51 Degrees North in Mole Valley

I’d passed this restaurant zillions of times on my trips from Dorking to the rest of the world but never thought to stop by, what a mistake!! From my initial call to make my booking to paying the bill, the whole experience was just relaxed loveliness. The food was tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. The staff were engaging and helpful and i’m looking forward to going again soon. Also very good value for money, thank you for a lovely time.

I am so terribly disappointed, and quite frankly scared to eat here again. I have a severe allergy to Gluten and although was assured by the GF advice on the menu, I discovered their menu is misleading. In fact the menu states my choice was GF when it was not. This experience has made me seriously doubt the safety of their menu. My granddaughter has a severe allergy to dairy and I do not have confidence their menu is accurate as a result of this. I am in healthcare and would not give penicillin to someone with an allergy to it. Sadly my concerns were fobbed off and not taken seriously. I think of the poor families who have lost loved ones due to severe allergies and am so upset on their behalf.

Always a fantastic experience-brunch, lunch or valentines supper, the food and service is so great. A hard working team with so much heart-this place is what good hospitality is all about. I can thoroughly recommend a visit here-you will always leave happy. Great food and great value for money -a real gem of a place.

Special supper evening last night - absolutely fabulous food. Breakfast is always great but this was exceptional - the Thai Green Curry was amazing as were the starters and puds!

What a lovely place this is. Visited for the first time today and was amazed at the transformation of what use to be Frascati's restaurant on the A 24 just between Dorking and Leatherhead .Clean,fantastic breakfast choices and coffee. Staff very pleasant. Easy to find.Well worth a visit.

Since opening, we have been a regular for breakfast here and it is always such a pleasure. The cafe is set in a beautiful location and we tend to go for a walk afterwards. The decor inside is just gorgeous. The lady who owns it, is great with interiors and she certainly has a special eye for decor. We even had a nose at the rooms above to be rented out and they were also very lovely. We have never had a bad meal here, they are always very tasty and plentiful. My husband loves the French toast with fruit, he said it’s the best he has had. We plan to book for one of the taster evenings as soon as we can. All staff are all really lovely too.

Tucked in just off the off A24, this delightful cafe is bright and spacious with an excellent menu and great coffee. We had brunch recently with friends and the food as ever, was fantastic. A little gripe (a tiny one!) was our coffee being made in between the server messaging on his phone….but I guess we all over-use our phones! We’ll be back regularly, and I see they’ve just opened some rooms for short stays too which look lovely.

Had high hopes for this place after reading reviews but the food was really poor, £10 for 1 tiny piece of toast with smoked salmon that looked questionable and the worst poached eggs I have ever seen. Think I could of broken a window with them!

Delicious food, great value and good service - very friendly and polite. Very clean too. The eggs benedict were lovely and I will definitely be back!

My husband, myself and a friend came here for Sunday breakfast . The food was lovely (my poached eggs were done to perfection ) and nicely presented. The staff were very friendly and the place was very nicely decorated. Definitely worth a visit.

Always excellent food, service atmosphere. Love this place and will keep coming back for breakfast, brunch, lunch and coffee.

Came here for Sunday Brunch as somewhere new to visit. We needed easy access as my wife was on crutches and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. There is limited parking alongside the A24 but even on a busy day - we found a spot. The all day breakfast was really good (there are also noodles on the Sunday menu - maybe next time). The cafe was packed with mostly families - room for about three dozen - but didn't feel squashed in. Yes we will be back.

My friend and I enjoyed a really delicious breakfast here. Parking was easier than expected. The building has been beautifully converted. There’s a small deli, a coffee bar and then seating at the back. It’s such a pleasant environment. The staff were so friendly and nice. I had a cooked breakfast and my friend had mushrooms on toast. We were both really happy with our choices. My breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had! I’d both recommend and be happy to go back in a shot!

We popped in at the end of the tea to meet friends halfway between our respective homes. Staff very friendly & welcoming with delicious selection of cakes. Spotlessly clean too. We will be back!

The food there is amazing very high standard lovely cultured variety food. The prices are very good and reasonable and the quality of food is amazing

I went there for lunch with my family , and was very impressed with the food and service . All the staff were very accommodating and it being dog friendly was a great bonus .

Having been once already it was really good. Lovely spacious bright interior and great food. My 2nd visit I took my family. Quite disappointing. The breakfast was all over cooked and the beans cold. It was busy and the drinks took ages. I did mention...

Really disappointed , looks the business and boasts locally sourced produce for the full English breakfast , it is a shame you cannot taste this produce, due to the deep fat fried burnt to a crisp offering you are served up. High end prices ,...

This is, possibly, my 15th visit. I cannot recommend 51° North too highly. Fresh, light decor, friendly staff and delicious food. The breakfast menu, particularly, is excellent. Try the Pancakes or Eggs Benedict, or if you need filling up the English Breakfast is outstanding. This...

I've been here a couple of times since it opened. It's a really nice place - good ambience, friendly staff and good coffee. They are about to open selected evenings which I'll be keen to try.

Had scrambled egg on toast, really nice, happy, helpful staff, morning menu stopped at noon but they cooked this at 12.30 which is great service,
