Mason + Rye in Bracknell Forest

All the staff were so polite and kind and the desserts were so high class and delicious. Everything was clean and stocked well. Perfect place for a nice treat! Good price for what it is.

As a regular customer at Mason and Rye I find that the staff work very hard and maintain very good work ethics as if you have not worked in this kind of environment you don't understand. Now from Veronica, to Olivia, Lucia, Victoria and Helen, they are all charming and all the staff that work in the back of house. All staff try to go the extra mile whether be a bit of milk for my tea or a water refill for my friends empty tea pot, it is a fantastic place to have tea and cakes.

I come here from time to time for a drink and a cake at their café on the ground floor. The food is delicious and the staff are brilliant.

This smart café at the first floor of the department store is a lovely trendy place. We stopped here for snacks and drinks, and were pleased with the quality. A nice pitstop during shopping.

Lovely coffee shop with very helpful staff - though we were sorry to see Natalie leave! Always a good variety of delicious cakes and pastries as well as savoury offerings. It has become deservedly ever more popular with a core of regular customers.

The coffee was dreadful, it was not hot enough and it did not taste like coffee. The hot chocolate was powdery and had no taste.

I am the fussiest of fussy. So to say I found Mason & Rye excellent is praise indeed and well deserved, From the first warm greeting, the fine selection of cakes, pastries and lunch offerings, efficient prompt service to leaving having enjoyed lovely coffee, a good really HOT chocolate plus a delicious croissant & marmalade and that rare but pleasant feeling of value for money, all boxes ticked! Look forward to coming back soon for lunch.

Found this local coffee shop within Fenwick. Great selection of food and cakes. Resistant was very clean. Fantastic service.

The staff were warm and friendly. As I was stuck for choice the lady serving me made my choice much more easier. I enjoyed a chicken and bacon baguette with salad and a lovely made coffee. I’d highly recommend a visit if your after a quiet spot to enjoy lunch.

This restaurant is a gem of a find, situated on the ground floor of Fenwick department store. Superb food choices, wonderful atmosphere and helpful friendly staff make this my new favourite when taking a break from shopping.

A beautiful French Patisserie which scream Luxury! Marble-topped counter showcases exquisite hand-made cakes, baguettes and other fine food. Calm, serene atmosphere, a great meeting place for lunch or coffee.......and the price are not extortionate!

There was lovely customer service from a girl who had long blonde hair who was extremely welcoming. Definitely going back again

15:10 on a Sunday and wanted a cup of tea - simply been told they cannot serve as they are shutting at 15:30 by the blonde blue-eyed teen at the counter, pretending to not understand what I wanted - there were still 20 mins to play with

I went to the cafe on Sunday with my boyfriend around 3 pm. The girl at the till (Blonde girl) was quite rude. She said we stop servicing at 3.30 and shut at 4 pm. We told her it’s only 3 pm but she kept saying I don’t know and clearly said she is not gonna serve us. Never had such a bad customer service in my life. I would definitely not recommend to anyone unless management decide to suggest a different attitude from their staff or hire someone little bit educated or in a mood to serve customers

I really love how bright and open this cafe feels, it is always fresh and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. I've only ever had the tea in here, which is nice, but my friend always says the lemonade is to be for.

We spent an hour here with 2 pots of tea and cake. It was very reasonably priced and the area was comfortable to sit and watch the world go by. Definitely better than a Starbucks or costa for a break from shopping!

Always enjoy visiting this cafe inside the beautiful Fenwick's store in Bracknell. Excellent and unusual cakes, absolute works of art. Salads are good as is the other food on offer and the service is always helpful and extremely pleasant. Chairs are comfortable and the tables well spaced out. A pleasure to visit.

Nearly every time I visit my parents locally, we make the trip out to Mason & Rye for cake and/or lunch. We always find the service charming, friendly, enthusiastic and efficient. The salads are always interesting and delicious and staff are knowledgeable about what is in them. The cakes are elegant and just 'different' enough to be special without pretensions. The seating is widely spaced and comfortable and with tables for two or for larger groups. Staff couldn't be more accommodating, and will always offer to carry trays for those unable to do so themselves.

A lovely and relaxing places for a hot drink. Nice ambiance though hot chocolate not hot enough. My wife could drink it straight away. I do like the table service.

Love visiting “M-Rye. Relaxing, staff friendly plus cakes so colourful taste delicious, a treat! Coffee good plus snacks tasty, the main salad are delicious,full of flavour worth the price, very good for vegetarians.sitting outside is good.

I will never get bored with M&R. Cool, calm atmosphere (or at least when I'm there :-) ). No clanging and banging like one can expect in other coffee shops. We share a delicious large roll with tasty filling and a piece of cake - because both are big enough for two people to enjoy :-). The tea is lovely also - such a nice surprise always.

Lovely baguettes and toasted flatbreads. My favourite are the cakes they are beautiful and taste amazing the lime, lemon and yuzu slice is to die for! The staff are very friendly.

Popped in here with family for a relaxed drink and cake. The inside cafe is quite small but the bit outside is good - a bit out of the way but I like that. Good selection of cakes - although quite expensive - but a nice treat. Better this than one of the big chains in Bracknell! Will come back for a treat in future.
