We wanted lunch in Hythe and saw that there was space so decided to pop in. Despite being a little after breakfast serving time, we managed to have a cooked breakfast, since our server said it wasn’t really busy. They were delicious and very promptly served. We will be back.

We visit this place from time to time for lunch and the food has always been fantastic. The cafe is also very nice with both indoor and outdoor seating (including benches underneath trees for those who don’t want to be in the sun). Staff are friendly and open to any fiddling with stuff on the menu (e.g. taking off bits you don’t want on sandwiches, etc…)

Such a nice atmosphere on a cold winter day (flooded with sunshine)! Great service and food at the Market Square Kitchen. You can tell that it is a place locals like to go to. Friendly staff. I had the halloumi avocado on sourdough and a peach ice tea and I enjoyed them both! Thank you!

First time here but have passed it on so many occasions . We had breakfasts from full English, pancakes and eggs Benedict. Athe food was lovely and the staff pleasant. The venue is very modern and has a really good atmosphere. Will definitely visit again

We just stopped in here for a coffee and ended up having pastries with our drinks. This restaurant looks a bit tired and old fashioned but the cakes we had more than made it worth the while to stop here and be served by a very personable young man. There is outside seating for the better weather. Don't be put off by the rather shabby interior, you'll get a nice drink and even better pastry.

A Pistachio Birthday Cake ordered for my for my wife's 60th was excellent. Many of our 35 guests commented on how nice the cake looked and tasted. We were so pleased. The weather in this area has been pretty grey and wet lately, so it was good to take advantage of a better day to visit the garden centre/nursery and we decided to lunch whilst we were there. The Potting Shed is bright and welcoming, and on a busy day, we were lucky to find a free table. There is an excellent varied regular menu, but we opted for two of the quiche daily choices which were very good. They came with well presented side salad. Friendly, efficient staff added to our experience and we will be back.

Nice spot on a sunny day. Found a table by the lake. Ordered English Breakfasts for parentals at £6.50 each so not cheap. Breakfast was rough and cheap. The tomatoes were what looked like reheated tinned stewed tomatoes, a single heated up sausage, bacon was okish, baked beans, fried egg with solid cooked yolk. Just rough. It looked revolting tbh. All the hot drinks came in disposable cups with plastic lids. What's wrong with a cup, a proper cup. The menu isn't massive mostly so dishes and panninis so at least make the effort to do a decent breakfast at that price. I'm sure the sandwiches are OK. All the bits of cake were sliced and embalmed in clingfilm. It all just felt cheap, while not being cheap. Anyway. Nice view, nice spot. Could be so so so much better.

We have been member of the club for 6 years . We often go for breakfast but Brenda Andy have retired . The new people are absolute useless first you wait half hour for two breakfasts , to then be told you had not paid for two I went up and said to the lady to which she couldn’t admit it was her mistake , and basically told me and my husband to not come back . I love the club but won’t ever be using them for breakfast ever again shocking young people with chip on shoulders

We eat Sunday Roast out a lot and recently have been disappointed at the places we have tried in Brighton. Went our for a drive today and ended up at The Wheel, Etchingham. Highy recommend. Top notch. Fresh. Delicious. I had chicken, husband three meat and others vegetarian. Very friendly people. Polite. Good price. Highly recommend.
