Great pub with excellent staff (caitlyn and sophia) who went above and beyond to help with a gathering for old and new friends for my partners 60th! Nothing was too much trouble,they swiftly made sure everyone was served promptly, kept on top of collecting the glasses and clearing round. Even too helping bringing out a rather large birthday cake. Great pub,great food,great service what are you waiting for people get yourselves down there!

What a fabulous Sunday roast! Can’t recommend this place enough. Food was amazing and at totally affordable prices. Charlotte and John the new owners are super friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back. Oh and compliments to the chef 😀

Spend the evening having dinner with friends. Great atmosphere, wonderful food and drink and Charlotte and Jon as well as their staff were highly attentive. Even on a busy Saturday evening we didn’t have to wait to be served at the bar and food came out promptly and hot! We will definitely be returning and I would highly recommend this pub!

3 of us (2 adults and a child) stopped in for lunch today on a cold January Saturday afternoon. We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome from Caitlin, the fire was on, the football was on, we had excellent service and food, and a couple of pints of Guinness. Definitely 5 stars from us

Just stopped in passing , had a meal Saturday afternoon. The Fish and Chips was excellent, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back for a Sunday roast.

I went with my friends for our annual Christmas drinks, and it was amazing. The live band was great, and their repertoire was a very good choice. The food was excellent. I will definitely go back again!

Whoever is behind the bar makes you feel welcome. All the regulars are a friendly bunch. Dogs are welcome. The food is very good . Popular place to watch sport. Has live music regularly. Good place. Recommended.

2nd visit in as many months. Great food, with a wide range of options. If ordering multiple cokes of different types, do double check when they deliver them to the tables. Superb beer range. Welcoming atmosphere and very helpful and warm staff. Pleasant pub, with reasonable parking. Would recommend and definitely go again.

We had a very disappointing lunch here this afternoon. Had a very mediocre fish finger sandwich with a scraping of tartre sauce, when we asked for more tartre sauce we were told that it would cost an extra 50p We were aghast at this . Very disappointing experience overall.

Wednesday night is quiz night. Superb! So much fun and different rounds each week. Great friendly competition with other teams. My favourite round is the music round. The only round we get good marks on!

I enjoyed my meal. Great company with my daughter and fiance & my other daughter.

Was utterly blown away with the atmosphere in this place. All staff were so lovely and professional. The food wasn’t good it was great! Cooked with love and care. I will definitely be recommending and returning again!

Excellent pub - welcoming and friendly. Jacki, Ed and Caitlin know how to run a genuinely cheerful and warm pub. Great crew - friendly, engaging staff who do an excellent job. Event nights are top-drawer - the weekly quiz is a brilliant night out. Their quiz is genuinely the best pub quiz I've ever attended - lively, funny and loads of team participation and also surprise music spot prizes. They get great music acts in - ones that don't necessarily play in other local pubs, and it's a top sport pub as well - the recent Euros generated a superb atmosphere. The food is excellent - the chef is a master of the Sunday roast - everything from the meat to all the veg and trimmings - all first-class & it's the very best roast I've had in a pub for many, many years. And, to be fair, his burgers, chicken wings and strips are fantastic as well. Top place!

We just moved to Sandhurst early July 2024 and decided we need to visit the Rose & Cross. We were pleasantly surprised with the pricing and the quality of the food. Service was friendly and efficient. Thanks R&C :-) We will be back.

Fantastic family dinner for us on a Tuesday when cooking was a hassle. We decided that after walking the dog we'd prefer not to cook so went to rose and crown as I'd enjoyed the football there . The dinners were excellent with the 2 courses at 12,99 being great value. We had soup, prawns and mushroom starters with burger and hunters chicken as mains with best onion rings I've had as a side 😋. Hunters chicken came with decent amount of skin on fries and a small side salad which was fresh and just right for me. We sat in garden to get evening sunshine and we'll come again soon for a little treat.

It’s a real pub atmosphere and there’s often sports on but this doesn’t take away from the family-friendly atmosphere. And, honestly, the Sunday roast is so good!

Best Sunday lunch ever at The Rose And Crown, Sandhurst. Roast dinner to die for with extra crackling, scrumptious crumble and custard with a side order of Baby Guinness. Thanks to the super-friendly staff for a lovely meal. Will definitely return.

Was only popping in for a drink but the Roast dinner looked so good we had to have one, both had roast beef and then just had to have the sticky toffee pudding, quality of the produce is superb, all cooked to perfection and service at the bar and table faultless. Great value for money.....will see you again soon 10/10 perfect !!!!

Another beautiful (Punch partnership) pub with dining. Exquisite decor and a real cosy feeling... Extended undercover outside area with seating and heaters. There is a large free carpark and dogs are very welcome... Free treats at the bar 🐶 I came on a rainy day but the sturdy canopy was completely water tight Infrared Heaters made it a great place to sit for a spell and relax while I waited for the rain to ease. Staff here are extremely friendly and the whole venue is spick and span throughout. Large TVs outside and throughout for them must see events. A great local with a lot to offer. 😎

Pub was great food but had to wait 1 hour for steak on my lunch time. When back today and food again was an hour believe this maybe an issue with staffing. Once the food came out was amazing after long wait. Issues no baby changing unit when we came with our newborn which for family pub needs to be put in.

Nice place, friendly clientele, will try the food next visit, good old ale on tap.

We had such a good time last night at The Rose and Crown. Quiz night. A night we just cannot miss. We never come first, but that’s ok. We go for the laughs. The hosts, Jacki and Ed, are really great. It’s so funny and we have a brilliant time. The bar staff are second to none. We love this place. I would highly recommend Wednesday nights at The Rose and Crown.

Came in for a meal on Sunday as needed somewhere we could bring two small dogs with us. We had two vegetarian wellingtons and one chicken roast, they were all delicious and I must put extra praise on the yorkshires which were exceptional.

Good pub, usually has a good selection of ales, lagers. Reasonably priced wines. Nice and warm in the winter with a couple of log burning fires. Hood smelt and looked really nice, was almost tempted to get some even though I had already eaten.

Popped in for a beer and found out is was music bingo night. Brilliant fun. Super relaxed atmosphere and great customer service. The Moretti’s went down a treat. I didn’t win at the Bingo but had a great time along with the whole pub. Highly recommended it. Great food. Great service. Great choice of beers, wines and spirits. 100% the Rose and Crown will be my local from now on!

I am now a regular at this fabulous village pub. I started going to attend their regular Wednesday quiz nights but now it’s my go to for any other occasion. They run regular events including quizzes, karaoke, live music and even art classes! It has a very warm, friendly atmosphere and the landlady Jacki and her husband Ed are definitely hosts with the most. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent! Sunday roasts are a must! It also shows live sport which I love. Always a great time whatever the occasion but I especially love the quizzes. Barbara Brice

Fist visit here - came along for a quiz night and will definitely be back! The quiz was fun (and not too brainiac!!) but it was the staff and the warm welcome that was most appreciated. We had some bar snacks which were great - good portions and tasty. Really good night all round - very pleased to have had it recommended to us.

Absolutely amazing! I booked the garden for my daughters birthday party completely free of charge, the owners are so lovely and accommodating. Would definitely recommend The Rose and Crown in sandhurst for anyone looking to hire a venue and we will definitely be back!

Am a well traveled guy from the Midwest in the US, have been to London many times, but never spent much time in the suburbs… Imagine my delight at discovering a new pub – well later we found it was the oldest in the town of Sandhurst, the Rose and Crown. In downtown London, Pubs are just big bars…here though, its more like Cheers – where everybody knows your name..from the warm welcome upon our arrival, to regular checking by Jacki the manager, to a diverse menu and being served a Proper English G&T…all was delightful. Most pleasing was seeing the crowd of 50/50 locals and visitors, but the locals being as welcoming as the staff.. Hope to return next trip and try the wide variety of lagers and ciders that were available…well done Rose and Crown!

After visiting Stonehenge during the afternoon, we asked our local friends about a good pub for dinner - they both choose Rose and Crown...ok - have only been to a few pubs in busy London...to me Pubs are known for beer,,,how was I to know that a classic pub (the oldest in Sandhurst) is known now (under new management we learned) for its warm welcome - by bar staff and the new managers....for outstanding food - whether a steak, my fish and chips or steak ale pie....and bar servers who were able to guide me to lagers and ciders I've never had before...on top of alllllllll this - there was a live band and the place was rocking....so, we got a concert, met a number of locals who agreed - its all about the warm welcome - and ate and drank our way to closing time....and will return next UK trip....well done alll

I am an International Hotel Expert, and a foodie… I’m in town from the USA, and discovering small amazing towns. So, I read some fantastic reviews, and seeing is believing, this I wanted to try it out! I’ve literally been to 150 countries, and my Guinness experience…was one of the best I’ve ever had. I could tell the beer lines were clean, and the “born on glass” dates were new…A perfect pour each time. The food: I tried the salt and chili wings, and they were fresh, and simply outstanding…👏🙌😋 food, service, etc. Can’t wait to try more on my next visit.
