Our first visit here and will not be our last. They dealt with my special request efficiently. The staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful.

A family meal before holidays. A random pick in the local area. Great staff who were attentive and friendly. 3 roasts and 1 curry ordered- all very good and very tasty. The pub is pretty and well spaced with a large outside area. Very impressed

We really enjoyed our meal at The Pheasant. The food was delicious, it has a lovely atmosphere with brilliant outside seating as well as a cosy interior with plenty of tables. The service was excellent too. We will be returning very soon!

Lovely atmosphere sitting outside undercover. Dogs made very welcome. Prompt service. Excellant food. Sunday lunch was a good plateful. £25 for shoulder of lamb sunday lunch. Never been here before but chose it to meet friends halfway. Big car park, spacious bar area with plenty of casual seating including arm chairs. Large restaurant with tables well spaced out. Service was friendly, food was served in good time and tasted great, tandoori trout and crispy beef salad, yum yum! Prices were very reasonable with voluntary service charge. Can’t fault! Well done The Pheasant team !

We’ve been here before, so knew what to expect, but today’s meal for the 4 of us was superb! Service was spot on considering it was the Fathers Day w/e, served quicker than we expected, and tasted great. Empty plates all round!

Really pretty pub - we’d stopped by for a quick drink and thought the decor was lovely and cosy and food looked good. Lunch today was very mediocre. Such a lovely setting and friendly staff not food took a long time to arrive. Looked good but pasta wasn’t even lukewarm, sweet potatoes not cooked enough and vegan burger dry and overcooked. Would probably return for drinks in the garden but not food.

Been there twice, both times food and service have been fantastic. The pub is beautiful inside and out, and the atmosphere is nice and welcoming. They serve Shere Drop from Surrey Hills Brewery 👌🏻

Amazing food, the Staff are Lovely and they do yummy cocktails 🍸 I had a mango passion fruit it was delicious it comes with a shot of prosseco. Starter fried brie with apple sauce 😋 and dinner delicious Lamb pie with mash potato and cabbage.

Me and my wife have been to the pheasant multiple times over 2 years and we had dinner on friday 03/05/2024 and the food was absolutely amazing the service was very quick and the staff are so polite will be returning more often

Absolutely lovely evening spent with family. Food was delicious; quality & quantity for price was very reasonable. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating; nothing was too much hassle! The only thing we weren't huge fans of was the noise; the room we were seated in was extremely busy and loud (which was lovely to see of course) however it felt like a fight to be heard over the table during conversation. We will definitely be returning though as it is a gorgeous, traditional, country pub that caters to all dietary requirements too!

Great pub , a little underwhelmed by the pie , I was expecting a fantastic meal but it may have just been a bad choice. We spend several hours there and thoroughly enjoyed it, well worth giving it a go.

Booked on a Sunday afternoon for after 5pm and table available. Wasn't busy after 6pm. Quick food service. Above average prices. Nice inside and plenty of seats outside.

60th birthday celebrations on a damp Tuesday night. Welcome all of you, it was a splendid evening.

Sadly quite dry and not particularly well cooked tood, cold chips and roast lamb was fatty. Slaw on the Asian chicken burger was dry. A great shame as we live locally and had hoped to be back again as it would be really convenient but we will not. We had guests with us and they were quite vocal about the poor food so that was not ideal. Avoid.

Fantastic food and excellent service. This is not pub food. This is a high-class, high-quality restaurant with attentive and helpful staff, a varied menu, set in a spacious, welcoming, and comfortable dining room. You have to wait a bit for your food as it is all freshly prepared, but you don't notice the waiting time as you would in a regular pub. The atmosphere and the ambience are relaxing, and when your food arrives, your wait is so worth it. Beautifully cooked, exquisitely presented, perfectly sized portions of fresh, delicious food that easily surpassed our expectations. Prices are very reasonable and so you get excellent value for money. A large car park and a huge patio and garden area for sunnier days, there's nothing negative to report. I would score it 8 out of 5 if I could, and I can't wait for my next visit.

I met friends for a light lunch, I chose the open Prawn sandwich. The service was good, food tasty and plenty of parking. I will return again.

Pop in occasionally and sit outside. Have a heated covered area and plenty of seating. Dog bowls available. Plenty of parking, clean and good service.

We were very pleased to be able to book a table at short notice. The pub was very busy as you'd expect but this didn't affect the fabulous service or food, great ambience also. There were plenty of staff and all were very attentive and provided excellent service. Great choice on the menu and the food was presented beautifully, was very hot and tasted fantastic. We sat chatting, eating & drinking for 3 hours and the time just flew by. Great selection of wines to choose from and very reasonably priced. Thanks so much for a great dining experience, very unusual in a pub these days! We will definitely be back.

This is no ordinary pub lunch. The chef is excellent. The potions are large. A wonderful experience.

A bit pricey for the quality of the food plus the reservation I made was lost. The whole place was a little chaotic.

We got told to not return due to complaining about the terrible service and quality of the food. I’ve never experienced such bad customer service by a manager (Lizzie) in my life. Rather than trying to rectify this issue we wasn’t happy with, she became incredibly defensive, aggressive and rude and in the end started laughing at us. Do not bother going!

I am a regular at The Pheasant, but hadn't been again until this evening for the last 5 months. As usual, the service was exemplary. Our table was waitered by Ryan, who was very attentive, ensuring that we always had a drink in our hand. A+ - Would highly recommend to anyone local or any visiting the area.

Acoustics are an issue. Very noisy when we visited at lunchtime. I ordered fish and chips. The fish was small and only a small amount of chips. All for over £18. The ambience was good and the service at our table was very good.

The food was excellent Sunday meals, the service from Chris was brilliant and a good table for a big groupe. One of the best Gluten Free menu I seen so I was stuck what to chose... the food was amazing. Definatly looking forward to returning to try the other items on the menu 😄

Brilliant evening with friends, plenty of space for our group in a very relaxed atmosphere. Fabulous attentive service - our waiter asked chef to make a dessert from scratch that they’d run out of and they also serve the best chocolate brownie ever.

We were looked after by a lovely young man. Once he realised one of our party had a plane to catch and was tight for time he took the orders and everything went really smoothly

We were meeting friends here and it was a party of 10. The staff were pleasant and the food was ok. It was a Tuesday lunchtime and was quite quiet, so 'atmosphere' was lacking although there were a number of different areas there. Would I go back? Probably...

The service was really impressive. It was a really busy period being Mother’s Day but they were very friendly, helpful and quick to take the order, being out drinks and then the food. The food was delicious and then they finished off with a lovely touch, presenting my partner on her first Mother’s Day with a homemade brownie the chef had made in the morning to take home with her.

Had an amazing evening at The Pheasant with friends for dinner. The design and decor is so welcoming, tidy, clean and great quality. The staff serving us were so pleasant and helpful. We had great humour between us and the staff and it all made for a great experience. Our group have a "Irish Coffee - challenge wherever we go - and would like to congratulate you on winning the "Best Irish Coffee" award - where SO many other places have failed us!. Location is ideal with loads of parking close to the entrance. Please visit as you will not be disappointed. A++

If I could give 10 stars I would! My first visit, with my 91 year old mum, for Sunday lunch. All the staff we saw looked happy and engaged; they were all attentive and moved at a pace, but not rushed. The food was served quickly (we both ordered a roast) and was piping hot, really tasty, and well-presented. Lovely coffee to finish. We shall definitely return and can thoroughly recommend this place. Many congratulations to the management and staff - you havr have clearly cracked it!

It was extremely busy on a Sunday afternoon and service was great but if there's any criticism.. very minor..food could have been just a tad hotter.. otherwise excellent.

This was my first visit for lunch organised by friends. We had 2 dogs, the staff were very friendly, the food was very good and there was a nice ambience. Furthermore, the beer was excellent. I shall be returning next time I am in the area

We arrived at the pheasant today for lunch we have been many times before. I had belly pork my husband had seabass. My pork was very fatty, I know pork can be fatty but this was exceptionally so, and my husband's potatoes were not cooked. We did not mention this at the time because we are polite . Also we were not given any sugar with our coffee. There were two of us. We had dinner for two of us and puddings plus two coffees, the bill came to over 88.00 for the two of us. I know things have gone up but this was expensive, also the standard of meal did not reflect this extortionate price. We have been out to bills recently and zizzis and had dinner and pudding, but the meals did not come to this price The pheasant is basically a pub and nothing special, so we were puzzled as to what this is so expensive. The grumpy mole prices are compatible to this and the food there is a lot better. We were very ☹️ disappointed, the meal with it's faults was not worth the price

Three of us had a delicious Boxing Day lunch here. The food was something a bit special especially the vegan options which were more interesting than in some other places. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the service impeccable. Couldn't fault it.

What can I say... 5 stars isn't enough - if I could give 10, I would. Our family had a terrible lead up to Christmas with my father going into, then out of hospital, then in again. My mother caught COVID and with each drama our party number and requirements kept changing. Each time Lizzie at The Pheasant made the necessary changes without fuss. On the day the quality of food and service we enjoyed was truly first class, with a wonderful festive atmosphere. Even though the restaurant was fully booked we were made to feel like we were the only ones who mattered. Thank you Lizzie and all at The Pheasant for making our Christmas such a special one.

In spite of the fact that it is the festive season and The Pheasant was full of large tables having parties, we, who were only two, still felt completely welcomed and looked after. Neither rushed nor forgotten about - attentiveness to us was just perfect. Atmosphere happy, food good. Thank you team for a great evening.

Fantatsic pub with stunning food, didn't realise how big this place is with a lovely outdoor area. Car park is also very large so no issues there even on a weekend 3weeks before Xmas. 100% recommended

Went for a light lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Had no issues finding a table. The food was great and the atmosphere was fabulous. Warm and cosy pub on a cold day - lovely first visit. We will be back!

Very nice atmosphere. Excellent Sunday lunch, let down only by the Pheasant burger which was very disappointing. A piece of deep fried bird in a white bun with chips scattered on the plate…. Not at all worth £17… Roast beef was excellent, desserts lovely. Staff very caring and polite.

Spent a wonderful evening here with friends. Large car park which was well lit. Lots of room around the tables, so feels airy and not cramped. The food was delicious. Nice little touches like dog bowls and treats. A box of spectacles, in case you forgot yours.

We went here for Sunday lunch. The food really was very good, it's now the best local Sunday lunch in the Reigate area for me. The service is very friendly, if a little slow (the place was packed). It is really nicely maintained inside and has a good atmosphere. The only drawback was that the main dining room was quite noisy, and we had to raise our voices to have a conversation. We will be back and try sitting in the bar area which looks a little quieter.

We come to the Pheasant regularly for a light lunch but on this occasion we came for a family celebration. The menu doesn’t seem to have as much variety as it used to, although what we did have most enjoyed. The big issue was the fact that it was 13 degrees outside and they had the heating on and both fires blazing- no cost of living here. With a full dining room with lots of people it’s completely unnecessary and made it very uncomfortable to sit in and eat. Most of the table had to keep getting up to go outside to get some fresh air including us having to take the newborn baby outside to cool down. The staff just kept feeding the fires without a thought. There also seem to be a lack of staff on with some big tables in so service was a little slow. I hope the pheasant take this feedback onboard as it’s one of the places we enjoy going to usually but on this occasion it was a little under par
