.

Good quick service restaurant chain across London Good spread, very tasty, lovely ambiance. Clean neat and well maintained Prompt queue handling even at such hours

This is the only Pret I have used where I feel the service is slow ( I regularly use three others in central London). A slow-moving queue most visits. The food display cabinets seem both smaller and not anywhere near as well-stocked as the Prets in Victoria St SW1 or outside Euston station most times I visit. Average experience.

It was Boxing Day and we were doing the rounds of the shops early on. Obviously hungry for some grub we could only think of the toasties and wraps of Pret. The cheese ham toasties was great with the mustard sauce inside. My friends had veggie wraps which were great. The coffee was fabulous. And with renewed energy, we hit the shops again.

I eat here most weeks at least once. Always good choice of fresh food and plenty of people serving. Never have to wait to be served. Which is important at lunchtime. Always get a seat too.

Great place to stop for a sandwich and a coffee. The thing about any Pret is that you know the standard will be high and the quality will be good.

Staff always friendly, coffee nice, love the Mac cheese with ham (only appears after 11.30). Visit regularly and will continue to do so.

I visited this place twice during my recent visit to the UK. On the first occasion, I just wanted to have a quick bite after a long walk and chose the chocolate croissant and a hot chocolate. I loved the croissant so much that I paid a visit just before leaving and grabbed another one. This time I went for a Machiatto in place of the Hot Chocolate, which turned out to be a bad choice. I have definitely had better Machiatto. On the whole, its a good place with enough choice for a quick bite. I found the staff to be helpful as well.

I use my local to work pret every day in Aldgate and it's great. I was off today so popped to Milton Keynes Pret for my usual pretzel and coffee. I like a sesame pretzel but so does everyone else and there were only poppy seed ones left. My Pret in Aldgate would happily put one in the oven for me. I asked if this was possible and got a blank stare and was told that they only had what was out. I asked if perhaps they could look to see if there were any more. I got a blunt reply that they had all sold out. Now call me a cynic but I think she just didn't want to look. Anyway apart from that the coffee was fine. I am fully aware that this is a first world problem! But hey it annoyed me ( not enough to kick up a fuss but enough to walk away quietly and type this!)

We have been many times to Pret a Manger at Midsummer Place, and went again today. We love the fact that everything is freshly made and there are some healthy options too, although most things have zillions of calories. We are particularly disappointed that the New York Bloomer which then morphed into the New Yorker has been taken completely off the menu. It was my husband's favourite. The restaurant is always clean and tidy and seldom things left on tables. It's another one of those cafes where the customer does all the work. You choose your food, put it in a basket, take it to the till where they ring it through and pop it on a tray. You then step to one side whilst the teller serves another customer and someone else makes your hot drinks. You then take your items to a table, and when you're finished you put your own stuff in the bin. Certainly not somewhere you would go if you want personal service.

I visit nearly every day before work and the staff are attentive friendly helpful engaging and a pleasure to interact with. Pret may not be the cheapest coffee/sandwich shop but the excellent staff go a long way to make it worth the extra little bit.

On a day trip to Milton Keynes we used both outlets. One is in the new er additional part of the shopping area. The other by Middleton Hall. We had good service and found fully stocked shelves of quality value foods at both.

Just enjoyed all their tasty seafood sandwiches which are freshly prepared and their drinks .Highly recomending
