Great bar staff very genuine and friendly Ordered nibbles was recommend by the bar staff Unfortunately dat at table near kitchen entrance 🤢 Chips I. Silver bowl kitchen Porter and other staff eating from with bare fingers 🤢 Didn’t want to ruin everyone’s evening said nothing but I didn’t touch the food Great food everyone enjoyed other than what I saw 🤢🤢🤢🤢

Proper local's boozer. Decent sized pub with friendly staff and a great pint of Guinness. Can't complain

Nice place on the river after walking the wall. Food choices are limited as in sandwiches, but. The quality is excellent. I would highly recommend the ham and cheese. The ham looked like it had been carved off the hock and I surmise the cheese was Cheshire with a cup of tea, very tasty. The selection of cakes etc, was better, it's a pity I don't have much of a sweet tooth.

Clean and tidy shop, staff are very friendly.

Have been to the Railway a number of times. The homemade steak and kidney pie is always excellent, as is the service. If you have young children they will love the extensive play area and it is easy to observe them from inside if you have the right table.

Me and the wife were in for lunch time meal , the meal we had was spot on the young lady who served us was very friendly. will be back thanks

We visit this costa regularly due to hospital visits. It’s generally pretty busy and the staff are often run off their feet but they are always polite and helpful. They do seem to run out of things quickly- hence the four stars - however it’s one of the cleaner costas and the furniture is well maintained.

Beer tasted a bit off and the atmosphere was depressing which is a shame because on the outside it looks like a nice pub.

Order never arrived. Waste of money

I recently visited this establishment with colleagues for a few drinks. I was very impressed with the service and the quality of the products on offer. It is clear that this establishment is very well-managed. I highly recommend it.

with a tired toddler in toe in a push chair, I was made to feel rushed when ordering at the counter, un friendly staff, no please, thank you or hello when serving customers… The food is overpriced for what it is….. and my raspberry and apple muffin was stale. (Dare I ask for a fresh one with staff that can’t crack a smile) The woman that served me could see I had my granddaughter asleep on her pram but she never offered to carry my tray, instead I had to leave her by the table in her pram while I went back to get my tray, even though she wasn’t busy. Over priced Poor customer service Miserable unhelpful staff stale food

Awful Sunday lunch. Rock hard cold roast potatoes, came out with no vegetables at all! Had to ask the waitress who took them back in and came out with a floret of broccoli and cauliflower dropped on the top! Beef was like shoe leather. Just shocking for such a well known place. Won't be returning!
