Halloumi Burger was great, very hospitable, kind and caring.

The cafe is a little run down, fish tank that’s empty and mouldy and not sure if they wipe tables after customers leave but the food was good and the staff are generous. If you want somewhere with a nice setting and atmosphere with family, I would not recommend this cafe but if you want a quick sandwich or takeout / coffee then I would recommend. I think a bit of up keep in the cafe / fresh paint would work wonders.

The most dirty restaurant I ve been in. Tbe floo was literally sticking to your shoe sole! Breakfast was shocking, left the coffe and plate on the table and left. Disgusting

There was lots of hair over the omelette which looked like animal hair. Coffee was watery- could not finish it. Cakes looked so old and shop brought. No atmosphere- no music etc. has so much potential for a small community cafe but seems like no passion from the staff. Would not return

Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great cafe experience. The food was delicious, the coffee was superb, and the service was top-notch. I can't wait to visit again!

Tried this cafe last week, wasn't keen on the Coffee tasted cheap and left a nasty aftertaste, shame the cakes and pastries looked a little old, not fresh and would prefer to see them homemade or look higher quality. Really want to support this local small business, but unfortunately the Coffee used isn't for me.

All tables were dirty and I had to clear plates myself to be able to sit on a clear table however not clean. The staff didn’t seem very enthusiastic either so overall bit disappointed but food was good

I came to Ascot with a whole film crew. 30 people to feed, and I stumbled online on this place, I liked the name, so I called the day before. They were adorable, and when I showed up in the morning to place the order and all, I was blown away! I thought I needed to pick up at 1pm, then my team moved it up for 11:30 and the cafe still made it happen! For once, there was no missing sandwiches, which never happens when you order in bulk (we’ve all been there, bringing back the food and one person doesn’t have their meal and you feel terrible about it). Here, everything went amazingly smoothly, they were really kind, even helping me bring the boxes to my car. And the sandwiches were DELICIOUS! My whole team felt very well taken care of, and it’s thanks to Something Else to Eat! I’ll definitely come back there every time I’m in Ascot, this has been one of the best customer service I’ve ever had! Thank you guys for this delicious lunch!

Very friendly and great selection of foods

This small family run business always has great service and awesome food. Lots of home made cakes and regularly changing specials available. Great place to go and sit in or takeaway from.

I was driving behind their van today and it was nearing lunchtime so I decided to follow it back and order lunch! So it's over 4 years since I was last here and I don't know if there's been a change of ownership but the menu on offer is completely different from what it was. My opinion is for the better! I ordered a beanburger and fries with a chocolate orange brownie to go. Service was prompt and friendly, but the it's the food that really matters and that did not disappoint! My beanburger was freshly cooked and garnished nicely, and tasted as good as it looked. French fries too were really good - crisp, and not at all greasy or oily.. The brownie was so big I only ate half (save the rest for later!) but it was delicious without being too sweet or stodgy. Last time I was here I gave this place 4 stars, but I am happy to now give it a solid 5.

Ordered on Just Eat and couldn't be happier. A new go-to for sure. Great food made, presented and delivered with care. Hardly ever leave reviews on anything but had to give them credit. What a place, food was just what you'd want it to be and so was the price ;). Bravo.

I was recommended to visit and am I glad I went. Tucked away in a residential area you would never know it was there. I chose the garden breakfast, my guest had bacon, halloumi and tomato panini. 2 cups of tea. Firstly the tea, we had mugs and an additional pot, all with tea bags, not the usual pot of water, loads of milk. My breakfast made a nice change plenty of everything and tasty, the panini was full of filling and a nice side salad. My guest has eaten there before, club sandwich, huge. Scrumpy cakes.

'A diamond in the rough' is how I would describe this little gem of a cafe come diner! I placed an order online with Just Eat as I fancied a afternoon snack. I ordered a chocolate oreo vanilla ice cream milkshake and some BB Chicken wings. The order was ready in good time and as I only live a mile away I went to collect. Unfortunately when I got there their delivery driver had accidentally taken my order by mistake. They could not be more apologetic and offered to deliver it to my home as I couldn't wait. I said that I would collect it later and when I returned they apologised again & offered me a cake of my choice as a mends. I happily obliged, choosing the mint aero rocky road! Apart from the fact that their customer service was excellent, the staff couldn't be nicer and the food & milkshake were delicious. If you are local you should seek out this fine little eatery, don't be put off by it's location. You will not be disappointed!

Friendly chatty staff. Dog friendly cafe with outside and inside seating. Tasty food for a good price. Delicious. We will be back

Turned away from another cafe due to not booking, we came here and found we prefer here anyway. Great food, great service, lovely staff and just off the beaten track enough that it's not heaving. Food really was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Little bit late but I did order an hour before close they even gave complimentary cookies which is a lovely touch! Great tasting treats and great quality! Definitely recommended.

Been a regular at this place for about 2 years. It's under new management but the same great chef works in the kitchen. Really good coffee. The menu will be changing, but I've so far really enjoyed the Full English and the New York Deli. Great service, great food, great coffee.

Something Else to eat is a fantastic cafe. The staff are really friendly and helpful and they have the best coffee around!

4 of us dropped in to this very nice cafe. Offering a high mix of hot drinks, alcohol and various foods including tapas,meze etc. Neat tidy and good service. The tapas at the time seemed more like open sandwiches rather than the traditional Spanish fare. However it was nice as were the fattening desserts!!

Was a bit bored of the limited choice of venues to grab a good sandwich when working on a Saturday in Ascot, so a colleague found this place online. Decided to give it a try. It's in the less desirable part of Ascot, off Fernbank Road, but the food was good and pricing very reasonable. Service was prompt and polite also. Worth a punt!

Fantastic news this little gem is going to start doing Tapas in the evenings. Always a great breakfast and looking forward to trying the Tapas again. Great news on the licence as well

Friendly staff, nice coffee and snacks.

Something else to eat helped us cater for a party of 100 people. They stepped in last minute and could not have been more helpful. They talked us through the various options and come up with a menu that was both attractive and on budget. We were too busy ourselves during the party to focus on the food, but we had many compliments afterwards. According to our guests it was all very tasty and there was a great variety, including vegetarian and gluten free options.

Absolutely fantastic - lovely staff, always willing to adjust and suggest menu's - always on time and presented nicely. Very tasty too. covers all our needs and the hot food is excellent. no more meal deals for us. Thank you Norman and the gang.

As well as serving delicious food in their lovely establishment they provided a first class buffet and bar service for over 100 guests at my husbands birthday party. From start to finish they went the extra mile and came up with some great ideas for the food to tie in with the 70's party theme. Thank you Stacey for all your help with everything and also to Dan too on the night when you both did a fabulous job behind the bar. If you need caterers you don't need to look any further.

Love this place! Really cheap but the food is gorgeous! I've been a few times now and had a club sandwich. Completely prepared from fresh and absolutely delicious each time. So cheap compared to everywhere else around here!!

I work in Reading at one of the offices that Something Else deliver to - every day there is a fantastic choice and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering how good the quality of food is. They accept card, are friendly, and just make lunchtimes generally easier.

Used for the 1st time today... Outstanding service and food was excellent at very reasonable cost, highly recommend
