Went with friends here, had a coffee with pastry. Pastry was utterly lovely, coffee I’m sure was lovely but wasn’t to my liking. There was a few seats inside but I wouldn’t say it’s a massively sit down inside place. No toilets was a draw back. But the choice of pastries was great. Staff all seemed lovely but need to mindful of noise when people are eating and trying to have a peaceful breakfast.

Very mixed. Nussecke was good. Muffin very stodgy and no flavour. Not sure if it was bread or cake. Looked a good range of sourdoughs . Designed for takeaway as no real seating area

Every time i visit Eastbourne (about once per month) i come here to buy sourdough bread, rosemary & seasalt, also olive. Excellent bread. Excellent flavours and textures. The only problem for me is the loudness of the music (to create the "vibe" they want). It is so loud that on my several recent visits both the staff and i have had to raise voices and even then to keep repeating ourselves to be understood. So waiting inside the shop to be served is a problem for me. Good coffee - but too unpleasant / stressful to sit in and drink

A beautiful addition to Eastbourne! The pastries are unreal - I had the peanut butter flavoured pain au chocolat and a flat white and my friend had the frangipane pastry with a tea. I also got a rosemary and salt focaccia for the train home. Great coffee and excellent, friendly service. It is slightly more pricey than other local places but you do get what you pay for. Highly recommend!

Good quality croissants but why is it so expensive ? £4 for a croissant and £5 for a Pain au chocolat ! The real pâtisserie in Brighton is the reference and even they are nowhere near as expensive.

Heerlijke verse koffie en of thee met een keur aan belegde toast, hartige en zoette broodjes en mooie broden. Gezellige sfeer en goed publiek , echt een aanrader om bij deze bakker even aan te schuiven.

I was quite shocked by the shabby, loveless presentation of the pastries/cakes. They looked flat, pale and collapsed. Why would I buy something like that. I suggest they go and have a look at some continental bakeries.

I popped in here yesterday morning and spent quite a few minutes choosing what to eat with my mug of tea. There was a wonderful selection of tempting choices, all the pastries and buns looked so delicious and fresh. I chose a vegan cheese and pesto bun and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I will definitely be visiting again. In fact I can’t wait! 👍❤️ 🥯 ☕️

Excellent freshly made pastries which we ate at a table just outside, crispy light and buttery. I especially like the zatar cheese croissants and their cinnamon pastries. Their sourdough bread looked amazing but we were staying in a hotel so didn’t buy any. Also bought a square slice of sourdough pizza with pesto and kale to take away for lunch which was delicious Coffee was spot-on - outstanding! This place is an absolute must for foodies, well worth skipping hotel breakfast for!

Sourdough pizza is a bit overrated but cakes and brownies are amazing. Probably the best quality sweat treats in Eastbourne. You can eat in, but this is primarily a bakery, so you don’t get cutlery - they provide plates and napkins. I will definitely come back for brownies and coffee.

Hmm, a lot of hype for very mediocre produce. The sourdough bread is good but not exceptional or any better than others I have tasted. The pastries are quite doughy but ok and the coffees are small for the price. I like to support local and might pop in again if I was passing but I wouldn’t make a special trip. As an aside no serviettes offered or recycle bin to put leftover paper packaging 😞

This is the most amazing bakery, with lovely sourdough bread and lots of different pastries with unusual flavours which worked really well. Really friendly people running it, lovely atmosphere and it opens really early as all good bakeries should. Will definitely be back

Any place that bakes its own sourdough bread has a head start on making a good sandwich. Add a generous filling of BLT plus chicken and they definitely have a winner. This plus a large mug of good (and strong!) coffee for £8.80. Well worth...
