Lovely family Sunday lunch with amazing views over the harbour upstairs at the Mariner. Food was absolutely delicious. Our first time here but will not be the last!

Wonderful food was spoilt by the rudeness of the serving staff. We booked a table for Sunday lunch, on arrival we got informed that 2 hours time the table was re-booked, Was that ok? A 3 course meal with friends might as well have gone to a fast food restaurant...... We did not get a choice to enjoy a coffee at the end just informed that the next client was waiting. the staff need to learn better communication skills and to look at the customer and where they are placing items, If you are busy and taking multiple bookings for the same table I as the paying customer would like to be given the option to go elsewhere, Not asked if its ok when the restaurant staff have already made the decision and then be rushed out of the door. I will not be coming back But I doubt your staff will care.......

I have just had a meal at the Pig and Whistle and it was delicious. I had chicken schnitzel with chips and salad. The portions are so generous that it’s a struggle to finish it all. There was a children’s birthday party going on which meant it was a little noisy but the owners were making sure that they were all enjoying themselves so it didn’t bother me at all. In fact it added to the nice friendly atmosphere. I asked for a dessert but was told they only had ice cream and they very kindly let me have some for free which I thought was a really nice gesture. I have been there once before and will certainly be going there again on my next stay in Southampton.

Absolutamente impresionada con la casera Sophie que vio que estaba solo con mis hijos de 1 y 5 años. Ambos eran ruidosos y difíciles y Sophie realmente leyó la habitación y nos hizo sentir bienvenidos. Esa es una cualidad rara que. gracias POR AYUDAR CON UNA MAMÁ ESTRESADA! Además la comida era rápida y de buena calidad. -Muchas gracias. De los padres que estaban disfrutando de una comida con sus hijos en particular la razón por la que hemos estado aquí se debe a 1 yo teniendo cirugía de cráneo abierto mañana. Gracias por la experiencia en su tiempo horrible. < 3

Este cafè es estupendo, cafè excelente y postres inolvidables. Tienes que probable. Te instarìa a que lo hagas. Hazlo ya.

A lovely spot for breakfast, only problem we found was parking being an issue.

Amazing food and atmosphere very cosy area for dining recommended The gammon steak and fish and chips are incredible so is the cheese and bacon burger with chicken !!! All the staff are incredible. Also go to one of there Live music nights (find dates on Facebook)

Awesome Breakfast and good attention from Milo. Great 3 nights stay including a spa treatment which was very good. Overall good experience as usual at Harbour hotel

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Last visited the White Hart several years ago for a meal whilst it wasn’t a disaster it could have been better. The Good: the service , the parfait,the lamb shank, the liver and the beer. The Bad: the portion control and quality of the calamari. Had better cycle inner tubes! The Ugly: I know pubs have to make money but £14 .50 for a glass of Merlot is a bit rich. It wasn’t all bad nor all good best described as average but good staff attitude by not charging for calamari.

Best spot to have a drink and some food, very friendly staff and beautiful pub that has a lovely garden and outdoor area. Great food aswell compliments to the chef!
