We visit this place from time to time for lunch and the food has always been fantastic. The cafe is also very nice with both indoor and outdoor seating (including benches underneath trees for those who don’t want to be in the sun). Staff are friendly and open to any fiddling with stuff on the menu (e.g. taking off bits you don’t want on sandwiches, etc…)

Excellent, the mushrooms on toast and French toast ordered was very very good, really enjoyed. Both tasty and generous servings. The service was very efficient and prompt, with meals delivered in a timely manner. I am not too sure about having so many dogs in an eating area, but it seems to be the norm.

Passed this place initially when cycling for a coffee stop, decided to go back for lunch and had the venison sausages with mash and gravy - delicious and good coffee too. Friendly staff, clean, light and airy with outdoor seating.

We were staying in a holiday cottage nearby during our children’s half term and so we popped in for lunch one day. Service was quick and the food was delicious with large portion sizes. My eldest son described his children sandwich as ‘perfection’ which is a rare positive statement from my nearly 13 year old. Farm shop had a nice selection of products too. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving us advice on where we could visit in the area and interesting information about the local area too.

Amazing cakes and great drinks selection! I especially love the cookies. It can get a bit crowded inside due to the limited seating so it's a good idea to get there early.

Hadn’t been for a few years but this visit was underwhelming for me. The Sunday lunch I had (Pithivier) was quite average (a bit bland and needed more sauce) . Roast potatoes felt like they had been sitting around a long time - no crunch. I had also mentioned a birthday when booking and this wasn’t mentioned. The place was very quiet for an Easter Sunday too so not much of a vibe either. Not what I remembered from a prior visit.

We went here to get a little desert as we have been to this cafe before and saw it had quite a good range of gluten free options. They didn’t have much left in stock so we were lucky to get what we got.The gluten free cookies were delicious, tasted really fresh and like they were homemade. Also the cake was really lovely too and tasty. They clearly list the allergens of the product on the screen protector thing behind the cakes. Also tell them about any allergies when ordering.I believe their menu is 100% vegan too.The toilets were really clean too.
